Statement from Startrax Manchester Arena Atrocity - Update & Belle Vue event Monday 29th May As announced Tuesday AM Startrax expresses it's deepest condolences for the victims, families and all affected by Mondays atrocity and our thoughts first and foremost are with them and we ask you to join us Monday paying our respects. Currently Greater Manchester Police are asking people to be alert and to report any suspicious activity on the Anti-Terrorist Hotline 0800 789 321 or by dialling 999. Anyone who may have images or footage from Monday night that may assist the investigation should upload them to Ukpoliceimageappeal.co.uk or ukpoliceimageappeal.com. Whilst at Belle Vue Greyhound Stadium we already have a fully trained security team working with us for your safety, we must remind all visitors Monday that in line with major event stadia we have revisited our security policies. As in major sport stadia you will be required to be searched, along with any bags that you bring into the stadium. We cannot over emphasise that this is undertaken for the safety of everyone as well as your own and we very much appreciate your cooperation. We would politely suggest you arrive in plenty of time to allow for these additional checks to be undertaken. Turnstiles will be open from 2.pm Note: Startrax provide stadium parking at a nominal price available from 1.15.pm and Parking ABSOLUTELY FREE on Showcase Cinema opposite. Those wishing to use Showcase facilities for parking MUST enter the car park via HYDE ROAD - NOT Kirkmanshulme Lane as a one way system within the car park exists. Also, this car park is huge, please DO NOT park up on grass verges on Kirkmanshulme lane as this could lead to the withdrawal of the concession We have put together a great event and look forward to welcoming you to Belle Vue

Press release from Trackstar The bank holiday weekend at the Adrian Flux Arena begins with three stock car formulas in action on Saturday night (27 May, 5:30pm). The Big League makes its third appearance of 2017 at King’s Lynn. Surprise final winner last time out was 21 Mark Gilbank. Can he reproduce that form this weekend? 21 Mark Gilbank was the final winner last time out - can he produce a repeat performance on Saturday There was also a pair of wins for national points leader 390 Stuart Smith Jr. The Adrian Flux Arena may not be the personal favourite track of the 2007 world champion, but that doesn’t stop him being the man to beat although his early season winning form does appear to have been halted with an upgrading to Superstar. Chasing Smith hard in the points are current world champion 1 Frankie Wainman Jr, who has one win at the track so far this year, and last season’s revelation 445 Nigel Green. Wainman will of course be joined by younger brother 212 Danny and son 555 Frankie Jr Jr. Danny went as well as he ever has done at King’s Lynn in our last meeting, and came second in the final, so will be looking for similar – or one better – this weekend. 212 Danny Wainman had one of his best meetings at King's Lynn last month Other frontrunners are likely to include Norfolk’s own 16 Mat Newson, 55 Craig Finnkin – who looks to be returning to his best on the loose – and the man Finnikin succeeded as world champion, 84 Tom Harris. Outside of the really big names, 207 Ben Hurdman and 348 John Wright were both race winners last time out, while King’s Lynn specialist 335 Mark Woodhull is likely to be a threat even from his new red top starting berth. 207 Ben Hurdman was amongst the race winners last time out Having just celebrated his 65th birthday, 215 Geoff Nickolls is still going strong, but will be hoping that his mechanical maladies of the past two meetings are now behind him. Continuing to learn the formula after making his debut at our last meeting, former National Banger superstar 18 Ritchie Ahern Jr could be one to watch. Following his debut last month 18 Ritchie Ahern Jnr could be one to watch as he looks to get to grips with BriSCA F1 Funfair Rides All the fun of the fair will be at King's Lynn on Saturday with the hugely popular Helter Skelter making a reappearances. The good news for mum and dad is that this is free for the kids to go on as often as they like!
