This is the meeting for our sponsorship launch. sometimes the reason for the caution clears itself just as the flags start waving. How many times has a track cleared itself of cars at exact moment that the yellow comes on. Its nothing to do with creating drama as as a previous race marshall I feel offended that you think it was done deliberately just to close the cars up.

its a nightmare. I usually do Blackpool to Coventry on a saturday in approx 2 and 1/2 hrs. But when I used to marshal and we had a friday night banger meeting on the same journey took over 4 hrs. From wigan down it was always jam packed. Unfortunately there is no way I can get down for Friday as cant get the time off. Will be there Saturday though.

We have this same thread evey single month in season. THEY DONT ISSUE BOOKING LISTS. who really cares. 60-70 means most top drivers will be there plus a load of whites yellows and blues. If you are not going just because your favourite driver isnt racing, then maybe its time to watch something else.

Thanks for clearing this up. I wondered why Sarge & Nigel where in the final having only raced in heat 3. Am i correct in thinking that no reserves are allowed in the final on a world championship qualifying night? I think that is correct. No reserves allowed in meeting final when it's a world qualifier.
