  3. Stock Cars Onboard Footage Compilation DVD for sale, £5 each with £2 from each sale going to the Under 25’s Championship Race Fund, in memory of Dave Leonard. Working with AMG TV each week, using my own camera equipment to provide dynamic onboard footage for the Premier Sports TV coverage, I get a lot of footage from the cameras at each televised meeting. Only a small amount of this makes the weekly show of course and the onboard footage is great to watch. Also due to the hard hitting nature of our full contact sport, I also get a lot of broken Go Pro clamps and mounting parts which need to be replaced on a regular basis. These are very expensive as I often have to buy a bag of replacement parts just to get the two small parts that I need to get the adjustment angles on the clamps. Several drivers recently asked me for a copy of their onboard footage which I am of course happy to oblige so I decided that rather than doing individual DVD’s for each driver, I compiled and edited a lot of onboard footage onto one DVD compilation. The finished DVD comprises 26 separate chapters which amount’s to 2 hours of onboard footage. I have or will be giving a copy of the DVD to each of the 15 drivers whose cars the camera’s were fitted to that appear on the DVD. With AMG TV’s blessing and permission, I am able to offer copies of the Onboard Stock Cars DVD compilation to anyone that wishes to purchase a copy for £5 per DVD. £2 of each sale is going to be donated to the Under 25’s Championship Race Fund in memory of Dave Leonard as I feel it’s a nice way to give a little something back to the race that Dave put his heart and soul into organising each year. The remainder is going to be used to replaced the damaged parts that I use each week as I am down to minimal parts left after a few destructive races / Finals recently. (I actually lost the camera at Coventry the other month and was fortunate to get it back still in working condition after it spent half the race sat on the inside kerb at Coventry, the protective case was smashed however.) If anyone is interested in a copy of the Onboard DVD Footage, please send me a message ahead of an upcoming race meeting so that I have time to write the disc’s and bring them to the race meetings with me. I will be at Sheffield 31st July, Coventry, Buxton, Birmingham ? and Belle Vue in August. The DVD features the following onboard footage, either highlights or extended clips with yellow flag periods removed. Chapter 1 – 7 G Moodie – Cowdenbeath F2 Final, June 2016 Chapter 2 – 445 N Green – Cowdenbeath Final, June 2016 Chapter 3 – 217 Lee Fairhurst – Cowdenbeath GN, June 2016 Chapter 4 – 217 Lee Fairhurst – Cowdenbeath GN, June 2016 Chapter 5 – 445 N Green – Cowdenbeath Heat 1, June 2016 Chapter 6 – 21 Mark Gilbank – Sheffield Heat 2, April 2016 Chapter 7 – 202 Henry Hunter – Sheffield Heat 2, April 2016 Chapter 8 – 34 Mal Brown – Sheffield Heat 1, April 2016 Chapter 9 – 886 C Bradbury – NIR Superstox Final, April 2016 Chapter 10 – 196 Murray Jones – NIR Heat 1, April 2016 Chapter 11 – 231 D v Spijker – Coventry Heat 1, May 2016 Chapter 12 – 231 D v Spijker – Coventry Final, May 2016 Chapter 13 – 390 Stuart Smith – Coventry Heat 3, May 2016 Chapter 14- 217 Lee Fairhurst – NIR Final, October 2015 Chapter 15 – 390 Stuart Smith – Buxton Heat 2, October 2015 Chapter 16 – 94 John Dowson Jnr – Coventry Heat 2, June 2016 Chapter 17 – 218 Rob Speak – Belle Vue F2 Final, April 2016 Chapter 18 – 217 Lee Fairhurst – Buxton Heat 1, October 2015 Chapter 19 – 202 Henry Hunter – Buxton Final, October 2015 Chapter 20 – 53 John Lund – Birmingham Semi Final, August 2015 Chapter 21 – 390 Stuart Smith – Birmingham Final, August 2015 Chapter 22 - 53 John Lund – Birmingham Consolation, August 2015 Chapter 23 – 217 Lee Fairhurst – Birmingham GN, August 2015 Chapter 24 – 390 Stuart Smith – Kings Lynn World Final , Sept 2015 Chapter 25 – 78 James Rygor – NIR Heat 2, October 2015 Chapter 26 – 33 John Bartlett – Coventry F1 Heritage Final, June 2016
  4. Unfortunately Henry Hunter has lost interest in the sport at the moment. I hope its temperary as he's a very talented driver and would be missed if he decides to pack it in.

