  1. Pit News 1 - Gearbox out. 150 - Trying to diagnose the misfire. 502 - Wire burnt out between the MSD and ignition following the hit on 150.
  2. Heat Two Happenings A big coming together between 25, 93, 289, 127 and 45 down the full length of the home straight sets the scene on lap 1. 45 pulls off with the loss of the left front wheel. H410 is flying through the field. 150 puts a monster hit in on 502 entering turn 1 but can't shift the Wizard who rides it out. Mick then gives him a big'un into the left nerf rail exiting turn 2 and gets the position. Following a caution for a stranded car in turn 2 H410 takes the lead. 415 spins 22 around in turn 2 but hooks up with him and loses time. 150's engine starts missing and with Mick slowing into turn 3 502 sees his chance for a payback hit. He slows and pulls off with mechanical trouble after the hit as Mick does likewise. 215 spins out in turn 2. Jelle takes the win.

Heat One (GN Championship) Happenings 515 sets a blistering pace from the get go with a pass around the outside of the 1 car at the drop of the green. 166 piles into 16, 217 and 1 entering turn 1 and then repeats the move into turn 3 sending Mat wide along the fence. 197 comes up to engage the 1 car in a multi-lap battle with no quarter given. 166's earlier action drive results in a right rear letting go entering turn 3. Ryan has got the better of Tom and creates a gap. 217 and 55 lock together momentarily in turn 4. 515's left rear brake disc is glowing orange from halfway as he negotiates the backmarkers. 197 gets held up passing 338 into turn 3 which allows 1 to close up. Ryan guns it though and maintains his advantage. FWJ is never headed however and takes a well deserved victory.
  4. Hi folks, welcome to Saddlebow Road. W & Y Race Recap 496 leads the field away. 45 and 87 tangle in turn 1. 345 spins in turn 3. 588's debut race ends with a flat front right. 372 and 278 collide in turn 3 and get collected by 502 next time around. After a caution period it's 496 still in front with green + 3 laps to go. 345 chases 215 into turn 3 making light contact with Geoff's bumper but Jake ends up spinning out. Neil claims the flag to flag victory.

GN Notes H880 and H410 both pass 55 at race start. 1 starts the charge through passing 217 and 166 with ease. 55 clips 238 entering turn 1 which ends up with Rich hanging off a fence post which brings out the red flags. At the restart H410 leads off from 55 who both bounce around the turn 1 fence. 1 gets a flat right rear but carries on. 212 does likewise but pulls off soon after. 217's wing collapses but he also continues. 55 takes the top spot from H410 and reels off the remaining laps unchallenged. That's it folks, back from Sheffield.
  6. Final Focus 137 leads the field away. 1 passes 217 and 16 in quick order. 87 hits 137 into the turn 3 fence which brings out the red flag to move Sam to safety. It's a Netherlands top 3 within a lap of the restart with H710, H62 and H410 blasting round the Odsal bowl. 212 stopped on the turn 3 run off. Red flags fly for a rollover from 93 just past the starter. Sam climbs out all ok. 55 starts behind the three H's and fires H62 into turn 1 which he ends up tangling with after H62 bounces back onto the racing line. 1 and H410 also pile in and get delayed. A great battle follows between 1 and H410 over a number of laps with both trading hits. 1 breaks clear and sets off on a demolition job on anyone he comes up behind. Bobby G gets introduced to the home straight plating as the World Champ blasts past. 16 has a flat right rear but continues. The race leading H710 tangles with 175 down the back straight and hits the stationary 463 at full chat. Red flags fly again. Restart with green and one to go with 515 and 217 at the front. Two great last benders from 217 on 515, and H410 on 1 but both fail to claim the places and bounce along the fence. The race finishes with 217 having a wild ride along the infield with 515 alongside to just claim the win.
  7. Consolation Catch Up H62 takes an early lead. 191 puts a big hit in on H410 entering turn 3 which also collects H880. The 1 car arrives on the scene and ends up beached on the turn 3 run off area in the deep shale. Red flag for a stranded 556 at the pit gate. H62 leads off and builds a gap to the rest. 45 and 216 clatter off each other through turn 3. A lap down 1 is now on a charge and closes up behind H62 as the red flag flies for a stranded 235 broadside in turn 3. The restart sees H62 away once again. 55 bounces off the turn 2 fence. H410 gives 45 a hurry up exiting the back straight which sees Nige spin out. 55 has caught H62 and takes over the top spot. H410 comes through for 2nd but is too far back for a last bender. 1 attempts to gain a place from the 21 car in turn 4 but Mark just holds on over the line.

