Seats available in my car from the Lancashire area for the European weekend at Northampton next week. Setting off from Preston / Samlesbury area around 12 lunch time Saturday to arrive at track for about 3pm to 3.30 pm approx. Camping at track and returning at the end of racing Sunday. Its just me so can fit another two in comfortably. Split costs fairly amoung passangers and driver. Can collect on route depending on location of course. Thanks Martin, Just e mailed him to enquire. Theres also a complete 1997 A4 Avant on e bay thats in Preston as well and current bid is £430 ish but not sure about the mileage as its done 193,000. Mine had done 150,000 when it went but this is more down to the loss of radiator water than mileage though.

Hi My engine expired on the way to Buxton on Sunday and my mechanic has confirmed that the radiator lost its water and the car didn't warn me, the engine ran real hot again no warning and it has basically melted down internally, although it didn't seize. Anything plastic touching the block melted and thats when the oil light came on and was the first sign of trouble. So my engine is scrap and I need a replacement engine. Can anyone recommend a business or somewhere that is trust worthy where I can purchase a good condition fully complete second hand engine. 1997 Audi A4 1.9 TDi 110 Hp quattro engine. Any help appreciated.

I am posting this on behave of 218 Derek Fairhurst and his team. Derek's gearbox exploded in a big way during practice at Venray on Saturday and is not repairable. So he is in need of a replacement gearbox to fit his tarmac car before he can race again. Thanks to James Neachell, he was loaned a gear box to use at Venray but he will be needing a replacement for his own when they return from their holidays in a few weeks time. Unfortunately, I don't know the specs of the gearbox he needs but Derek is on the look out for a gearbox for sale or if anyone is willing to sponsor a gearbox. Just as a matter of interest, how much would it cost me for a basic running engine, nothing fancy, a rear axle, drive sprokets etc, brake and a set of 4 old wheels and tyres. I always fancied making a motorized bar stool with the stool in the garage.

The colour painted size is 42 cm x 28 cm, but it has a white border which brings it to 45 cm x 32 cm. However, this has then been mounted with double sided tape to a white background which is in an aluminium finish frame which then measures outside dimensions 51 cm x 41 cm. It looks great hung on the wall of my porch so that i see it everytime i walk into the house and great value at £15 or £25 for the signed version. I bought the unsigned version as half the fun for me is getting things signed myself in person.

HI, Has anyone got a copy of the latest Top Gear magazine and has access to a scanner. There is a four page article that I need a scan of to e mail to a friend in the USA. No way am I paying £4 just for the one article, that could be put towards getting in at Belle Vue on Monday. So is there anyone going to Birmingham this Saturday from the Preston / Lancashire area that has a spare seat available there and back. Hi, Would anyone be interested in purchasing a DVD of hi resolution photographs, (pits and on track action shots) from the following meetings that I attended this year so far. Birmingham and Hednesford April 23rd and 24th F1 and F2 Belle Vue Mon 28th March and 30th May Cowdenbeath 11th June, Knockhill 12th June, Misc section with hot rods , stock rods etc. Can't give a figure at the moment as to the exact contents of the number of pictures on there, but it will be alot.
