GN Notes: 128 leads away. 166 ends up on the top of the 526 bonnet in turn 2. 410 dishing out some good hits. 300 and 555 hook together in turn 3. 287 collides with the pair. 178 leads. 287, 166 and 368 stop on the exit of turn 2. 175 gets 55 offline in turn 3. Craig fights back at the next corner. 515 and 212 are battling together in the closing laps. 178 retires with a flat left rear. 16 takes a race winning lead at four to go. 175, 8 and 147 cross the line three abreast at race end. That's it folks. I'll be back from Hednesford on the 3rd Nov π

Final Focus: 523 leads away. 368 gives 147 a good hit early on to gain the spot. 8 is flying and clears multiple cars through turn 2. 212 fires 269 into 526 entering turn 3. 259 whacks 8 into turn 3. H318 gives 595 and 166 a good'un in turn 3. Bobby is left broadside mid-turn. 555 leads at halfway with 1 up to 3rd. 1 leads at 7 to go. 446 launches 178 into turn 3 who bounces up the fence. 212 dishes it out to 300 in turn 1. Coming to the flag 16 and 20 dice out of turn 4 with Mat getting the place. The World Champ takes the win.

Consolation Catch Up: 128 leads away. 388 into the lead. 526 through to 2nd early on, and leading a lap later. 312 goes around in turn 4. 128 straightens the Flying Coalman out. The second half of the race sees a good duel between 446 and 138 with hits traded between the pair. 410 moves clear of these two as they battle. Coming to the flag 446 just pips 138 for position with a partial sideways sprint for the line. Finn takes the win after failing post-race checks following Ht.1

Pit News: 178 - Adjusting carb. 147 - Porta power on the front axle. 124 - Left rear hub stripped down. 555 - Chain block employed to pull the front left corner back in line for welding.

Heat Two Happenings: 128 leads away. 312 and 22 tangle early in turn 1. 523 leads. 259, 212, 515 and 217 engage in a multi-lap battle. Paul gets a flat as the race progresses. A slowing 300 down the back straight causes a few to take a wayward line through turns 3 & 4. 540 clouts the fence. 4 to go and 526 has moved in on 523. 3 to go sees Finn take a race winning lead. 287 fires 410 and 138 hard into turn 3. In the race to the line 124 is sent towards the infield and comes to an abrupt stop against a marker tyre.

Heat One Happenings: 399 leads away. 446 kicks off proceedings with a flying hit on 1 into turn 3. He repeats the move on 16 into turn 1. Joe then loses spots on the following laps. 178 slows and stops on the back straight. 307 leads after 399 retires. 16 half spins in turn 4. 132 fires 147 into 408 through turn 3. 4 to go and 20 takes over up front from 307. 408 tries for a last bender on 269 into turn 3 but Thomas holds on and crosses the line ahead. Liam takes the win.

Welcome to day two folks. Charlie Sworder not racing today owing to damage from last night's Final. Left side exhausts squashed but engine appears ok.

GN Notes: 399 leads away. 1 makes a rapid start but clips 555 in turn 1 and loses spots. 128 stops on the exit of turn 4. H318 and 408 lock together in turn 3. Caution for 128. 399 heads the restart. 1 is behind 446 for this restart and fires Joe into turn 3. 446 takes the place back up the inside of Tom into turn 1 cannoning into the back of 217. The train powers down the back straight and 1 makes the killer move into turn 3. 446, 217 & 138 all bounce off the fence with Lee and Dave staying put. Caution. 8 heads the restart. 166 is on it and launches 242 into turn 1 with great force, followed by 212 into turn 3. However, 410 sends him, 124 and 147 fenceward next time around. 3 to go and 515 has caught 8 and makes the winning move into turn 1. Grandad Frankie takes the victory to round off the best race of the night. That's it folks. Back tomorrowπ- 44 replies

Final Focus: 399 leads away. A multi-car pile up in turn 1 sets the scene early on. Cars involved include 242, 5, 20, 345. 217 gets pushed into the pile by the following cars. At the opposite end 446 fires 1 into a spin. The World Champ is left stationary facing the wrong way. Caution to clear turn 1. 399 heads the restart from 269 & 212. 212 fires 269 into turn 3 which sends 399 fencewards in a shower of sparks. Marc stops on the exit of turn 4. 269 repays the hit on 212 in turn 1. 8 nips up the inside of 212. 212 gets the place back before a caution flies for 399. 212, 8, 242 and 408 head this restart. 408 sends 8 into 212 entering turn 3. Ant into the lead. A fairly quiet second half of the race came alive at 2 to go when 16 caught 408. Entering turn 3 for the last time sees Mat put a hit in on 408 who is sent off-line exiting the turn. 8 takes advantage to snatch the 2nd spot. However, 408 had started the race in the wrong position and was taken out of the result. 515 claimed the 3rd spot. -

Consolation Catch Up 523 leads away. 287, 312 and 132 tangle in turn 1 as a result of a big push from behind. Caution to move a stranded 128 car to safety. 307 stops against the turn 3 fence on the restart. 555 slows and retires soon after the green. 20, 55, 212 and 124 are battling together through the field. At halfway 523 still holds the lead from a closing pack of reds. 20 is into a race winning lead at 6 to go.
