Just to play devils advocate for a second, as far as I'm aware there has never been a GN at the Gala. Can't remember if it has previously been scheduled for this or not but if so, perhaps it was a mistake? Having only been able to attend a handful of meetings this year for one reason or another I'm just hoping it's a cracker.

After the recent and successful drivers Q & A night at Nigel 45s Barston Lakes last month, Bruno (David Brown) of B & K services fame has volunteered to organise a karting event. The event will take place at: Sutton Circuit Sutton Elms, near Broughton Astley Leicester, LE9 6QF on Sunday 25/08, 11:30am for a 12 noon start. Bruno has also arranged for stew/curry to be on at his local pub. Entry to the event will cost £40 + a small contribution for the food at the pub. Bruno has run quite a few of these events at this venue, it's a super outdoor track, several drivers will no doubt be in attendance and a warm welcome at Bruno's "local" is assured after the event I'm sure. Complete shale car as raced by Ivan 434 , smithy built chassis,406 small block refreshed 1 meeting ago. Recently purchased by Wes Goodwin (295) but due to change in circumstances car back up for sale. Will come fully re-bumpered and nerfed + can be painted in any colours required + signwritten (subject to further negotiation).
