Newly-wed Mal Brown tangles with 163 in turn 4. Both take a wild ride down the home straight. 35 holds up 587 momentarily allowing the 1 car to edge closer. By 3 to go the gap has decreased significantly. Sam drifts wide through turns 3 & 4 coming to the last lap which sees Tom through and away for the win.

Pit News 127 - Cutting front left corner off. 326 - Porta power on the front axle. 175 - Engine breathing oil out. 238 - Changing left stub axle. 44 - Welding front bumper bracing. 53 - Bent axle end on right side.

Heat One Happenings 235 leads off. 175 puts a hit in on 491 and 463 into turn 3 on the opening lap. 238 leads after lap 2. 515 the first of the back row men to show. 44 spins and stalls in turn 1. 100 parks in parallel to him. 515 gets 127 sideways in turn 1 and close following 53 straightens him up. Caution for the stranded 100 car. 515 leads the restart with 212 and 53 behind. 463 spins 238 out in turn 3. 259 whacks 53 in turn 3 with 5 to go. 515 away and clear for the win.

GN Notes 19 leads away. 346 fires 175 into turn 3 on the opening lap. 464 and 515 move through the field with some good hits to make up the places. 259 puts a hit in on 19 to take the lead. Jon slows soon after. 1 makes up the places from the lap down with some blinding speed. 259 takes the win to cap a good night for Paul. That's it until tomorrow folks 👍

Final Focus 19 leads off. 5 starts the ball rolling with a hit on 172 into turn 3 as Charlie makes a break from the 'A' graders. 1 gives 464 a hurry up hit into turn 1. 16 does likewise to 259 in turn 3. A big pile up in turn 1 brings out the caution. 128, 211, 524, 464, 212, 526, 515, 16, 164 amongst others get caught up in it. 19 leads the restart. 1 moves 5 aside into turn 3 and sets off after 19. 543, 172 and 124 end up in a heap in turn 1. 1 soon catches and passes the 19 car to take the lead. Caution for stranded cars. With the World Champ at the front of the restart nobody was going to match his speed and take the challenge to him for the top spot. 515 hit 16 aside into turn 1, with 526 doing the same in turn 3. 19 and 555 crash out in turn 2 with 346 running into the pair. A high speed dash to the victory flag followed with most of the field equally spread out.

Consolation Catch Up 524 leads away. 548 gets out of shape on the homestraight and ends up being pushed sideways by 401. Both stop mid-track. As Mark makes a move to the outside a fast approaching 141 clips the car which spins it around to leave it stranded at the end of the straight. 492 moves 175 aside with a decent hit into turn 3. Karl's steering wheel then comes off as he goes down the homestraight. A bounce off the fence, and the infield marker tyres sees his race done for. 526 and 543 are having a good battle up front. With a number of stranded cars the caution is called. 526 leads the restart but is passed by 543 into turn 1 before they swap places again. 212 hits 211 into turn 1 with 120 doing likewise to Danny. 141 piles into the back of 120. All get going except 120. The last lap sees 543 try a last bender on 526 from a very long way back but doesn't get close.

Pit News 8 - Welding right rear link bracket and nerf rail bracing. 175 - Karl and Terry have got the porta power on the front right corner to straighten out the damage from the 543 hit.

Heat Two Happenings 452 leads away. 211 puts a big hit in on 501 and 5 into turn 3. 212 out with a flat right rear. 452 and 307 head the field. 175 fires 543 into turn 1. 464 and 1 take the top two places. The last lap sees a super hit on 175 from 543 entering turn 3.

Welcome to sunny Skeggy. Heat One Happenings 19 leads away. A few laps in sees 8 battle her way back past 515 only to half spin in turn 1. A lap later a coming together in turn 2 between Catherine and 191 leaves the 8 car on top of the infield tyres, and Josh stranded facing the wrong way on the back straight racing line. This brings out the caution. 19 still up front heads the restart. 124 gets eased aside by 515 and 16 shortly after the green waves. 120 puts a big hit in on 526 entering turn 3 which sees Finn pull off with a mechanical failure. 124 closes in on 16 in the closing laps but not enough to pass. The last lap sees 120 make hard contact with 381 in turn 4 which sees them both take a wayward trajectory over the finish line. 19 kept it up front for the win from a closing 515.

GN Notes 545 leads away. 211 spins in turn 3. 249 spins at the entrance to the back straight. 191 and 47 pull off with right front flats. 1 is coming rapidly through from the back. 166 hits 463 into turn 3. James collects a big marker tyre which ends up bring hit by 259 on the homestraight. 5 comes to a stop on the outside of turn 2. 235 gives 12 a hit going into turn 3 which Michael repays at the opposite end. The closing laps sees the race leading 289 putting up a solid defence of his place against the World Champ. Tom takes a wide outside line and eventually gets past. That's it folks. Pit News 525 - Back axle and mountings have suffered major damage after 326 ended up being pushed underneath the back end at the head of a train of cars. 1 - Front bumper upright sheared. 11 - Bent front axle, links and shocker. 326 - Front bumper upright bent back.

