The Media, The Radio, the Social Networks…….everyone’s been buzzing about it and it’s finally here, the 2017 Motorsport News Thunder 500 Meeting at Foxhall Heath Stadium, Ipswich – home for the 2017 Brisca F1 World Final, followed by another day of Brisca F1 action here at Northampton International Raceway. This coming Sunday 18th June, we play host to an absolute feast of top class Stadium Motorsport. We have the mighty, all action, and no holds barred Brisca F1 Stock Cars, National Ministox and Stock Rods to make for an afternoon at Northampton International Raceway the whole Family simply won’t forget! The Brisca F1 Stock Cars will be dusting themselves down from their World Championship Qualifying Round at Ipswich the previous night Today, there’s no World Qualifying points, it’s all about prestige, setting a marker, dialling the car in, claiming that Trophy and testing the N.I.R. tarmac in readiness for the European Championship and Spedeweekend on Saturday 15th and Sunday 16th July! Don’t forget Brisca F1 Fans, the 2017 Championship of the World on Saturday 16th September is looming quickly and tickets are selling fast too so be sure to purchase yours asap to save disappointment. The mighty Brisca F1 Stock Cars are always a massive hit at N.I.R, literally, when they pay their regular visits here on a track where they can unleash some of the immense power of their Chevrolet V8 Engines. F1 racing on Tarmac is always fast and frantic, Lee Fairhurst, Tom Harris, Dan Johnson, there’s so many quality star Drivers in the Formula right now chasing for that chequered flag. Hopefully, we should also have a visit from the famous Wainman and Harrison Families together also. Don’t forget the mighty Brisca F1 European Championship and Spedeweekend takes place on Saturday 15th and Sunday 16th July at our Northampton International Raceway and that’s another great weekend to pencil into your Diaries! Adding to our Motorsport feast, we have the National Ministox who just last weekend held their British Championship at Sheffield Raceway. The title went the way of Catherine Harris making it a hattrick of Female victories after Courtney Witts won the last two titles back to back! The National Ministox always fly around Northampton and are one of the most competitive Formulas on the ovals so make sure you don’t miss their races! To complete our line – up we have the Stock Rods a fortnight ago they competed for their World Championship at Aghadowey Northern Ireland won by, Northern Irelands Marc Morrell. Expect the usual group of Dean O’Dell, Chris Woods, Andy Sturt and we even have Chris Latkka travelling many miles from Carronshore all wanting to be in contention for this one.
