    sad news

My condolences to Ian's family. It was always fun to hang out with Ian around the tracks and we shared many a good laugh and a joke From one waterboy to another, see you later on buddy. God Bless. Love Stephen & Ailsa

  3. Fight of the night. Make it 12 rounds and Pay-Per-View !
  4. Hey waz, good to see you are still about. Was wondering why Colin's name hadn't been muted yet! Certainly think he would be a good acquistion!! A, the brisca questionarre. think that got filed away with the fans group that was started on here!! I'm far from still being around I've not attended a single F1 event since 2013, I look in on stoxnet every couple of months and this topic just tickled my fancy. Oh l new you where going to the US for the sprint cars. I didn't know you had stopped completely. You and ales were a 40+ meetings a yr and you were instrumental in starting the fans tyre fund that was a rip roaring success. You should write what has went wrong with the sport and give it to someone attending this promotors meeting. It would be interesting honest reading. All the best This is true Colin Casserly has got BRISCA running through his veins ,a very hands on person with a lot of experience of how the sport operates. I think that this man has a lot to offer to take the sport forward in the right direction Waz you old fool get back to Brisca the sport needs you ! “Sometimes we want to believe something so badly that we allow ourselves to be taken advantage of.” ― Aaron B. Powell, Doomsday Diaries III: Luke the Protector No we're much more happy being away from all the backstabbing, deceitfulness and overinflated (bruised) egos. And that's just from the fans! As a hobby / pastime found something that offers better value for money. Makes us feel valued customers and provides not just the basics but comforts as the norm. Having pride in your business is such an important part of the overall product. I have thought about making a few trips over to the fields of Holland but a return to BriSCA not a chance now I'm afraid. I had conversed with a few of my (true) UK racing friends about getting to Coventry this year just for the social, but that never got to happen sadly. But you never know if Texal 2018 doesn't clash with a USAC mini-series (Midget Week, Eastern Storm or Sprint Week) you might just see one of the ladies in the concessions with a worried look on her face at the sheer prospect of serving Chips with NO mayo !! Rights that's me outa here but I'll leave you with this “If you tell a big enough lie and tell it frequently enough, it will be believed.” ― Adolf Hitler Scary isn't it.

  6. Colin Casserley 'but whether he would want part if this huge white elephant is a different matter. Anyone remember Questionnaire's. Mushrooms.
  7. You are correct Carl the mugs were never available for sale. I gave them to the kind people that supported F1.Com as a token of my apprication. While I sat at the helm 2009 -2014. Still eternity thankful to everyone that supported and helped me and Ailsa with the website in those years. Cheers Guys. Stephen Cording.
  8. I remember being told over the PA during a break during one of Coventry's World FInals that the tracks bed rock actually came from the rubble of Coventry Town from the bombing the Nazi's inflicted during the second world war. History.

Important ruling. I do hope it is strictly enforced. No if's no but's.
  10. "Brisca F1 World Champ Tom Harris, of Banbury, Oxfordshire UK joins the USAC Racing ‪#‎WinterDirtGamesVII‬ at Bubba Raceway Park. Listen on as he discusses the differences between the USAC Non-Wings and the Full-Contact Brisca F1s." Watch Tom's Interview -> HERE
  11. Tom Harris is well on the gas during Heat 2 in his USAC Sprint Car Watch the full heat race -> HERE
  12. So why are they not returning customers? That is the golden question.
  13. An interesting article from the other side of the Atlantic. Guess some things are universal in the world of Short Oval Racing. Social media is a scapegoat for unsuccessful racing endeavors
