Final Focus: 307 leads away. 16 nearly goes around in turn 4 coming to the green. 11 takes 269 to the fence in turn 1. 217 snooker balls a train of 6 cars in turn 3 to move up the order. 555 rides up the fence with the front wheel just missing becoming hooked on the top cable. H229 and H318 give 445 a couple of good hits. 287 leads for a short spell until 368 takes over. 124 gives chase. 120 delays 368 as he comes to lap him. Callum carefully negotiates the backmarkers to take the win. After the flag 120 fires 269 hard into the turn 1 fence.
  2. Consolation Catch Up: 128 leads away. Coming to the green 484 gets pushed towards the centre by the jostling pack down the back straight and stops dead against an infield marker tyre. Caution to move 484 to safety. Complete restart. 526 ends up spinning on the back straight after a battle with H575 and 498. 287 leads. H575 retires stopped on the exit of turn 2 with a flat left rear. H318 moves ahead of 515 with a decent hit. 5 to go and it is 287 from 555. The last lap sees H318 go in with a big hit on 498 into turn 3. Both drag race to the line with Olly just getting the position. 287 wins.

Heat Two Happenings: 128 leads away. 178 is pushed off line coming to the green and clouts the turn 3 fence. 445 is locking up the front left. 16 spins 381 out in turn 2. 8, H318 and 67 tangle in turn 2. Catherine is the only one to continue. Caution to remove the stricken cars. 128 heads the restart. 555 moves into the lead in turn 3 soon after the restart. JJ loses the back panel through the turn. 16 moves through to lead. 408 hooks onto 555 in making a challenge for position. Both lose time. H229 takes advantage. The 445 car is way off the pace with handling difficulties. 8 mounts a successful last bend challenge on 555 which spins JJ into the fence. Mat takes the victory.
  4. Welcome to day two here at Skegness folks. Heat One Happenings: 307 leads away. 399 has a problem at the start which bunches the field up. 120 lets rip with a big 'un on 124 into turn 3. 515 retires with a flat front right. Caution to move 399 to safety. 453 heads the restart. 147 gives H575 a hit into turn three which sends the Dutchman spinning with a flat right rear. 20 and 217 are giving chase to 453 at halfway. 4 to go Lee is up to 2nd. 124 and 120 battle through turns 3 & 4. 526 comes to a stop on the outside of turn 4. 453 suffers a flat left rear in the closing stages and drops down the order. 217 takes the win.

GN Notes: 128 leads away. 453 stops on the entrance to the home straight on the roller but gets going again. 269 gets spun around 360 deg by the pack with 166 being the unlucky one to lose time stuck against his front bumper. Caution for standed cars. 178 heads the restart. 368, 381 and 124 dispute the lead exiting turn 4. All end in a heap in turn 1. Caution. It's 408 from 16 for the restart with a train of fellow stars lined up behind. 445 is powersliding out of the bends but losing time. H124 and H229 are dishing out the hits. 445 spins out in turn 3 after doing a slide job on the car in front. The closing lap sees a last bend hit from 16 on 408 into turn 3 which gives Mat the victory in the new car. The most action from the F1s seen all meeting. That's it folks. Back tomorrow 👍
  6. Pit News: 445 - Replacing the left stub axle. 399 - Gearbox out. H575 - Rework on the right rear corner. 368 - Front right corner and right half of bumper requires attention.
  7. Final Focus: 287 leads away. 300 and 164 are early victims to be cannoned into the turn 3 fence. 22 is left stranded mid-track on the entrance to the home straight. Caution. 287 still up front for the restart. 124 looking promising for a good finish tangles with 312 in turn 4 and retires soon after. 445 is off the pace and retires with a collapsed front left. 217 takes a lead he held to the finish in a high speed procession over the remaining laps.