  13. CSC Motorsport Photography - 2015 Stock Car Calendars, various star drivers available to order. Having produced a calendar for the Fairhurst team for the past several years, I have decided to offer a range of calendars this year, each tailored to separate star drivers. The calendars are full colour, professionally printed on good quality card type paper and measure 11 inches x 8.5 inches when closed or twice the size when hung open on the wall. The main image size on each month measures approximately 9 inches x 7 inches so is suitable for framing afterwards if you wish to do so. On some calendars though, a few months may be split into a large vertical photo with two smaller pictures alongside. I have searched back through my extensive collection of stock car photos from over the last 10 or so years and selected the highest quality on track / action photos of each driver for the calendars, so unlike the other stock car calendars which feature photography from the last 12 months, these will feature photos of the drivers in the different cars that they have raced as well as their latest stock cars. The Lee Fairhurst calendar will be a this season photo selection however, as will the Will Hunter one for obvious reasons. These make great Christmas presents or maybe just treat yourself. Driver calendars available to order now are as follows. 2 Paul Harrison, 4 Dan Johnson, 12 Michael Scriven, 16 Matt Newson, 22 Will Yarrow, 53 John Lund, 55 Craig Finnikin, 84 Tom Harris, 107 Lee Robinson, 150 Mick Sworder, 191 Joshua Smith, 212 Danny Wainman, 217 Lee Fairhurst, 220 Will Hunter, 259 Paul Hines, 318 Rob Speak, 388 Paul Ford, 390 Stuart Smith, 391 Andy Smith, 464 Luke Davidson, 515 Frankie Wainman Jnr. The cost of each calendar is £12 including delivery in the UK. I can only offer them at these prices for a limited period as the order for calendars has to go in by 12th October after I return home from Belle Vue. Calendars are printed to order and will be delivered either by post in plenty of time for Christmas or in person at a remaining BriSCA F1 fixture. I can accept payment via BACS transfer, cash at Belle Vue, Cheque or PayPal, using the e mail address csc24@blueyonder.co.uk as the recipient. Please make sure to include your name, address, e mail and a contact phone number (Mobile preferred) as well as your choice of driver that you wish to order in the message field on PayPal. It is also advisable to e mail me confirmation of your order details as well. I can also answer any enquires via the same e mail address above. Below are screenshots of the calendars showing The Cover through to November of each calendar, for technical reasons these don’t show December but they are in the calendars. Still to come are 55, 107, 212, 217, 220, 515
  14. Sunday August 24th will see the fourth running of the Ormskirk MotorFest, an incredible event where the small Lancashire market town is literally transformed into a huge race and classic car / bike show for the day. Over 300 Race, Rally and classic cars (and Motor cycles), of every description are usually at this event which is organised by Aintree Circuit Club in conjunction with West Lancs Council. Following the huge success of last year, the stock cars are back again with a bigger range of 16 cars booked in to represent the Sports 60 year Diamond Jubilee. There will be nine Heritage cars, alongside a selection of modern era F1's & F2's plus Hot Stox who are also celebrating their own 30th anniversary season. In the afternoon, the public roads are closed and the cars are allowed out for a series of parades on a street circuit set up around the town. Unfortunately, this won't be as spectacular as the recent Coventry MotorFest as there are no specific racing areas set up, but the sight and sound of a group of stock cars running on a public highway is still quite unique!! There were 25,000 spectators at the event last year with even more expected this time, so it's a perfect platform to promote our beloved sport to a wider audience. This isn't an ''official'' event, it's organised by a group of supporters & drivers just trying to spread the word. It's also a fun day with many other activities on hand for families and kids. You can check it all out on www.ormskirkmotorfest.com or search for plenty of YouTube clips from last years event. Thanks for your time. George Rimmer

  16. The idea behind this book was to produce a record of Lee's rise from an F2 novice through to becoming World Champion in 2012. I was originally aiming for around 140 pages but by the time I had finished it had grown to 200 pages. The book was presented to Lee on New Years eve and he now has something to look back through both now and in future years. Anyway the book took so many hours to do both going through thousands of photographs and then many days sat on the PC putting the book together that it would be a shame not to let it be enjoyed by others as well. Massive thanks to all the other photographers that helped me out with photographs to fill in the gaps from the meetings that I didn't attend. I could have produced the book with only my own photos, but it wouldn't have been anywhere near as complete as it is with their excellent photos included. All contributers are credited in the book. An 84 page preview made up of a selection of the 200 pages can be viewed at the following link and there is also more info on the content of the book on that page. These books are printed to order and posted from Holland,so although profit is only a small amount, I have decided that 25 % of any profit from the sales will be put back into Lee's / Team Fairhurst's racing. http://www.blurb.co.uk/bookstore/detail/3925631
