  1. Heat 4 Frankie Wainman let them all go at the start. Tactical ?? Anyway once he got going, aided and abetted by nobody, he spun himself entering turn 1, Uncharacteristic stuff from the gold one 84 surely now the favourite to win after that drive, giving a lap down 555 an almighty wallop into the fence towards the end
  2. Heat 3 Smithy used his tried and tested barging sideways action mid turn 3/4 on 217. Lee wasn't having any of it, turned in on 390 clipping his outside rear. Smithy lept into the air entering straight, Lee spun, 390 sadly suffered a puncture and is out for the restart
  3. Add 4,84 and 390 to the on fire mix Great duel developing between 84 &390, exchanging blows Spoiled when 249 moved to infield crossing path of Smithy who lost ground after clouting 249 en route to infield. Smithy can save it for later!!
  4. Is it too late to change my pizzabet prediction ? Frankie Wainman is flying. The handling of the car is second to none Must have been just over half a lap ahead of 3rd placed Danny Wainman On fire 🔥
  5. A Big Thank You to Nic and Jane And well done Shaun Webster. I was admiring the car last weekend at Skegness. It's an absolute beaut A credit to the Sport
  6. Thanks team I was there but this excellent service is a must for filling in the programme results Great battle in the final between 217 - 84 - 445 , but Nigel's kamikaze attack on Lee didn't exactly go to plan.
  7. Some great discussion on this subject of car numbers. I agree that the question shouldn't be "derided or belittled" , i just wish folk would elaborate on the question, as it's interesting to know how it affects that person's view . For me, it's more about which drivers are booked in. Back in the day, when clashing meetings was the norm, we didn't have this interweb thingy. We relied on carrier pigeons for info and went to meetings in a stage coach (driven by Calamity Jane). I think Dick Turpin held up our coach once . I would want to know which meeting Smithy was going to attend, as there was always a chance of some controversial incidents. Having returned to meetings in 2015 after a 10 year sabbatical, i discovered that Tom Harris is the new Smithy. Meetings with Tom in attendance always seem to have that extra something. I'm on board with Ozzy in that you choose your meetings based on personal preference. There's one track i wouldn't go to if it was free entry with £20 cashback - but that's just me. Thanks for putting a smile on my face Carole Smith. I really want to be at that 275 'all in' meeting !!
  8. Dare i ask an innocent question ? When someone asks an innocent question on how many drivers are booked in, is it because they need a certain amount of F1's to make the trip ? I understand Bryan's frustration of seeing this question over and over again, with seemingly no reason for the question and i understand Ozzy's comment on just ignore it. But if the answer to the question is 40 , 45, 50 or whatever - i just don't get what this information means to anyone , and yet the question is asked like a recurring record without posters saying why they're asking the question And after all, it's a forum for discussion so why not say why one is asking the question in the 1st place - so we can discuss the answer (when we know it) ?
  9. Marathon Easter weekend of racing and results service Many thanks team
  10. Thanks team. Great stuff So sad not able to attend this cracker of a meeting this year. Well done Lee Fairhurst, on saving your best performance for the last (point scoring) meeting of the year , winning the Ray Tyldesley trophy for a 2nd year.
  11. Thanks Nic & Jane for all the effort this weekend
  12. Anyone know the none UK drivers for this race ? I'm assuming the very first race of any formula is 6.30pm as stated
  13. Thanks again team. Terrific as always Amazingly close at the top of the shoot out points, with Paul & Frankie tied in 1st place, and Rob breathing down their necks Looking forward to being at Coventry for the next chapter

  15. Well said Carl. Taking a stab in the dark, i'd even put money on that mythical creature belonging to Billy Tom, making an appearance.
  16. So many Coventry fliers in this one 249, 34, 175, 321, 259, 21, 215, 53, For me, it's Mr Finnikin plus any one of those. But can't rule anyone out really By the way Duncana, Jeremy has promised a booking list later in the week. See 3rd post
