Jordan Falding wins the GN/Brian Whorton Memorial Race

The GN is for the inaugural Brian Whorton Memorial Trophy. This is to be an annual event raced for in the GN at the first Hednesford meeting of the season. Grid as earlier post minus the following non-starters: 226 20 16 8 132 67 Green flag!

Pit News 381 - Welding a new bearing end on the rear panhard rod + porta power from the cab to the right nerf rail to level it up. 501 - Chris Elwell wielding the grinder to remove damaged steelwork from the right front corner. 212- Welding a new brace piece to the right rear nerf.

After catching the long time leading 36 car at 5 to go Callum Thornton pulls clear for the win

Pit News: 453 - Pinion sheared in the diff 526 - Changing gears as hitting the limiter during the race 226 - Loading up with gearbox issues 259 - Repositioning the coil away from a 'hotspot' 498 - Porta power on the front axle 8 - Changing left stub axle 36 - Fuel tap shut off during the race 132 - Returned to the pits before race start with a bent steering arm from the first race. 175 - Porta power on the front axle 16 - Engine problems in the 312 car

YF in the opening laps - 36 stopped on the exit of turn 4. In turn 2 we have 175, 8 & 20 piled up against the fence. All ok. 399 67 368 head the restart.
