GN Notes 319 leads away. 418 goes around in turn 1. 166 and 289 bounce off each other and the back straight fence. 127, 175 and 463 race three abreast down the back straight next lap. 545 is away and gone. 1 takes 94 and 216 in one move down the back straight. 515 gives 172 a huge hurry up into turn 1 which sees Micky clout the fence big time. The closing laps sees 16 send 515 into turn 3 quicker than Frank wanted. Mat gains the place. 545 and 78 finish top two to complete an excellent race for the two 'C' graders. That's it from me for a few weeks folks. Back from Skeggy on 9th July 👍
  8. Pit News 197 - Loaded up and gone 515 - Rad change. 78 - Welding front panhard rod attachment point. 326 - Mark bashing wing back into shape. 47 - Changing front panhard rod.
  9. Final Focus 78 leads away. Lap one sees a slow roll over off the turn 3 fence for 326. The restart sees 211, 463, 418, 410 and 16 all pile up in turn 2. Shortly after 463 rolls it at the end of the back straight after tangling with 72. All ok. 415 leads away on the restart. 94 goes around exiting turn 4. 197 and 515 engage in a side to side banging match until Ryan moves clear. Frankie gets caught up in a 47 & 381 incident on the home straight and gets a flat right front. 172 leads. 166 gets spun by 410 in turn 1 which sends the following cars on a wayward trajectory. Unfortunately 415 is stopped on the outside of turn 2 and gets collected. Caution for Russell to get to safety. 197 leads the start. With what looked a certain victory the 197 car slowed within a lap of the green flag and pulled off with a flat right rear after clouting the back end against the turn 2 fence. 127 now led until the 1 car came on the scene. Austin didn't give the place up easily but Tom got by within the lap. 127 held off the following 259 car to finish a good second.
  10. Pit News 373 - Both front shockers broken at the top. 5 - Changing gear set. It's looking like a repeat of Brafield last week. 372 - Panhard rod replaced. Steering linkage removed and being worked on. 389 - Front left bumper end and bracing sheared. 21 - Loaded up with right back corner and cab damage. 44 - Sledgehammer being wielded on the front right corner prior to welding. 259 - Clutch plates spun out after a hit in the race. A race against time to fix it for the Final. 418 - Propshaft shattered. 249 - Working on the diff pinion.
  11. Heat Three Happenings 415 leads the field away. 197 on it from the get go with a big push into turn 3. 515, 166 and 373 tangle in turn 3. Bobby has more trouble in turn 1 getting caught up with 319, 389 and 278. 16 pulls off with a flat right front. 515 likewise soon after with a flat right rear. 418 and 410 race together over many laps. 249 puts up a good defence against 197 and 1 as they come through. He tries his best to connect with the 1 rear end in turn 3 but can't get quite close enough. Ryan wins his second of the night.

Pit News 5 - Carb and fuel probs. 335 - Front left shocker top mount broken. 268 - Front right corner bent back. 389 - Replacing right nerf rail. 16 - Porta power on the bent front axle. 234 and 23 both looking very sorry for themselves with major front end work needed. 249 - Welding the back left corner. 191 - Conrod through the sump, hence the engine fire. 93 - Porta power on the front axle. 341 - Front end needing major repairs. The team are starting with straightening the front axle. 259 - Front right corner cut off and new bits being prepped for welding. 410 - Right rear nerf rail requires cutting back and welding after hitting the fence. 211 - Porta power and welder on the right rear corner. 418 - Taping up the mangled wing support.
  13. Heat Two Happenings 78 leads away. 21 catches the rear corner of the 1 car in turn 3 which nearly spins out. 5 is flying through the field. 515 gives 94 a whack into turn 1. The next lap 94 does likewise to 410 who rides out the hit. 216 goes around in turn 4, with 166 doing the same in turn 1. 1 gets spun out in a gaggle of cars exiting turn 2 and retires from the race. 418's wing sustains damage and adopts an unusual angle. 515, 326, 93 and 23 pile up in turn 3 which brings out the caution. 541 leads the restart. 16 gets past 5 with a hit to the back corner in turn 2. However on the exit of turn 4 a slow moving 172 holds Mat up which allows 197 to move in with a big hit. 5 is the next to feel the 197 front end in turn 2 as Ryan forces his way through with a double hit on Charlie. A collision between 341 and 23 on the home straight brings out the caution. 381 leads the field. Lewis tries to hold off the red top onslaught in the few remaining laps but Ryan is soon through and away up front followed by 16.
  14. Heat One Happenings 78 leads away. 211, 127 and 278 tangle in turn 4 on the first lap. 234 spins it in turn 1. A lap later 127 and 545 collide with the 234 car. An errant spring rolls leisurely through the turn. 44 and 23 crash out together in turn 3 bringing out the caution. 319 heads the restart. 78 puts a big challenge in on 319 with a flying hit into turn 1. 249 fires a few cars into turn 3 in one hit. 211, 175, 373, 44 and 389 to name a few. 326 now leading from 191. The 191 car develops an engine fire in the closing laps but Josh continues until a red flag is called.
  15. Welcome to King's Lynn folks. A bit of work pre-meeting on the Niels Tesselaar (418) car. The right rear part of the nerf rail needed taking in as it was sticking out too far. Some cutting and welding up carried out on the rear brace. An engine change for 326 as well.
