GN Notes 414 leads the field away. 20 goes around in turn 3. 150's leathering it around bouncing it off the fence from the lap handicap. 338 tries the wall of death around turns 3 & 4. 545 is away up front with a chasing 12 and 1 behind. 1 into the lead by halfway. One lap to go sees 545 spin it in turn 2. 12 and 16 make it into the top 3. That's it folks, back from K.L 👍
  2. Pit News 127 - Replacing right rear shocker. 1 - Adjusting rear links. 526 - Adjusting right rear top link.
  3. Final Focus 548 leads the field away. At the back 1 has a couple of unsuccessful goes to pass 16 in the opening laps. He eventually gets by a couple of laps later. 150 is on a mission to get to the front as he barges 335 and 463 aside entering the back straight. 545 is away and clear up front for now. 526 pulls off with a flat right front. With 5 to go the 150 car has caught the leader and sets sail for the victory maintaining the gap to the World Champ. 16 decreases the gap to 1 over the closing laps. I think the 150 car likes the Brafield shale!
  4. Pit News 345 - Loaded up. Low oil pressure. 373 - Right rear nerf end being cut and welded. 545 - Right rear bumper end bent back. Sledgehammer being wielded prior to welding up. 150 - Changing gear set. Car revving too high down the straights but not moving forward quick enough. 12 - Replacing the bent front axle after being given the big'un by 150 during the race.
  5. Heat Two Happenings 548 leads the field away. 21 pulls off early on. 150 puts a big hit in on 12 entering turn 1 which also collect 526. Michael retires to the infield with a flat front right. Finn stays put stuck on the outside of the turn. 16 passes 1 up the inside of turn 3 after Tom takes a really wide line at full throttle. 463 is leading with 5 to go. 338 and 1 tangle and lock together in turn 2. The World Champ loses a couple of laps. 150 is getting closer to 463 but loses the place to a fast moving 16. James is home and dry for the victory with a decent gap to Mat.
  6. Pit News 414 - Porta power on the front right corner. 345 - Lost oil pressure during the race. 127 - Right rear shocker broken at top end. 150 - Engine running rough. Timing check ongoing. 20 - Slightly bent front axle. Porta power on the case. 463 - James changing left stub axle.
  7. Hi folks from an exceedingly sunny Brafield. Heat One Happenings 545 leads away the field. Lap 1 sees a big group of cars slide into the turn 3 fence. 12, 32, 20, 169 and 127 all involved. The second start sees 32 pull off with a flat right front. 373 and 268 spin out in turn 3. 335 and 289 do likewise in turn 2. 326 is making inroads to the front and takes the lead from 545 before halfway. 150 pulls off. 373 spins out into the turn 3 fence backwards. Dale bounces out as the 1 car rounds the bend. Tom catches the back corner and loses time whilst he gets back up to race speed. 4 to go sees 16 close in on 326. 1 to go and Mat takes the lead off Sarge. Mark tried to defend the position but Mat forced his way through.

GN Notes 452 leads away. 464, 515, 212 and 166 all go barreling into turn 3 with some big hits on the opening lap. 443 trips up 20 entering turn 1 which leaves Liam facing the wrong way. 345 goes around in turn 1. A spectacular crash on the exit of turn 2 leaves 164 balancing half on top of the fence and half on the 1 car. 524 also involved is left with a mangled wing and cab side panel peeled back. Caution flag. 452 leads on the restart. 48 sends 5 wide into turn 1. 543 leads with 4 to go from a chasing 515. 191 and 242 tangle in turn 2 leaving Josh facing the wrong way. 515 gets past 543 in turn 4 on the last lap to claim the victory.   12. UK Open Final Focus 295 leads away. Chaos into turn 3 with a big push from 166 which drives 48, 11, 464 and 124 up the fence. Next time round the 1 car is pushing 166 sideways through turn 4 with 212, 242 and 191 stuck on the outside. Caution flag. 327 leads away. 166, 20 and 295 pull off on the roller. 1 is way ahead of the rest of the star men even at this early stage. 212 and 560 lock together on the inside of turn 1 and lose laps. 36 clashes with 492 in turn 2. Jordan pulls off with a flat front right. Ashley then has a coming together with 524 which leaves her stuck on the outside of turn 1. 16 slows towards the end. 1 passes the leader 283 with a number of laps to go. Tom had an unassailable lead and with oil on track nobody could make any further inroads.

