GN Notes: 399 leads away. A quiet start livened up by a 216 v 16 spat. After Mat squeezed Jack towards the home straight fence he fired back with a monster hit into turn 1 using the 34 car as a snooker ball. The 16 car hammered the fence, rolled over and landed upright. A bit of payback from round 1. Caution. 453 leads the restart. After getting out of shape exiting turn 4 the 453 car collected 259 leaving Paul with a lack of steering. He comes to a stop on the home straight. Caution. 63 heads the restart. 217 has 55 bearing down on him. Entering turn 4 and the Flying Finn puts the bumper in to take the spot at halfway. 55 leads at 5 to go. Entering turning 3 for the last time Lee hits Craig wide and comes through for the win. That's it folks. We'll be back from Skegness 👍

Final Focus: 404 leads away. 16 fires 515 into turn 1. Frankie continues but there is sparks coming from the rear end. 217, 55, 138 and 1 enter turn one amongst the pack. 55 and 1 lose spots getting sent around the outside of a stalled car. 216 spins in turn 3. 22 and 525 are locked together on the outside of turn 1 which brings out the caution. 63 heads the restart. 515 puts a belter of a hit in on the back of a 138, 217 and 16 train into turn 3. All three bounce off the fence. In the melee 1 nips up the inside of 515 through the exit of turn 4. Caution for 412 stuck on the back straight. 93 heads the restart. 515 is behind 1 in the queue. 446 does a side swipe on the World Champ down the home straight. 515 is sent round by a combined manoevure from 138 and 217 in turn 3. 55 is clearing off whilst all this is going in. 175 has steering damage exiting turn 4 after being sent fencewards. He drifts towards the 1 car and then hits the fence again. As 138 appears on the scene an out of control Karl takes him over the concrete blocks and onto the rugby pitch. Caution 526 heads the restart. 217 behind 1. 55 and 95 tangle in turn 2. Craig spins which slows 217. 1 is clear of his pursuers. 217 takes the position from 515 through turn 4 coming to one to go. Finn Sargent takes a great Final win, and the World Champ is the 2024 Shootout Champ 👊👍 His fellow Shooters missed numerous opportunities to take him out in this race.

Heat Three Happenings: 399 leads away. 82 stops on the outside of turn 3 coming to the green. 515 elbows 217 fencewards on the exit of turn 2. The caution flies for the stranded 82. Complete restart. In the early going 217 half spins in turn 1. The 1 car completes the spin for Lee by pushing him fully around. 216 is the next to spin in turn 1. 525 hits a inside marker tyre on the back straight and ends up rolling it. 63 heads the restart. 22 has sparks coming from the right rear. 16 circulates within striking range of the 1 car for a few laps. 515 has moved clear of the 1 car. 217 is closing in. The World Champ catches 515 and the pair trade a couple of minor hits. As they enter turn three 1 tries a hit on the rear corner of 515 but bounces off and half spins. 217 moves in for the kill and takes 1 to the fence but ends up locked on the 1 front end momentarily. The cars separate but it leaves Lee with a front outside flat. 55 takes his second win of the night as 217 stops in turn 4 coming to the flag.

Heat Two Happenings: 404 leads away. 269 spins in turn 4. 22, 44, 82, 446 and 338 come to grief together on the exit of turn 2. 216 spins in turn 3. 44 leads. 34 bounces off the turn 3 fence. 404, 399 and 63 bring out the caution locked together in the middle of turn 4. 453 heads the restart for a short time until 127 comes through. 16 and 53 exit turn 2 in close combat with King John making light contact with the fence sending out sparks from the nerf rail. 127 retires on the back straight. 55 takes the lead around halfway which he holds until the end.

Welcome to Bradford folks. Heat One Happenings: 469 leads away. A restart after 31 stops on the back straight coming to the green. The race start sees 515 make a rapid getaway. However, exiting turn 2 the car tangles and locks together with 463. Both cars remain up against the concrete blocks. The World Champ makes unavoidable contact with the pair as he passes resulting in a flat right front. As the caution flag flies 217 also gets a flat right front. All three of these Shooters are not able to take the restart. A short lived resumption before 526 and 175 collide on the exit of turn 4 leaving Karl on his side. 469 heads this restart. 345 is soon through to the lead. 469 spins in turn 4, with 375 also bouncing off the fence. Jonthan then whacks the fence hard in turn 1. With a stuck throttle he does a full lap making contact with the retired car of 526 on the turn 4 infield before stopping at turn 1. 345 heads this restart. 375, 259 and 93 lock together on the back straight. Caution to move these cars. 345, 138 and 525 are the top 3. 138 takes the lead from 345, with 525 sliding Jake to the fence in turn 4. 399 spins in turn 4. In the closing stages 525 tackles 34 in turn 4 but ends up coming off worse with a half-spin. Tractor Dave takes the win.

GN result: 501 22 1 8 515 217 408 16 5 55 138 12 DNF: 128 515 and 217 battled between themselves as the race progressed. 1 closed in and gave them a hit wide into turn 1 and was through with no retaliation from the pair, or anyone else. A masterclass 👊 That's it folks. I'll be back from Bradford 👍

Heat 3 result: 408 526 132 8 259 217 5 452 55 120 138 453 DNF: 515, 325, 368, 382 & 381 515 had the left rear tyre go after contact with 55 on the opening lap. The remaining Shooters did not get involved with each other during this race. We will see if they step up and stop Tom in the Final.

Pit News: 515 - Diff cover reseal, and axle oil re-fill in op. 128 - Porta power on the front right corner. 217 - Carb change. 555 - Timing the engine. 505 - Replacing rad belt. 166 - Trying to locate an oil leak from the engine. 312 - Porta power on the front right. Replacing steering link rod. 582 - Replacing the coil.

Heat 2 result: 1 381 526 515 217 408 16 555 12 166 5 501 DNF: 505, 382 & 312 1 shifted 217 and 16 offline on lap 1 and set sail for the front. 515 tried to put a couple of early lap hits in on the 1 rear end but was unable to make hard enough contact. Not a lot happened between the other Shooters.

YF: 382 in the back straight fence. All ok.
