Well, I've just arrived at the campsite 7mls away - and it's absolutely torrential here!

Looks like this will be a cracker of a meeting. However we have Celtic at home this weekend, with the added incentive of spoiling their Championship winning party, so football on Saturday for me! But I will make Bellevue, so not too shabby!

Just back in sunny West Lothian after a gentle saunter back up the road from Brafield (didn't bother with Buxton). Thoroughly enjoyed the meeting as is normal with Northampton, defiantly up there as on e of my favourite tracks. Don't understand those that only live a few miles away but can't be bothered turning up for fear of a low turnout? Loved the standing start with the Superstox, thought this made an impressive start - would love to see the F1s try the same method. Might stop a few of the jumpers.... Highlight for me was watching Rob MacDonald win the final. 800 mile round trip to watch a guy who lives about 3 miles from me! Haha!

Looking forward to this too - first tar of the season for us! Anyone know if theres anywhere nearby for a Motorhome? Given the distance, we normally only get to Northampton for the Euros, so can pitch up in the field next door. Im guessing this isn't the norm for lesser meetings!

I'm currently restoring one of these old ladies - would loved to be able to have put a wee offer in, even just for the glass... Unfortunately I am just too far away.

looking forward to this one! It will be my first time at Venray, planning on taking the Motorhome across from Scotland. Infact it will be my first time taking the motorhome across the channel! Is it ok to camp at the track etc and is the track near anything of interest? (we might end up staying an extra day or two!) Thanks in advance.....
