Just in from a brilliant nights racing at K/Lynn. The meeting was run very slickly with very few delays, that is probably why the F1 final was on so early. Full marks for the results service as usual. Thank you. Now off to put my clock forward. Night every one.

Well Mr. Carrot Cruncher I think it's about time you put your hand in your deep pocket to bring out enough wonger to buy me a pint. I'm sure Buster won't mind his shale going down my throat IF you are making the purchase. Like many of you on here I won't be going to spectate at Swaffo unless there is BRISCA V8 power bringing music to my ears. I don't know why Spedeworth choose to try & compete with the likes of King's Lynn & Mildenhall with formula that no one wanted to watch. Several years ago they dropped the 2ltr Saloon Stox. What a dissaster that proved to be. Every other promoter who choose to put them on their programme had bigger gates almost overnight. Then when it was too late Deane Wood tried to reserect the formular. OK they have got several registered drivers BUT not as many as he would have had if they had not dropped them in the first place. Ok, it was not all Deanes doing that they went. I think the major problem with oval racing is that taking ALL promotors overall there are too many classes racing. I bet the King's Lynn booking list will look a bit more healthier on 18th & 19th September. But then again it's one of those double headers that "some people " don't like as it's too expensive, what with having to stay out overnight.

I'm planning to go all the 5 miles from my home to Saddlebow Road. The added bonus is that I will get to meet up with that Carrot Cruncher again. He can then insult me in person rather than doing it on here.

Perhaps Murray will score enough points in his heats to get a good grid position for the final.

Spoke to Mat Newson (who had his car on display in K.Lynn town centre again). Told him that I expect at least 2 wins from him on Saturday night. He said he will do his best to oblige.

K.Lynn weather report. It's just turned mid day here near Saddlebow road, & we have had a quick shower of rain. If it doesen't get any worse the track will be in good condition.