Final Focus 32 leads away. A combined push from 515 and 2 sees the 1 car stuck on the top rope of the fence in turn 1 on the first lap. 249 and 259 pull off with flat front rights. 525, 326, 191 and 11 pile in to the 1 car on the next lap bringing out the caution. All ok. 32 heads the restart. 166 puts a big hit in on 25 and 555 entering turn 1. 32 has an off in turn 1 which sees 502 take up the lead. 47 stopped on the outside of turn 1 brings out the caution. 502 heads the field on the restart. 2 half spins it in turn 3 losing time. 166 gives 515 a whack into turn 1. FWJ repays it by spinning Bobby out halfway down the back straight. 12 and 338 lock together and career onto the infield just making light contact with the parked up 1 car. 5 now in the lead reels off the remaining laps with a very mature drive to complete the double.

Pit News 548 - Front left shocker mount sheared off. 235 - Gearbox out. 78 - Right hand stub axle change. 25 - Fuel pump changed. 216 - Coil bracket snapped off during Consi.

Consolation Catch Up 78 leads away. 587 pulls off with a flat left rear to join a few other fancied runners on the infield. A caution for a stranded car in turn 1 sees 259 at the head of the field. Within a couple of laps of the restart 326 takes the lead from 259. Paul sticks the bumper in on Sarge going into turn 3 on the last lap to retake the lead and the victory.

Update on 197. Ryan's loaded up but no physical damage to the car apart from the wing. The engine's lost a lot of oil so they're going to sort it properly back at base.

Pit News 515 - Changing the gear set. 319 - Panhard rod mounting bracket sheared off. 373 - Welding right front corner. 25 - Fuel flow problems. Pump investigation the first job. 548 - Bleeding the brakes. 197 - A squashed wing is the only apparent damage following the roll.

Caution for a stranded 235 against the home straight fence. 32 leads the restart. 197 passes 515 with a hit into turn 1. 259 follows through the gap until FWJ retakes the position into turn 3. 127 and 169 tangle into turn 3. 32 and 216 have broken clear at the front by halfway. 259 and 502 lock together exiting turn 4 and end up on the infield. 5 to go sees 216 take the lead as 197 gets ever closer. A superb end to the race sees Ryan do a last bender on 216 which sees them cannon into the turn 3 fence. With Jack going backwards down the homestraight 197 rolls it trapped between the fence and the left side of the 216 car. Both are short of crossing the line. A very amused Charlie Sworder travelling behind takes the victory.

Hi folks, welcome to Brafield. Heat One Happenings 407 leads away. A multi-car pile up in turn 1 brings out the caution. Cars 211, 78, 407, 319, 83, 373 and 392 all involved. 545 leads the restart. 346 backs it into turn 3. Race leading 545 spins out in turn 1. 25 and 16 in the first two spots. 16 pushes 25 wide in turn 1. 25 spins unaided in turn 1 next lap. 1 comes from a long way back to close the gap to the 16. A lap down 319 sticks to the inside line which delays 16 momentarily. Sheldon does the same to the World Champ. 1 passes 16 into turn 1 shortly after with Mat drifting wide.

All the star men charge down the backstraight bouncing off each other. 515, 21 and 463 pile up in turn 1. 515 pulls off soon after. 212 and 242 exchange hits for a couple of laps before Danny gets shunted off in a cloud of blue smoke. The leader 587 is hit by 47 entering turn 1 but Simon ends up spinning himself out. Sam takes the win and gives 166 a hit into turn 1 to finish the night off. That's it until tomorrow folks 👍

Final Focus 32 leads away. 463 goes around in turn 2. 197 is on a charge with 16 close behind. 463 and 11 come together in turn 3. 216 and 372 lock together and hit the fence at the entrance to the homestraight. Colin stays put which brings out the caution. 587 leads the restart. 249 puts up a good defence against 197 and 16. 555 and 346 clash on the back straight which brings out the caution as Ashley's car is in a dangerous position. 587 has 197 and 16 in his mirrors for the restart and both pass him cleanly once the race is up to speed. 211, 73, 83 lock together in turn 1 which brings out the yellows once again. 197 and 16 head the restart. 21 gives 555 a hit into turn 1. 249 goes for a spin in turn 4 which catches out the 555 car. Mat keeps Ryan honest to the flag and keeps in close but not in position for a last bender.

Fair bit of front end damage so heading home to fix it for Northampton. 326 - Changing prop. 407 - Panhard rod and right rear shocker u/s. 11 - Porta power on the front axle. 197 - Continuing with work on front end with a stub axle change. 345 - Loaded up with a dropped pushrod.
