A fair few - you'd got to two full heats first, before you got to 3. The actual numbers vary according to the size of the track and the whims of the officials on the day, but the race formats (in order of number of cars) are: All-in (2 heats, all cars go in all races) Two-thirds (3 heats, each car goes in 2 of them - hence there's two-thirds of the total cars in each heat) Two Heats (2 heats, each car goes in one of them, plus a Consolation) Three Heats (same as Two Heats but with Three Heats) This is for 'normal' meetings. Special meetings, like certain championships, have their own format.

Booking list updated this morning - no changes on the F1 front, still 37 cars.

Press release from Startrax: Holiday Monday at Manchester's Belle Vue on paper looks the best of the season! The Big Boys are back in town with an entry close on 40 of the awesome BriSCA F1 Stock Cars, one of the Vue's biggest entries. We are into the serious stages of the 2017 National Points Championship with Round 2 of the series as the journey unwinds to the finale in November. The entry list is a who's who of the BriSCA F1 world and one the best quality entries for some time. Monday's combination sees the electrifying BriSCA F2 Stock Cars in attendance - Again big number with well over 40 booked including supremo Gordon Moodie and some top class masters of shale to beat. And, as it's a Bank Holiday, something completely different and new to the Vue, Big Van Bangers for their own World title and with entries in double figures these are certain to entertain around the Vue's tight but fast shale oval! Three great race divisions from the Power & Glory of F1 Stock Cars, the sheer buzz of sideways full on, full contact action with BriSCA F2 and the downright 'wacky' with the Van Banger Warriors! It's all happening at Belle Vue Stadium Manchester M18 7BA This Monday - Admission simply all pay at the gate, credit and debit card facilities - Disabled friendly [ sorry no dogs other than guide dogs due to local licensing laws ]

I'm going to guess that Sam Makim is related to Martin Makim, who owns/drives the Jim Esau heritage car. Ian Clayton is the son of 143 Colin Clayton. He's had a car for a while but think he had some problems.

JJ is not racing all weekend. He is otherwise engaged.
