  5. BriSCA F1 12th September meeting Following the BriSCA F1 event last month we were saddened to have to follow that meeting up with a negative post regarding reports of stadium and official abuse. This month however, we are very happy to post the complete opposite; an impeccable response both sides of the Stadium. We’re pleased to report; Stadium and staff well respected along with Covid19 measures well observed around the raceway. We would like to thank the Fans and Teams for their co-operation and response. We look forward to seeing the BriSCA F1’s back with us on the 26th September, urging and reminding everyone that now more than ever we all need to work together to ensure meetings continue, be respectful and be Covid19 responsible. Thank you again, as always, for your support. 🏁🏁
  6. A huge thank you to everyone all sides of the fence for joining us and Startrax last night. A superb night of Stock Car racing, we hope you enjoyed it. All the support is truly appreciated. The meeting report by Mark Paulson and results from last night can be found on the website. http://www.stockcar-racing.co.uk/info/results/2020/saturday-12-september.ashx Apologies if anyone attempted to buy an anniversary badge and found them sold out, demand far exceeded our expectations on these and they sold out very fast; we will be having another batch made, so keep an eye out for when we have these back in stock. 8. It’s more important than ever that we are all Covid19 responsible and do the right things to keep ourselves and others safe. Racing might seem like normality, but it shouldn’t feel normal - there’s extra policies in place around the Arena to help keep the Venue “Good To Go” in combating Covid19. There’s no secret about it – without these rules and policies in place we simply cannot open. So please; help us to stay open and follow these around the Raceway. Remember this event is SOLD OUT. Advance ticket only, no pay on the day sales. Please be Covid19 responsible when visiting us: Wear face coverings if not exempt by Government Keep to social distancing Wash/ sanitise hands regularly. Check out more detailed operating policies on our website http://www.stockcar-racing.co.uk/content/news/kings-lynn-covid19-measures.ashx Hi CC; the booking list is updated with just one change this evening, unfortunately F1 506 has withdrew, no additions.; meaning we have a great 40 F1 Stock Cars and 59 F2 Stock Cars are booked in. 9. Today marks 65 years since the first Stock Car event at King’s Lynn – a special, limited production, commemorative metal pin badge has been produced to mark the occasion of racing at Saddlebow Road since 1955. How good does it look too! Available to purchase tomorrow at the turn 1 trackshop trailer for just £5!
  10. 🏁 On this day 65 years ago 🏁 Stock Car racing came to King’s Lynn for the very first time – 11th September 1955 – the site of a Greyhound stadium and staging a handful of Speedway meetings prior to the arrival of four wheeled Motorsports. Fewer stadiums have undergone such a drastic transformation since the start than King’s Lynn, virtually un-recognisable today. Very little information or pictures exist from that first meeting, but Local Driver and former World Champion – Bob Reeve of Dereham took the Feature Final that day. The F1 Stock Cars race tomorrow in their 165th Official meeting at the track – will another local driver take the chequered in this Anniversary weekend? BriSCA F2's joining them in a big BriSCA Double Header Photos: First programme cover Bob Reeve's circa late 50’s/ early 60's. (credit unknown)

  15. Abuse of Officials/ defacing facilities - 22nd August meeting Following a fantastic couple of Banger meetings at King’s Lynn since we restarted racing where drivers, fans and teams have been respectful of the stadium facilities, staff and the measures we have put in place for Covid 19. It was disappointing to note that the return of BriSCA F1 Stock Cars has been overshadowed by a small minority of people, with problems the venue always suffers when this formula is on, with a lack of respect from a minority of team members and fans. Staff and officials were verbally abused, with one of our colleagues even disgustingly being spat on, when requesting someone put their mask back on. Our team members on both the drivers and public side of the stadium reported having to deal with rude patrons who had no respect for the venue with some of our team now saying they will only work when Bangers are on and refusing to work for the remaining F1 meetings. Despite regular cleaning, some of the facilities in the stadium were also left in a terrible state the likes of which do not happen at any event at the stadium apart from when F1 Stock Cars are on. It is a small minority of people who come with the formula that this message is aimed at. However if you are a driver, team member or fan who thinks the rules at the stadium do not apply to you or you think you have the right to be abusive to people working at the venue or you think it is your right to damage / deface facilities here then please stay away. If there is a repeat of this behaviour next meeting, then the remaining F1 meetings in 2020 here will be cancelled. We would like to re-emphasise that the majority of drivers / team members / fans from the formula are a pleasure to deal with and are people we love to welcome to the Adrian Flux Arena. There is though no excuse for the behaviour of some people which does not occur when other formulas race at Trackstar or from other sports that take place here.