JJ sets his stall out with a hard hitting drive to victory in the new car. 132 and 300 are two to feel the force of the 555 front end. 16 and 166 lock together in turn 3 which catches out a few of the pack close behind. H575 is fired sideways into the stationary 128 car in turn 3. In the closing stages 55 starts sending out a lot of smoke from the engine bay.
  9. Heat Two Happenings: 128 leads away. A big shove from the 'B' grade into turn 3 sees 484 and 164 lock together. They continue down the home straight until ramming the fence in turn 2. A complete track blockage follows with the remainder of the cars piling in. Caution. 307 heads the restart. H575 and 30 tangle on the exit of turn 4. Caution to move H575, and 368 stuck at turn 2 to safety. H124 leads this restart away. 445 is sandwiched in a Dutch battle with H229 and H318. H124 takes the win.

Ben Fund Race Recap 525 leads away. 555 retires with a mis-fire early on. 120 challenges 525 for the lead in turn 1. 381 takes over through turn 3. 124 is rapid and soon heads the field. 212, 526 and 515 trade hits and places for a couple of laps. 20 takes advantage of this trio and powers past up the inside of turn 3. 124 has long gone at this stage. 16 and 242 retire. 8 up to 2nd. 212 and 498 tangle on the exit of turn 2 towards race end. Kyle takes the win.