Heat Two Happenings H710 takes an early lead with a great turn of speed considering the track conditions. 44 has a baptism of fire with a wild ride through turn 1. 45 and 502 tangle on the back straight. 53 bounces around the fence through turns 1 and 2. 544, 34 and 502 pile up exiting turn 2 which causes a red flag inducing track blockage. The restart sees H710 take off and build a huge lead with a great drive. 45 and 34 clash on the back straight. 424 holds up the flying H710 which allows 217 and 16 to close the gap. 53 has a wayward line through turn 4 which delays 259. 526 stops on the exit of turn 2. 217 hits the turn 3 fence. 34 whacks 259 into the turn 3 fence. Meanwhile H710 has increased his lead and takes a well deserved victory.
  9. Hi folks, welcome to Odsal. Heat One Happenings Get yourselves a brew for this one! 137 leads the field away as H410 slides wide into the turn 1 fence and pulls off on the back straight. H62 makes good use of the conditions to force his way through the cars in front. A complete track blockage at the end of the back straight involving all grades brings out the red flag. 137 makes a good break on the 2nd start. 87 and 335 tangle on the back straight which ends up with 216 spinning across the entrance to turn 3 and becoming stranded on the racing line. Another track blockage exiting turn 2 involves 238, 87, 556 and 524. Red flag to remove 216 to safety. The third start sees 137 lead with H62 applying the pressure and going through into turn 1 when Sam goes wide and bounces off the fence. At this stage 515 is the first of the Shooters to show. 1 and 216 tangle in turn 1 which sees Tom spin out and remain on the run off area. 212 spins out in turn 3. 55 catches up with H62 and makes a move up the inside of turn 4 but is held back by the determined Netherlands 'B' grader. Eventually Craig makes it past into the lead. Another track blockage exiting turn 2 catches out 515, 175 and 55 bringing out the reds one more time. At the fourth start the leading 55 car fails to get going and comes to a stop in the middle of turn 1. 175, 166 and 87 come to grief just past the starter. 515 sets sail into a big lead as the reds fly again for the blocked start straight. The fifth start sees 515 and 87 break clear and run the remaining distance up front. Phew!!

  12. GN Notes 73 and 289 tangle in turn three. 5, 2, 124, 463, 21, 20 and 496 all pile in bringing out the caution. The restart sees 169 lead off. 345 pulls off soon after. 326 and 555 lock together on the home straight. 45 and 124 do likewise in turn 3. The remaining laps see some great dicing between 55 and 1 who trade places lap on lap. Up front 525 sets up a last bender on race leader 169 which results in them tangling entering the home straight with Billy ending up on his roof just before the line and Nigel facing the wrong way. Tom who was in 3rd place takes the treble with the victory. That's it folks for today. I'm giving K.L a miss next weekend as doing Taunton/St.Day so i'll be back from Odsal in two weeks 👍

Final Focus 197 sends 515 wide into turn 3 on the opening lap. 45 pulls off followed a lap later by 345. 73 and 346 go around in turn 2. 5 and 1 making good inroads through the pack. 12 v 1 through turn 2 with Michael not giving an inch. 335 gets a tankslapper down the home straight and ends up facing the wrong way round but avoids getting collected by the following cars. 515 spins in turn 4. 478 rolls it in turn 3 after encountering 235 and 515 on the outside line. Before the restart 166 pulls off with a flat front left. 515 pulls off. The restart sees 268 lead the field. 55 gives 197 a hit entering turn 2 and takes the place. 1 leads at halfway. 268 hits the turn 2 fence and is collected by 197 and 217. Lee subsequently pulls out with a flat right front. A false restart sees the 1 car hit up the back by the following 169 after the green isn't shown. Shortly after the restart proper 21 puts a monster hit on 346, 525 and 5 entering turn 1 which sees Charlie rattle the fence. 12 spins exiting turn 2. 20 and 289 go around down the back straight. 21 pulls off with a flat front right. The World Champ claims the win with 55 a safe distance behind.
  14. Pit news after the Consi 216 - Gearbox u/s 463 - James is using another of Mat's cars today as his own didn't sound right in the GN at Mildenhall last night. Not worth risking the engine. 392 - Power steering pump keeps throwing the belt off. 124 - The team working on the prop shaft.

