  1. Pit News: 175 - Working on the gearbox/engine mounting. H418 - Changing the right king pin. 525 - Rear panhard rod left end joint sheared. 308 - Not racing today. Feels rough after the hard hit to the fence in yesterday's GN.
  2. Hello folks from sunny Brafield for Championship Sunday. Heat One Happenings: 389 leads away. 12, 446 and 25 tangle in turn 2. 5 spins it in avoidance. Caution for the stranded 25 car. On the restart 446 scatters the pack ahead of him into turn 1. 326 goes for a 360 degree. 20 and 446 trade hits for a lap. 555 climbs over 20 in turn 1. 16 has escaped up front and gives chase to race leading 11. 446 fires 525 into turn 3. 3 to go sees 16 take the lead from 11 down the back straight.
  3. GN Notes: 414 leads away. 5 piles em' up into turn 3 on the opening lap. 212 and 457 have a coming together in turn 3. Over the next few laps cars are bouncing off the stationary ones as chaos reigns supreme on the crowded track. Caution to move some cars to safety. 389 heads the restart. 308 gets fired into the turn 3 fence by the following pack. 289 goes around in turn 2. Caution for the stranded 308 car. H418 fires 20 into turn 1 on the restart. A huge pile up involving half the field occurs in turn 2 which sees the 5 car upside down. 197 takes an outside line and comes to an abrupt halt in amongst the stationary cars. He is towed off with damage to the steering, and a flat right rear. H418 leads the restart and sets sail for the victory. After being shoved off line 216 rejoins from the infield into path of 211 and 457. He bounces off the 211 back corner and then gets spun out by 457. 2 hits 1 into turn 1 and takes the position. The next lap sees a lap down 446 do likewise. Next in line to have a pop at the ailing 1 car is 259 but he declines the move and follows the World Champ over the line. That's it folks.   4. Final Focus: 319 leads away. A multi-grade pile up in turns 1 & 2 involves a fair number of cars. 1 goes around in turn 4 amongst a crowd of cars. 515 tangles with him. As the 1 car sets off he gets clouted by a fast moving 335. Caution for the turn 1 stranded cars. H418 top red on the restart. Only for a lap though as he hooks up with 12 on the home straight. All the reds are circulating in a high speed duel. 197 launches the train into turn 1 which sees 16 whack the fence. Next lap round the 1 car tries the same move but ends up spinning off the car in front and hitting a marker tyre. Luckily for Tom the tyre straightens him out and he carries on. Caution for the stranded 16 car. 541 leads the restart. 55 and 212 trade hits into turn 2. 217, 1 and 55 go through turn 4 three wide in a great display of skill. A couple of laps later 212 puts up a strong fight against the 1 car which has them both passing and repassing for position. 212 comes out on top and pulls clear. 197 passes third place 259 with a nudge into turn 1. 7 to go sees Ryan take 541 down the back straight for the lead. 1 pulls off with a flat left rear. 55 makes a successful challenge on 217 in turn 3 to take 3rd place in the closing laps.
  5. Pit News: 1 - Porta power in the cab. 268 - Stripping both rear shockers down. 525 - Adjusting rear panhard rod mounting. 211 - Phoebe doing a spot of panel beating on the left rear cab panel. 515 - Binnsy also wielding a hammer but on the diff casing.

Consolation Catch Up: 319 leads away. 308 and 446 are battering their through from their respective grades. 11 goes around in turn 2. 115 holds the World Champ up going down the back straight which allows 515 to close in. Tom takes a wide line into turn 1 and 515 goes past up the inside. The positions are reversed a couple of laps later however. Frankie loses another position to his son when the 555 car sweeps by in turn 4. Upfront the 93 car is in the lead and holds on to it following a green and one lap finish following a late race caution.
  7. Pit News: 163 - Both front and rear axles hanging off. 24 - Changing gear set. 1 - Slight damage to the right rear rollcage. Dave Riley and Tom in discussion about the fix. Looking likely to weld a small plate in place. 93 - Welding right front corner. 20 - Rear left shocker mount bent round. 5 - Changing the rad. 515 - Frank welding the right rear nerf support.

