  7. Tbf did anyone got to the big banger meeting in June because they had the same rules then m was they inforced
  8. Not an easy question to answer I am afraid.I would guess at 16 or 17 races on the Saturday night - standard 5 race format for F1, 5 heats and a final for F2, and either 5 but more probably 6 heats for Saloons. Working on an assumption of 3 or 4 races per hour then it should all be done and dusted by 10pm. However, this is usually a very brutal meeting for Saloons which could result in delays and fence repairs so it could be after 11 by the time it finishes. The old days of early Sunday morning finishes seemed to disappear with the shale. Hopefully not too thinking about coming if home for 1/2am lol normal time I finish work on Saturday anyway
  9. What time normally does Saturday night racing finish !? Because Ive got to travel home n Im working next day
  10. Im thinking of going just for the Saturday because working the Sunday but what time does I normally finish Saturday night racing ?
  11. They say this every year about food but do they actually check now ?? They said it for semi final but I had a cool cx with me
  12. Also are they still doing students price as seniors like normal startrax meetings ??
  13. Fingers crossed I can go tomorrow working even tho asked for it hoping for early finish n speeding it over moors to manchester
  14. Startrax m Getting closer - 2018 BSCDA British Championship @ Belle Vue Sunday 1st July As the week has gone on, bookings have continued to come in and as at Wednesday AM 45 are now entered - Latest bookings include Superstar Tom Harris taking the opportunity to accommodate UK fixtures with his USA Sprint Car schedule - and determined to challenge FWJ from a record number of wins - We are particularly delighted to see World Champion Nigel Green on the grid [ I believe his first shale appearance 2018 - i stand to be corrected ] add to that the pedigree of a grid including Super Power Stuart Smith, three family members of team Wainman's vying, 515,555 and 211 plus of course crowd favourite Danny. From Norwich we have Matt Newson whose commitment is undoubted and his pace currently is awesome and deserves success. Rare visitors Paul Hines and Mark Gilbank - and Bradley Harrison and of course Lancashire hard charger William Hunter and Bolton's Stealth fighter Lee Fairhurst and last but not least another all too rare visitor this year due to work commitments, popular Derbyshire ace Dan Johnson. Add up the remaining entries and lower graders who will be equally motivated for success - on paper this is a cracker! A great number of drivers have made a credible commitment to the 2018 British travelling some miles such as Mick Rogers, Tim Warwick and Colin Nairn to name but 3. The man as yet unmentioned to watch will undoubtedly by 94 John Dowson who just lives for the 'big occasion' at Belle Vue - the rougher it is, the more the challenge for this popular North Eastern driver and he might just, on past experience, prove the man to beat around the red hot shaleway!
