In my humble opinion 1/2 the spectacle of our sport is the ability to get close up to cars drivers etc in the pits. If charging to get in pits starts it will be another step to oblivion for our sport.

Think colin is correct about number of meetings re shale v tarmac. This will be fixture 15 and only 4 have been on tarmac. As rule of thumb you do get more damage at shale meetings so obviously the money pot to repair is a bit empty. Also higher number of engines either blown or still being awaited from engine builders after referbs/repairs which will be mainly shale car engines

Belle vue has built up a "local" fanbase who are there for bangers. The crowd, in my opinion, usually seems to be larger when bangers are on as support. The 4 formula for me isn't a problem

If enough cars for me it's 2 hts consi etc. 2/3 could result in lower car numbers for final and GN depending on damage. It might not ( before someone gives examples) but it could. And our sport is about all the drivers not just the shootout.
