  9. The car Karl raced on shale for the 2014 season is for sale, complete ready to go. Some spares for the car; link arms; few wheels etc! Car runs both transit axels also have a spare front axle, 4.2 engine, omega Pistons, 4 branch manifold, small clutch ect ,engine has everything done to the rule book, a lot of power, car is fast on both surfaces, Any more questions please call me 07896 917708 £5500
  10. Kings Lynn host the next round of the F1 shootout this Saturday and i'm sure the Trackstar website will have a full preview and meeting bookings in due course. If you are going why not make a weekend of it? The National Ministox race Saturday and Sunday, and on the Sunday they will be joined by the V8 Hotstox, who return to Kings Lynn for the first time in a number of years! Phoebe Wainman (211) and recently crowned World Champion Kevin Stuchbury (131) head the line up. Action kicks off Saturday @ 6pm and Sunday @1pm Should be a great weekend! Keith
  11. Not long to go now; a last minute grid change on on row 10 see's all the drivers move up a place from there; with 376 Matthew Young, coming onto the grid. A couple of facts and stats for you! - Of the 30 V8 Hotstox World Finals, there have been 15 different winners. Will there be a 16th this year? - The first winner of the World Final/ National Championship was 3 Pete Clinch - 7 World Final winners have won the top prize more than once. - 11 World Final Winners have gone on to race in BriSCA F1; two of them winning the F1 World title. - 244 Mick Rogers, has won the most V8 World titles with 7 victories - The 2014 staging see’s 8 race debutants. - 1 previous winners of the race make the grid this year. - A year by year list of winners can be found here- If anyone can list the venues of the earlier races; please do let me know! - The last time Skegness staged the race it was 2008 and won by the man that sits on pole this time, 131 Kevin Stuchbury. - 2014 will see a new champion.   16. Now the F1 World weekend is done; we are now on count down to the V8 Hotstox World Final at Skegness - Saturday 11th October. Those who stuck around after Northampton yesterday may have seen a V8 Hotstox getting some hot laps with NZ34p Rebecca Barr at the wheel in preparation for the big race. Rebecca is one of the top Superstox drivers with great credentials to her name; NZ Under23's Stockcar champs 3rd place, the youngest Female racing a Superstock in NZ History and she was the first female to win a feature race at Palmerston North Speedway - Craig Heibner Mermorial. She has some great racing pedigree. - which could mean potential 4 ladies take their place in the big race - the most ever of an adult class? With a WQ round left to go; full build up and preview will be posted in due course. 2013 was a fantastic race as i'm sure many will remember. I'm sure the 2014 running won't disappoint. The night also see's a F1 shootout round and F2's; a meeting surely not to be missed! Keith

  18. With no F1's on this weekend there could be the perfect alternative at Mildenhall Saturday night. The F2's have their World Championship Semi Finals with the V8 Hotstox also on the bill. For the first time in over 25 years the V8 Hotstox take to the Suffolk shaleway in search of WQ points - with the V8 meeting final sponsored by local fan Graham Read. - Thanks Graham for the support.   19. Team Bracher have their World Final winnings cars up for sale. The Team Bracher prepared cars have won multiple races over the years and won the 2014 European Championship at Buxton in May, along with a record breaking four World Final wins (Two tarmac and two shale). Buxton Raceway hosts a big meeting this Sunday 18th May @ 1pm. - I'm sure there will be some F1 promo in due course for their WQ round; along with the Ministox, but the meeting also feature the V8 Hotstox in their first major championship of the formulas 30th anniversary year. The European Championship - with a good number of V8's due to attend; including National Points leader Phoebe Wainman - will see a series of heats contested to determine the Euro grid line up which will be graded order; the highest points scorers will start at the front of their grade and the first available non points scorers in graded order at the very back.   21. After the successful 2013 Open Day; details of the 2014 Open Day are now confirmed! Saturday 1st March @ Northampton 10am - 4pm. Track time from 12pm. Last year nearly 30 people hired a V8 for a minimal fee to complete 10 laps around the Northampton track. A large percentage of those drivers have now gone on to ready a V8 for the 2014 season. The hire car is back for the open day - come and have a go on the other side of the fence! Last year was a great day out; most of all it's free entry with new cars and refurbished cars in attendance!