Consolation Catch Up 216, 463 and 555 all try for the same line through turn 1 bouncing off the fence. 93 and 87 tangle exiting turn 2 and head towards the infield before gaining forward momentum. 515 spins in turn 2. 197, 217 and 16 circulate as a high speed train. 526 spins in turn 3. 389 and 45 head the field until 3 to go when 197 comes through for the win.
  16. Pit news after the Heats 346 - Gearbox out. 25 - Bellhousing bolts keep coming loose. It'll need the engine out to sort it. 326 - Propshaft change. 235 - Front end damage to sort. 93 - Welding left rear corner. 16 - Front right corner welding up. 345 - Changing collapsed shocker. 5 - Charlie's using his dad's car today as his own is having some work done on it.
  17. Heat Two Happenings ( Steve Froggatt Memorial) 295 leads away. 345 pulls off on lap 1. 415, 124, 234, 389 and 235 end up in a heap in turn 3 bringing out the caution. The restart sees 407 head the field with 525 taking it a lap later. 93 and 22 clash in turn 4 with 25 piling in. 45 and 12 engage in battle until Nige spins off the back bumper of the 12 car in turn 3. 326 slows and comes to a stop in turn 2. Meanwhile 525 is long gone for the victory.

Hi there folks welcome to Brafield Heat One Happenings ( BSCDA Trust Fund Race) 381 and 392 battle at the front at the drop of the green. 20 and 21 get shoved off the racing line at opposite ends of the track and clatter the fence. 526 spins in turn 3. 16 hits the turn 1 fence with the help of the following pack. A lap later 515 and 16 clash in turn 4 with FWJ pulling off with a flat front right. 1 and 197 making rapid progress through the field. 5 is now leading as 217 spins in turn 4. 1 takes the lead from 5 going into turn 3 with an inside broadside move. 197 pulls off with a flat. Following a caution the restart sees 16, 526 and 463 pile up in turn 4. 555 pulls off with a flat front right. The rest of the field maintains position for the remainder of the race. 166 also has a flat front right with one to go.

  20. GN Notes 1 makes a rapid start and makes up a number of places on lap one. 343 stranded on the backstraight brings out the caution. The restart sees the 5 car ahead of some superb entertainment from the Shootout drivers with hard hits traded between 515, 217, 1, 166 and 16 over the following laps. Caution flies as 217 ends up on a post on the exit of turn 2. The restart has 242 up front with 464 in 2nd. In the closing stages of the race 197 makes his way through to the top half of the grid. 242 has a right rear let go with a couple of laps to go. Some classic last bend action sees 515 into 1 who sends 283 and 5 into a turn 4 post. 464 takes the win. A great weekend's action yet again from Skeggy. That's it folks. Back from Mildenhall 👍
  21. Final Focus An early lap tangle in turn 3 between 191 and 48 narrows the track and 489, 127, 307, 595, 326 and 339 all end up in amongst it which brings out the caution. 327 leads away on the re-start. 464 and 197 are on their way from the back. 197 removes 464, 8, 492 and 295 in one hit into turn 3. A battle between 515, 1 and 217 ensues for a number of laps. 464 spins 2 out in turn 3 who pulls off soon after with a flat left rear. After a caution period 36 leads from 415 and 197 with 4 to go. 515 takes 217 and 16 up the inside of turn 3. Next lap 16 passes 217 into the same corner. 197 has by now taken the lead from 36 and claims the win.

Consolation Catch Up 381 piles into 20 entering turn 3 on lap 1 and spins himself out. 128, 489, 132 and 312 collide on the exit of turn 2 with Turbo Tomo jacking up the 132 car and ending up underneath. A full re-start sees 345 shunted into the stationary 556 and 13 cars in turn 1. At the opposite end of the track 43 and 211 lock together on the exit of turn 4 which collects car 9 as well. 489 heads the re-start. 343, 346 and 591 tangle entering the backstraight which leaves 346 up the fence and 591 on his side. The re-start sees 120, 12 and 178 crash out in turn 2. Casey batters his way free and puts a monster hit in on 178 into the turn 3 fence. 36 and 489 trade places up front for the victory.
  23. Heat Three Happenings 451 and 381 spin in tandem exiting turn 2. 204 hits the turn 1 fence at high speed and bounces around turn 2. 492 and 327 battle for the lead up front. 422 is the first red to move forward. Caution for a stranded 381 on the backstraight. 492 leads off the restart and holds it until race end. 5 goes wide into turn 3 and loses places to his fellow star men. 166, 48 and 422 trade places for a few laps until settling into an evenly spaced race finish.
