  1. http://www.standlakearena.co.uk/points.html Then under the 'statistics' tab it has every meeting and car turnouts for each class. There are V8 meetings listed for 2005 and 2006 in there.
  2. The Standlake 2007 meeting was on 9th April according to their points archive. 20 car turnout. That's the only date listed on their website so not sure if the meeting was moved or if a later one was cancelled. 328 was a race winner: http://www.wurzle.co.uk/photos/standlake/2007/9-4-07/pages/100_1034resized_jpg.htm As was 473: http://www.wurzle.co.uk/photos/standlake/2007/9-4-07/pages/100_1155resized_jpg.htm Given the layout of the photos on that site I'd say 328 was heat 2 and 473 the final. Cannot see a photo of anyone else with a chequered flag.
  3. Mine arrived this morning just before I left for work. Looks a very impressive book and now that I have tomorrow off I can spend a bit of time reading it. Made me chuckle when I saw the foreword / introduction was written in 2002. Definitely a serious project!
  4. Standlake - you bring whatever food and bring in you want. There is also no bar there. They are obviously viable without the overhanded approach. Plenty of other tracks manage just fine. I have no problem with tracks taking a 'Don't take the mick' approach to food and drink, but forcing people to buy a grotty burger and warm bottle of Diet Coke or go without, is not the way to do it.
  5. What I want to know is, if the 1 x sandwich and water only rule (as it reads), is being enforced, then what options are they going to provide? What do people who don't eat meat get? Chips cooked in the same grease as the meat? A packet of crisps from the track shop? No thanks. Also, the daily recommended water intake is something like 8 pints. Given how hot the weather is at the moment, it should be even more than that. Are they going to let someone bring a 5 litre bottle of water with them? Don't bite the hand that feeds you to pay for your shiny new pit gate.
  6. So it's really 34 booked in then going off that list!
  7. I would hardly call a deliberate and unprovoked follow in a "great hit!"
  8. Great racing, lovely weather and 90 f1s for less than £9. What else can you say?!
  9. Anyone heading over for this? First time I've ever been and making a long trip to include the regular Venray visit a week later. Booking list here: https://www.aconautocross.nl/races/startlijst/
  10. Pay on the gate at the 'Welcome Centre' when you arrive. Booking lists on the Venray site have been updated. I make it 21 UK F1's, 15 F2's and 30 Minis going over.
  11. There's someone else out in the One's (well as far as I know they're still racing), but they're not on that list.
  12. Under 5 - Free 5-15 - Kids Prices ... well that's what it normally is!
  13. It's £12 to get in as long as you produce a student card. Just go in through the OAP turnstile and flash your card
  14. I'll have one off you mate. Catch you at Brafield next Saturday?
  15. Finally had time to watch the Incident 3 DVD.. cracking stuff as usual Definatley worth getting, the footage is top notch and at a great price too. (Do I get a free one now? )
  16. I'll have the Incident one off you again mate. Any chance you're gonna be there tomorrow and I can have one off you then, or are you just posting them out this time?
  17. Bought one at the weekend but only just got round to watching it. Great footage and definate value for money. Put me down for the next one already
  18. I'll have a word with the old man when he gets in
  19. Does anyone in the area (Northampton / Milton Keynes / Daventry) have space for me to keep a Sierra for a few weeks? Have 2 cars but only have room at home for one of them, and struggling to find space for the second. Anyone have anything at all it would be a huge help.. let me know. Cheers
