I don't think that's even possible? 36 in the WF plus 24ish in the World Consolation, and you're already at 60 cars. 20ish for another heat, and it's a minimum of 80 cars. I don't think the question that's been asked has enough detail, we need at least a ballpark figure of how many F1s the "restricted" number is. e.g. 120 F1s plus 25 saloons is a different proposition to 80 F1s and 40 saloons. That said, I'm not all that bothered either way, and I'm going regardless. It's the F1 World Final, innit?
-
But I think that's ticking both boxes, not one or the other. It does raise the question, if it's loons as well, then how many F1s would there be?
-
That's a tough one from this fan's point of view. F1s + Saloons = awesome. Mega 100+ F1 meeting on shale = awesome. For me, the sticking point with restricting F1 bookings is that unless you get very lucky with the amount that want to race, then you can end up turning drivers away from the main event of the year, at the same time as letting drivers from another formula in, which doesn't seem quite right to me. If it was me, I'd be asking how many extra people will come through the gates if the saloons are on, compared to big numbers of Dutch drivers, and the coachloads of fans they bring with them?