  14. Heat Four Happenings 13 leads away. 295 and 13 tangle on the back straight which catches out 11. Caution flag. 327 leads away. 16, 560 and 166 engage in battle with 8 joining in with a hit on 166 into turn 1. 346 stops against the turn 2 fence. The remainder of the race sees a tremendous battle between 560, 8 and 166 trading hits on every lap. A lap to go sees 1 take the lead from 492. The last corner sees 560 fire 8 into 166 going through turn 4 to claim the position. Tom Harris (1) wins Heat 4. 1st. 1, 492, 48, 36, 25, 381, 16, 524, H124, 327, 11, 175, 560, 8 and 211. DNF: 295, 12 and 346.

Heat Three Happenings 307 leads away. 242 piles em' up into turn 3 on lap 1. 5 eases 464 wide in turn 1. 20 takes 464 and 212 with one hit into turn 1 on the next lap. 120 performs a huge roll into turn 1. Casey all ok. 78 leads the restart. 551 maintaining position near the front despite a hit from 242 into turn 3. 515 comes through to lead. 464 and 543 trade blows until Luke fires Drew hard into the turn 4 fence. Frankie Wainman Jnr (515) wins Heat 3. 1st. 515, 511, 5, 212, 555, 242, 191, 20, 464, 326, 127, 443, 226, 401 and 78. DNF: 2, 124, 87, 120, 307, 452, 368, 543 and 164.

Gearbox u/s. 8 - Porta power on front left shocker mount. 175 - Straightening the front axle. 211 - Lug snapped off the back of the engine/bellhousing. 12 - Replacing front right corner steelwork. 551 - Patching up a hole in the left side engine cover. H124 - Changing front right spring.

Heat Two Happenings 13 leads away. 120 spins on the back straight. 12 and 175 go flying into turn 3 and bounce off the fence. 20 gives 551 a big hit into turn 3. 5 does likewise to 2. 560 then comes in with a big'un on 5. 2 comes back through the field. 5 and 560 continue their battle over the closing laps. 36 has checked out up front for the win. Caution flag. 307 leads the restart. 259 pulls off on the roller. 1 gives H124 a big'un into turn 3 and 515 into turn 3 a lap later. The leading duo of 543 and 381 battle through turn 1 at halfway which lets 1 into the lead. Pit news cont: 5 - Working on the front right corner. 212 - Changing prop. 327 - Replacing panhard rod. 526 - Working on the prop. 166 - Welding front bumper bracing. 197 - Not racing owing to damage from last night. 19 - As above. 300 - Paul tweaked his back during the week. Went out in practice yesterday which aggravated it so giving it a miss this weekend. 543's the only car left standing in the Harrison team so plenty of mechanical help for Drew today! 415 - Also not racing today. Back axle went in the GN last night.
  22. Morning folks from a sunny Skeggy for the UK Open Championship day. At the moment the plan is four heats(subject to car numbers), Final and GN. A two from four format with the top 32 points scorers qualifying for the main event. Pre-meeting pit news 48 - Changing half shaft. 12 - Porta power on the front left corner. 191 - Diff strip in op. The main cap has snapped off the axle. 120 - Replacing a very bent front axle. 19 - A bent front axle, sheared off links, shocker mount broken and nerf rail bracing snapped off are a few jobs that need sorting. 259 - Front axle change. 197 - Not unloaded as yet.

GN Notes 443 leads away. 48 goes around entering the home straight on lap 1. 447, 307, 524 and 19 spin out and tangle together in turn 4. 120 rolls it on the back straight. 415 leads the restart. 5 is the first red in the pack. 1 fires 166 and 211 into turn 3 but gets it back from the following pack of star men entering turn 1 which leaves him stuck on the outside line. Caution for a big crash between 147 and 19 at the end of the back straight. 415 leads off the restart once again with 464 the first red in the queue. 20, 515 and 16 all fly into turn 3 with bumpers going in hard. 415 stops on the exit of turn 2. 5 goes round turns 3 and 4 on two wheels wall of death style. 20 spins out in turn 4. 166 stops in turn 3. 515 gives 175 a hurry up into turn 3. 339 has kept clear of the chaos to claim the victory.
