We are just a handful of days away from the V8 Hotstox world Final. The 30th running no less hosted by Coventry Stadium on Saturday 5th October alongside the F1’s and 1300 Saloons. 32 competitors including two Dutch entrants will take to the track and battle for the gold in what could be the biggest and best World Final race for some time. For those unaware also, an extra fixture addition, Sunday 6th October at Coventry, the Bob Radforth Memorial race. A great weekend of racing ahead. The Dutch drivers will be F1 drivers; H6 Pascal Spigt and H393 Gert Elzinga; their starting positions will be decided by time trial decided earlier in the day. In the lead up to Saturday there will be previews, facts and stats posted, along with a few words from the key challengers. Below is the grid for the big race: Who can pick a winner?!? To wet your appetite until more pre race promo is released please find a selection of photos from previous World Finals on the slider on the main website here. Or a larger collection on the Facebook page here Keith

Saturday Night Thunder at Loomer Road - Saturday 28th!
KeithOrgan449 replied to steve's topic in Essential Information
The bookings for the V8 Hotstox line up total 26 and the full list can be found here. The formula really suit the Stoke circuit; the racing will be hard and unpredictable - 16 cars started the June meeting final; only 6 finished! Amongst the quality line up will be former BriSCA F1 driver Ray Williams who will be at the wheel of Daughter Hayleys V8 - the first time in a Stock car in 11 years! Good luck Ray. See you tomorrow. Just a reminder for everyone about this coming up, just a couple of weeks away now! There's been a lot of interest in the hiring of the car, email in the first post for those who are still interested. If anyone has interest in having a stall at the day please do get in touch; keith.organ449@gmail.com We also hope to run some NEC style match races on the day alongside the hire laps and practise laps. Entrance to the day is completely FREE to everyone and there is no cost to those wanting to have stall. If you want to be involved. Get in touch! Regards,Keith

Keith Organ V8 Hotstox sponsorship opportunity
KeithOrgan449 replied to KeithOrgan449's topic in For Sale & Wanted
Thanks to those who have done this so far privately or on ebay, if anyone else can help me out whilst raising money for charity, i'll really appreciate it. Regards, Keith -
Hello all. Being new and an unknown to the competitive side of things; having sent numerous correspondence to companies in an effort to attract potential sponsors, it hasn’t been fruitful, so i'm trying this as i've seen it tried a few times, to see if this is any more successful. I have set up a listing on ebay (Here) to try and encourage some form of sponsorship, however big or small - it's greatfully received! What will you get for your money? For individuals and companies that buy one unit; your name/ business name will be professionally signwritten on to the bonnet panel of the car. For individuals/organisations that purchase a larger number of units we can discuss a different location for the signwriting, i.e. for those wanting the side panels visible to the crowd and infield photographers, these will be of higher cost as these are most sought after. For more information regarding side panel acquisition please contact keith.organ449@gmail.com . Along with getting your name signwritten on to the car, if you so wish, i will send regular updates of my racing season throughout the year. This sponsorship opportunity isn’t just about funding my racing, i would like to raise money for charity too. 10% of all sponsorship money raised will be donated to charity. Members of my family and close friends have been affected by cancer, so money will be donated to Cancer research UK and a local charity to me, The Linkage Group 71 club, which assists adults with learning difficulties, will also receive a donation out of the sponsorship revenue. This is probably a long shot, but nothing ventured, nothing gained! Thank you for your time reading this, any questions or queries please do not hesitate to contact me, on here or via my email; keith.organ449@gmail.com Regards, Keith Organ V8 Hotstox 449

Has Andy Smith gone on holiday by this time tomorrow? Would think he might make an appearance if not gone already, not least for practise for the semi and second sum of start money. Hope Lundy confirms his booking Can't wait, making a day of it at the coast then racing, excellent stuff
-
Two extras on the booking list. 59 in total. 11 361 Can't wait. Roll on tonight.
-
Is he using his number aswell? Also Murray Harrison being down as Blue, is that a typo?
-
Thanks for that Steve. Thank goodness Lund is at Sheffield

Isn't likely that more drivers will book in for Belle Vue once they survey the damage... or lack of from Kings Lynn tomorrow? I would think thats why the list looks a little thin....
