  1. I sold one to Steve Jackson recently, he hasn't used it. Ill message you his no.
  2. Yes shame, couldn't hear it very well, better luck tonight 👍 Jordan tweeted about it this morning, so he is aware about the audio, so sure hell have it sorted for tonight, unless its already pre recorded.
  3. Sorry i missed the other questions. Thanks Linky, weve never had a new car before, and his old car was a multi purpose car, he has my old tar car, so a proper shale car is better than having a multi car and a tar car, if hes having 2, then a proper one of each is in order. Thanks everyone else, glad you enjoyed it. Were doing one a week, then posting it once a month, some weeks nowt changes. Steve, CC, we are keeping tabs on what weve spent, and will do a cost on the total at the end. After 10 years racing i still don't know the cost of a new car. Stav, not for me to say who bought his old car, but he came back and bough the engine too, so its a good car package.
  4. We are still working, and doing the car in our own time Andy, well Jake is. Yea, if we were on it full time it would be done by now, but our work comes first and pays for it. The bonnet and side panels were made by SSj, and the brackets etc are available to buy from Bruno, we have some cut too from a friend Mark who does some for us too. All bumpers, tubes, nerfs, stays etc are all cut in the workshop, shaped with a grinder and welded in house.
  5. Great interview. I was always afraid of crashing, till he changed my attitude when he said to me 'I love a good crash' Thanks Chris, that did me good you know, in fact i was following you at Mildenhall when you went over, i thought i bet he enjoyed that lol.
  6. I did an interview last night, i would off put a suit on if i had known, but got caught off guard as i got out of the bath, so i was in a dressing gown lol. 8. Great interview, come on Sarge, you can do it. Not too sure, there is a Teng toolbox for the winner, but don't know if that's for the points or for the race. Jake has been given one by Teng too, he has done fantastic and i am dead proud of him, and a massive thanks to Teng, very Kind, and a reward for his efforts this year.
  9. Yes, i think its a fantastic and fair way of scoring a race, 36 cars, 36 for winning, some cars don't finish, so you still get some points for finishing, even last. Even if its 16 cars in a race, fair scoring. 16 for the winner down to last finisher. We personally have 3 transponders permanently fitted and wired into our 3 cars. 1 of them is registered to me, and i automatically get emails from mylaps with results when its been used. the other 2 are in the results, as they must be imported by the lap scorers at the track. BUT, some hire cars, or hire transponders aren't registered to the correct driver on the day, that's where it gets confusing. It's complicated, we were told at the weekend if we have borrowed a car or transponder, we must notify Sophie. edit . Thinking about it, each transponder has a number, we are supposed to give that no to Sophie when we apply for our licence each year. Maybe if we could easily update our own records on the Mylaps website it would know whos using what. Its is a brilliant system, and is now used in all racing, running, bikes, cars any type of racing.
  10. Sorry Ricky, don't understand it, ive read it 3 times! And I cant see where 345 is in the total standings, its not there?
  11. The new rear tarmac tyre we use (we call it the venray tyre) is 10 inch, a rally tyre is 8 inch. So a tarmac bumper is slightly longer. (back left) We got a warning on Saturday the bumper was an inch too long. We had spoken to a committee member about it when we fitted it to make sure it was correct, but told to shorten it at Kings Lynn. So i had to cut an inch the bumper last night off a car that's just done 1 race, and just been painted. we cut 2 inches off to be sure.
  12. I lost my 27 points from last week Dave, if i hadn't i would have been seriously tempted. The top 10 will be the guys that do all 11 meetings i expect.
  13. Just got 2 tickets as there are 6 of us going with Jake. I nearly had to get a set of tarmac wheels on my car if it had sold out, phew, that was close, i nearly had to go tarmac racing! Seriously, i sort of fancied it, but when you put tarmac wheels on a car, the bumpers are not legal, then its just too much work, ride height, pads, wing, weights, etc, just make the cars same and us with 1 car could chuck it on trailer and have a go, were going anyway, so to bring my car would have been no trouble.
  14. I went to the 85 world speedway final there, and wow what a meeting, i actually walked the track the following year as i was mechanicing for Kelvin Tatum at the overseas final i think it was. I never rode there as it was first division and i was at Stoke, 2nd division. I have been invited to race tonight by Paul, and to race Bradford is a dream, how could i turn it down? I have a White roof on for tonight, so i might look like a red and white barrell being knocked all over the track! I am steering with the keyboard up down left right buttons, competing at against all those with steering wheels and pedals, get the excuses in early. Right, better go and have a practise there's only an hour to go.
  15. Good story Dave, just reminded me, first time (only time) I was Red, i lined up at the back next to Matt Newson, and he shouted 'Nige, these are the superstars, your over there' whoops! 🤣
  16. The grading system is the brilliant thing about Stock cars. Whatever grade you are, you sit on the track, and think i can beat those in front of me, if i can keep in front of those behind, so wherever you start, you think you can win. It gives everyone a chance of winning a race, and winning a race gives you enough enthusiasm to keep going for another year!
  17. Haha, the typical Roger, well done Jonathon, and great interview of him Roger. well done both.
  18. Yea, I got loaded up for riding the fence! 🤣
  19. Haha, i thought i would do one for you as you asked lol.
  20. Thanks for those that voted for me, i am honoured. But still cant get 100% even though i was racing against myself! Last few years we've had a personality of the year award too, SSj nominated me and 3 others last year, which i proudly won, but due to legal issues, we've lost F1 stockcars. Could we do it on Stoxnet? Or maybe combine it or present it at Motor sport with attitude show?Just an idea.