Heat Two Happenings: 319 leads away. 326 spins out in turn 1 on the first lap. 11 and H575 lock together in turn 2 leaving Neil stuck on the Dutchman's bonnet. 1 gives 217 a sideways shuffle exiting turn 2 and blasts it down the back straight entering turn 3 full on sideways. 197 catches the 1 car going down the homestraight and puts the bumper in entering turn 1. Tom rides out the hit. Caution for stranded cars. 389 leads away. It's a battle of the SSJ cars as 446 fires 502 hard into turn 1. Next lap sees 55, 191 and 1 come to grief on the entrance to the back straight and lock together against the fence. Caution called for the JCB's to disentangle them. 389 leads them away once again. 197 has a brief tangle with 319 through turn 3 but gets past eventually. 5 and 555 end up in the turn 3 fence. 55 and 217 join them a lap later but continue. 5 to go sees 541 leading with 197 getting ever closer. 3 to go and Ryan takes the lead unchallenged down the back straight.
  9. Pit News: 308 - A severely bent front axle to sort. 2 - Tightening up the brake bias adjuster attachment bracket. 414 - Clutch change in op. He's due out in Heat 2. 78 - Porta power on the front axle. 212 - Check tightening the prop-shaft bolts.
  10. Welcome to the Euro weekend folks. Heat One Happenings: 115 leads away. 308 launches all the 'B' grade in front of him into the turn 1 fence with a monster hit. 463 & 216 tangle in turn 2. 211 has 212 go up the side of the car in turn 4 delaying them both. Caution for 115 stuck in turn 2. 18 leads the restart. 2 is the first red to show until H229 comes on the scene. He puts in two decisive hits into turns 3 and 1 to pass the Rotherham man and set off in pursuit of the 18 car. 515 and 16 are making inroads and gradually close the gap to H229. 259 gets rid of 308 with a hit into turn 3 but goes wide himself. 515's right rear lets go. 4 to go sees 229 pass 18 for the lead which he extends over 2nd placed 16 to claim the win.
  11. Thank you both for posting these. The results were announced very quickly in reverse order but were hard to hear, and they weren't repeated. It was too busy to go down to the results board as leaving your spot proved difficult to get back to it ⛔

  14. GN Notes: 343 leads away but drifts towards the turn 2 fence. 124 pulls off on lap 1. 346 and 191 tangle and hit the turn 2 fence and remain there. At the same time a slowing 211 gets collected by her brother on the back straight. JJ is left in a dangerous position. Caution flag. 166 goes around in the middle of the pack on the home straight but avoids being collected. 484 bounces off the turn 2 fence. 1 shifts 16 with a hit into turn 3. 300 and 551 are away up front. 8 helps 492 through turn 1 with a well timed hit. 464 is passed by 1. 20 takes 16 with a hit into turn 1. The top boys are not making any progress in catching the leaders. 464 re-takes 1 for a half a lap until Tom hits him wide to pass once more. 551 gets clouted by the 11 car after passing the flag. The car is launched over the marker tyre ripping off the front left wheel.

  17. Final Focus: 295 leads away. 381 goes around in turn 4 in a clash with 124 which leaves them stranded on the inside line. Caution flag. 489 heads the restart. 2, 217 and 464 trip over each other exiting turn 2 and lose time. 1 gets past 197 before mid-race. Ryan attempts a re-pass entering turn 1 but misses and slides wide on the oily surface. Race leading 489 slows and 300 sweeps past for the lead. 543 catches and passes second placed 551 at 4 to go. He surpasses that with a quality-from-far-back last bender on the 300 car entering turn 3. Drew blasts it across the line for a well deserved win.

  19. F2 UK Championship Top 3: 183 Charlie Guinchard 3 Liam Rennie 647 Chris Burgoyne A cracker of a race. Early leaders 7 and 992 taken out with a monster hit from 527. Guinchy launches him in the restarted race and sets sail for the victory from a close following Liam. The closing lap sees Jon Palmer fire Micky Brennan in hard to the turn 1 fence. Post race antics from the pair follow with hand signals and a front bumper to front bumper clash 👍

Raymond Gunn Tribute Race Top 3: 277 Jack Grandon 811 Kieran McIvor 207 Greg Honeyman A simply awesome last bender from Timmy Barnes 131 saw him going skywards up the side of the race leading car. The spectacular move ended up taking both out of the reckoning leaving the top 3 to take advantage of the clear track which opened up before them. Another classic finish from the Saloon boys 👍
  21. Consolation Result: 124 - 295 - 489 - 217 - 484 - 73 - 346 - 87 - 147 - 381 - 11 - 191. First 10 qualify from this, and the earlier races.

Consolation Catch Up: 295 leads away. 283 and 343 both slow on the rolling lap and take an outside line for a couple of laps. 452 pulls off with a flat right front. 526 does likewise with a flat right rear. 191 and 242 tangle exiting turn 4 which sees Joe reaching for the sky after hitting an infield marker tyre. 492 & 195 have an altercation with 19 and the turn 2 fence a lap later. 295 and 489 have set sail up front. 124 gradually closes in and takes 2nd place from 489 into turn 3 with 3 to go. Harrison tries a comeback move into turn 1 but ends up going straight on. 1 to go sees Kyle take the lead from 295 entering turn 3.