GN Notes: 364 leads away. 345 and 259 tangle momentarily exiting turn 4 on the opening lap. 338 bounces off the back straight fence. 175 and 16 engage in battle which ends up with 216 spinning as they come through turn 2. 338 spins in turn 2 and rejoins in spectacular fashion off the back straight infield right in front of a hard charging 55. 163 puts a good defence up against 16 and 175 before they finally get by. 364 takes a comfortable flag to flag win with 463 getting slightly closer as the laps wind down. That's it folks. A real turn the clock back feel watching from the back straight on a Monday evening. The sound of the cars powering out of turn 2 (especially 55) was superb 👍 I'll be back from Skegness.
  13. Final Focus: 375 leads away. 463 and 446 lean on each other banging wheels through turns 1 & 2. Joe drops down the order stuck on the outside. 216 whacks 95 into turn 1 which sends 163 into the fence. Caution to move the car to safety as it is stuck side on to the racing line. Fence repairs before the race resumes. 216 retires with a flat front right before the restart. 388 is pushed off by the tractor also. 375 heads the restart. 55 makes a quick start and takes a place from 16 with a hit into turn 1. 364 into the lead after a problem develops with 375's steering/front suspension. 55 elbows 364 aside in turn 3 at halfway to take over up front. 364 loses more spots as the race winds down. 463 has to give best to 16 and 175 in the closing stages after being pushed off line by the pair on consecutive laps. Craig takes his second victory of the evening.
  14. Pit News: 345 - Power steering leak. 259 - Welding right rear corner. 175 - Replacing a bent left stub axle. 216 - Working on the front right corner. 82 - Assessing back bumper/cab panel damage sustained at the end of Ht.2
  15. Heat Two Happenings: 82 leads away. 388 ends up stranded broadside on the back straight entering turn 3. Caution. 82 heads the restart. 375 tries to fend off the pack which backs them all up. 163 and 388 spin in unison in turn 2. 95 is giving chase to the flying 82. A caution for an infield tyre mid turn 3. 82 still up front for this restart. 55 catches and passes 82 for the lead around halfway. 95 tries in vain to hold back 16 and 216 but loses the spots within a couple of laps. After holding on in 2nd until one corner from the end 82 has 16 attack mid-turn. This delays both and causes mayhem for the following pack coming to the line as cars go every which way. 55 takes the win.
  16. Welcome to a Monday night Sheffield folks. Heat One Happenings: 82 leads away. Along with 375 these two break clear up front. 216 is making good progress. 82 is increasing his lead lap by lap. 338 and 55 tangle in turn 3 leaving Craig stuck on Chris' front end. At halfway 82 has a big lead. 548 circulates with a mis-fire. 95 has caught 375 and mounts a challenge. However, it goes wrong for Rob who gets a flat front right in the contact. 216 moves through into 2nd. 375 then tries to fend off 16. Mat hits the rear corner entering turn 1 and both half spin which delays them both. 463 spins in turn 3. With the right rear letting go on the 375 car chaos reigns as he is a moving roadblock mid-pack. Close to race end 463 shreds the front right tyre. 82 takes a popular flag to flag victory.
  17. GN Notes: 157 leads away. 127 spins in turn 1. A wingless 410 hits the turn 1 fence and half spins. 55 completes the move by pushing him around. At halfway 1 is amongst the backmarkers. 157 takes a flag to flag victory. That's it folks. I'll be back from Sheffield 👍
  18. Pit News: A few have loaded up with damage. 216 - Porta power on the front axle. 212 - Oil filter bracket sheared. 124 - Rear axle bent, and panel damage from the rollover.
  19. Final Focus: 375 leads away. A huge multi-car pile up in turn 1 takes out 138, 217, 55, 410, 124, 463, 1, 16 and 20. 124 is upside down in the bottom of the heap. All ok. Complete restart minus a few. 79 and 268 stopped in turn 2. 55 gives the turn 1 fence a whack as he drifts up the track. 216 flies into turn 3 making contact with 457 who clips the stationary 525 car and spins. Caution to move stranded cars. 375 leads the vastly depleted field. 157 takes over up front. 1 is up to 2nd and takes the inside line past 157 through turn 2. Adam tries to comeback but Tom has the edge to keep out of reach. 216 with a right rear rubbing on the nerf rail takes 2nd from 157. This time Adam fights back and after a few hits is through in turn 3. 20 does likewise to 515 for position. Close to race end 157 is baulked by 63 which allows 216 to move back ahead. 20 also takes advantage to pass 157. At two to go the right rear lets go on 216 who drops down the order. The British Champ is long gone and takes the victory.
  20. Pit News: 453 - Front right shocker mount broken off. 16 - Rad removed. Pulley bolt sheared. 446 - Welding left rear corner. 463 - Left rear shocker work. 212 - Cab rear panel and down post bent in to tank. Damaged post removed with porta power brought in to play in straightening the top attachment point.
  21. Heat Three Happenings: 44 leads away. 175 is sent up the fence in turn 2 on the first lap. 375 leads. All the star men are bouncing off the turn 1 fence in the early going. 453 and 212 hit this fence with Danny retiring. 93 takes a short-lived lead until 446 comes past. 457 goes around in turn 2. 93 and 375 stop in turn 2. At halfway it is 446 from a fast closing 1. 5 to go sees Tom make the pass for the lead through turn 2. These two pull clear of the field. With 1 to go the right rear lets go on the 446 car which lets 418 through for 2nd.
  22. Heat Two Happenings: 82 leads away. The early laps see cars bouncing off the fence at both ends. 463 ends up hooked over the top rope in turn 1 after a clash with 418. Caution. 82 heads the restart. 157 takes over up front shortly after. A number of cars climb over each other in turn 1 which delays 216 who retires a few laps later. A very rapid 410 takes the lead and proceeds to gap the field. At halfway 55 starts closing in on 2nd placed 157 but Adam maintains a safe distance ahead. At 2 to go 138 whacks 545 into the turn 2 fence. Next time around Dave loses out in a three way battle in the same corner with 20 and 515 and fails to progress beyond the exit of turn 2. 410 takes his second victory of the day.
  23. Pit News: 515 - Adjusting left rear spring. 530 - Front right corner requires rebuild. 124 - Rear panhard rod sheared. 526 - Right rear corner damage. Bumper and halfshaft bent, brake caliper and axle end sheared. 93 - Porta power on the front axle. 16 - Welding front right corner. 175 - Halfshafts out.
  24. Heat One Happenings: 44 leads away. Lap 1 sees 63 stop on the exit of turn 2. 446 gets shoved off line and ends up bouncing off the turn 1 fence. At the opposite end he then loses time tangling with 20. The race leading 375 car loses the back end in turn 3 and half spins. 268, 79 and 63 all go around in turn 3. 124, 217, 526 and 446 come to grief in a big pile up mid-turn in the pits bend. Lee retires with a flat right rear. Finn stays put against the fence on the exit of turn 4. A spectacular clash between 216, 93 and 530 in turn 1 leaves Darren hanging off the fence with the right front tangled in the top cable. 44 heads the restart. 410 takes over up front within half a lap. 216 gives chase and gets within range but Jelle pulls away. Close to race end 157 makes up a spot passing 216, with the British Champ also making up ground. 410 is away for the win.
