  2. The race-start is held for a short while for 24 who is finishing off an engine change after a blow up in practice. The first start sees 968 and 560 tangle as they cross the line resulting in a huge pile up involving the cars following. Complete restart without 968, 674, 542 and 419. After a couple of laps a big push into turn 3 sees 387 on two wheels tangled with the top cable of the fence and 315 underneath. Caution. Restart number two has the field depleted by 10 cars. 7 takes off from the front. Gordon is the master of restarts and soon creates a gap to 560. A fairly processional race follows with 578 the only car to have a major positional change. Unfortunately it was backwards for Gibbo as he got pushed off-line on numerous occasions. 184 retired at one to go. 7 takes the win with two fellow Scots in the top 4. GN Notes: 559 leads away. 48 moves 12, 555 and 147 aside entering turn 1 with a big hit. 212 shifts 501 with a hit into turn 1, with 2 doing likewise to George in turn 3. 48 now leads. 559 half spins in turn 3. 166 locks wheels with 559 and they career down the home straight scraping the fence in a shower of sparks. Lilly comes to a stop on the exit of turn 2 mid-track causing the folliwing cars to go either side. Caution to move her to safety. 48 and 212 head the restart. Shaun pulls clear to take the victory. Jack France won the coin toss so will start the WF from pole position. That's it folks. Back from Odsal 👍

Final Focus: 559 leads away. 73 into 2nd early on, and then into the lead. 381 takes over 2nd place. 166 is moving towards the front. 73 and 381 have broken clear. 381 retires just before halfway. 178 jumps the banking entering turn 1 and ends up facing the wrong way. Caution to move the car to safety. 73 retires with a flat front right. 166 555 48 and 84 head the restart. 84 pushes 48 wide through turn 2 but Shaun holds it and gets back ahead on the inside line down the back straight. 217 hits 84 wide into turn 3 with the 84 car repaying it into turn 1. At 5 to go Bobby G has gapped his pursuers and heads for the win.

Heat Three Happenings: It is lashing it down folks and is really grim with the wind blasting through the stand! 86 leads away. 559 takes over up front. 381 up to 2nd and soon into the lead from 73. 8 moves up to 3rd. Caution for a stranded car in turn 1. 212 retires before the green. 381 is away at a rate of knots. 166 through for 2nd with 84 up to 3rd at 5 to go. 8 passes 73 into turn 1 with 3 to go. 381 takes a fine win in atrocious conditions.

A couple of laps later and it is 48 leading from 217 with a pass on 120 through turn 2. At halfway 217 takes the lead to race end. 212 moves into 3rd in the closing stages with a damaged wing.

  17. Semi-final focus: On a slow rolling lap the field takes the green. 217 puts a hit in on 84 entering turn 3 on lap 1. The pair race down the home straight side by side. 84 is back in front a lap later with greater traction out of turn 2. Tom soons opens up a gap and closes in on the backmarkers. 8 is moving through the field. 235 spins out in turn 4. At halfway the gap from 84 to 217 has increased. 120 and 457 tangle and bounce off the home straight fence. Callum stops in turn 2. With 1 to go 73 is stopped in turn 1 broadside to the racing line. 84 cruises over the line to win.
