  1. Can you get in all the other pits then, going back in time you couldn't get in Bradford or the old Bellevue
  2. I'm not a fan of it being changed to shale but saying that after last year's rubbish it seems like he has turned it round so he has done well, charging to go in pits sounds wrong but it's better than not being allowed to go in. I wonder though if it was still tarmac would the amount of drivers/spectators be the same? The answer would be like that has already been stated somebody ought to ask drivers and fans why the low turnouts
  3. My dad's just got back and he was one of the biggest critics of how bad the meetings were and he said it was a good meeting,so it must be good.I personally haven't been since the shale went on as I was a fan when it was tarmac,it was the first time I've missed the euro's for many years.
  4. I assume that IF the shale is the same as kings Lynn it must of been relaid possibly during winter.
  5. Thankyou team for the excellent results for Friday and the weekend. And also do like the added info on what's happening in the pits
  6. I'm a bit confused as lee is 26 and defending champion which means he was 25 when he won it and the championship is under 25 shouldn't it be called 25 and under or im I being picky unless of course his birthday is on that particular date
  7. I have noticed in an earlier post of drivers who are eligible to race in under 25 yrs doesn't have charlie sworder's name on am I missing something as I thought he has raced at least 3 times and even if he hadn't it states 29 drivers who are eligible haven't done the required amount yet
  8. SEM just a reminder for you it starts at 5.30 now
  9. Thanks for the results and updated points if it's any consolation your team still played well!
  10. You do a fantastic job with the shootout rounds I hope the disappointing scoreline won't affect how quickly you put the results on as I'm a Derby fanπŸ˜†πŸ˜†
  11. Perhaps that's the other place he raced at aswell as buxton stav
  12. I assume 84 not booked in due to 10 day stand down if the powers that be think he was knocked out at buxton
  13. Bang on Colin need to leave it until Friday before take any notice been good reports that the track has improved but i expect that any sign of showers will still put people off because what it was like without thinking showers are ok and it was very heavy when it was like a bog I doubt it will be like that again from the improvements Deans team has done
  14. Unfortunately I will have to rely on the excellent service provided on the forum for details as I'm another one that won't be going due to banned seats due to the minority that abuse the system with over the top seats(armchairs) and spread themselves out with blankets bigger than the average lawn(bad knee and several operations that haven't worked).Incidently my type of seat is the tripod type that fits in my backpack and takes up hardy any room.I'm guessing the amount that won't be able to go now there should be enough room for everyone, but to the fans that do go I'm sure it will be a really good one.
  15. Does anyone know if the latest shock and roar book is being sold at the euro's please
  16. Great news if he can make it and yes true dedication. Not the only one dedicated though anyone who works full time, family ties and hours of repairing and prepping and any spare money for self financing as not everybody manages to get help from sponsorship all get a thumbs up from me
  17. I agree not having tom there won't make the meeting not as good just he's one of my favourites and dishes it out like many others, mind you all the drivers deserve full support without them no-one would be going.I just hope the track stands up to it,I do prefer tarmac racing but don't blame Dean trying it out(hednesford my favourite shame only 1 meeting a year)!
