With 40 booked you are looking at around 35 actual starters so a 2/3rds format 23/24 car heats are essential as 17 /18 will be lost on a big track like this imo. 197 has a busy night appearing on cov and ippy lists

List not going on until Thursday There is a huge choice of oval racing meetings over Easter, I would have thought an earlier release of what I am sure will be a decent driver list would have helped the undecided to choose skeggy.

Just a thought but what about consolation no1 being for the first 30 cars on track and consolation no2 open to all those still not qualified. This would ensure good car numbers in all races .

With skeggy and lynn long established tracks it's surprising and disappointing that so few drivers race from out that way looking at the nir list only mat newson is making the trip from east anglia or lincolnshire maybe there is to much other "stuff" to race as it has always had lots of tracks.I know there are a few others that race from out that way but the sport is very definately midland and northern driver based.

They have never managed a 6 oclock start yet at I will be amazed if they are up and running that early

If its dry on the night those ones will turn it to dust very quickly and the crowd will get to take all the wet shale home! I just love the racing at lynn so i'll take me chances on a trip over there.

Great to know the format for those to mean to buy a programme and even better to have 3 heats at a track other than cov. With 72 cars we are guaranteed at least 60 I believe the record turnout is 67 ??? (for Skeggy)
