  1. Just in from Saddlebow road after a well run meeting that was all done & dusted by 9.00 pm. I must state that I enjoy reading the race reports within the results service. It is an added bonus to just having the results. Many thanks to all concerned.
  2. Yes, Mr. Cruncher of Carrots, I along with many others would love to see King John of Clitheroe get back onto the Norfolk Arena shale. As I said a couple of seasons ago I would love to see the King of Clitheroe take a win at Saddlebow road. I also volunteered my services to help replace the back /pits side stand roofing when the great man wins a race. OK, the stand would be a bit short of spectators during these strange times but I'm sure he would get a great reception.
  3. You got chucked out 3 times ?? I'm surprised you even got a second chance. Bad news for you Mr. Carrot, I got my ticket at 12.15pm. Memo to self.. Do NOT order any food that requires a Tomato sauce relish. See you there..
  4. As this is my local track & I was there despite all the problems we have in this mad World. I always like to check the results when I get the chance. Thank you very much to ALL concerned. It's been a long lay off & we all welcome you back.
  5. I did not know Mick personally , but used to see him at many meetings. I always find it sad to hear of the loss of one of our Stock-Car family. Condolences to his family & friends. RIP Mick.
  6. I was there tonight & managed to keep up to date with bits & pieces that you good folk manage to bring to us . Many thanks as usual & get well soon Jane
  7. How'dy folks, looks like my mate Carrot Cruncher has been learning the American lingo. A tyre is now a tire. Hope he doesn't buy one of those American Racers as it may not fit.
  8. Great results service again. Well done to Mat Newson scoring good points. King John also shaking the rust off.
  9. Well that's this Saturdays entertainment sorted then. What with the return of Mr. Boxoffice 150. Craig Finnikin 55. along with Nigel Green 445. I have no other choice than to venture 17 miles to Saddlebow Road. We just need a certain Lancashire farmer to book in & we can expect another bumper crowd. The appearance of Mat Newson 16 on the safer side of the fence will also be welcoming sight.
  10. I along with many others have been waiting for this news for a long time. Will Saddlebow Road stadium roof be able to stand the pressure with the appearance of the people's champion.
  11. Great win by Nigel considering he was not in the line up. Lol.. Many thanks for the results as usual..
  12. Well I have read these comments in detail. Therefore I have decided NOT to go to either of these meetings & it is possible that I will also abstain from the World Final as well. I'm sorry that it has come to this BUT that is how it has to be for me & possibly many more fans.
  13. Despite Carrot Crunchers best efforts on post 6 on this thread, I notice 390 Stuart Smith Jnr. has NOT booked in for this meeting. Therefore with this warmer weather I sure we can expect to see the water cart put in a lap on two. At least it will keep the neighbours happy if NOT some supporters.
  14. Many thanks for the great results service as ever. Steven is a great addition to the team. Cheers.
  15. Thanks once again for your great results service to those of us who could not be there or choose not to go. Cheers.
  16. Just In from this fantastic meeting BUT I still have to check the results on here. Many thanks to all concerned.
  17. I have made local enquiries & apparently the bridge will be closed until 18th May. Therefore those of you traveling from the Sleaford & Wisbech directions will have to take the double back to the Saddlebow roundabout. Safe traveling.
  18. You needn't stand near us others if you think we are worse than you. Good luck Viper Dave. Enjoy your visit to Saddlebow Road .
  19. The Saddlebow roundabout is due to reopen any time soon. I will check & get answer back on here asap.
  20. Many thanks again Jane & Nic for keeping those of us who had other things to do well informed.
  21. There is cover on the pits bend & along the start/finish straight. Don't forget to get in the queue early for your Fish & Chips.
  22. Phil Cal, As Carrot Crunchers Sat Nav deputy. I would suggest you go the route that you mentioned..A17 to K/Lynn. A10 to Tottenhill roundabout. Then first exit off onto A134 to Stradsett & continue on A134 to Mundford. Take A1065 through Brandon & continue on A1065 to Barton Mills roundabout, then take 4th exit into Mildenhall. I'm sure you will now see signs to the stadium. There are other routes that you could take but you would be best to stay on the MAIN roads. Local knowledge is a wonderful thing. Good luck & safe travelling.
  23. Many thanks again for a great service. (Just in from K/Lynn Halloween banger meeting) where there was a crowd that would challenge the F1 World at Foxhall !!
