    EBAY

It's the 365 Barry Stephen car. Link here
  2. I don't think that would be any use for a stock car?
  3. Details of how to advertise in the various publications can be found in the magazines themselves.
  4. Why don't you start with the driver that you mechanic for?
  5. Try this
  6. Do you have to order them in advance?
  7. Have you got any in a style that will fit me? I only have two arms and one head.
  8. Most cars with FWJ Racing on them have been built and/or prepared by FWJ. He doesn't take them to the meetings or look after them, that's done by the team concerned. I presume that FWJ has some arrangement with Rob Whittaker (142) regarding transport to meetings and presumably storage of Rob's stock car, but you would have to speak him about the details. I believe Ray Witts also does a similar thing for John Walker. It sounds like you want to hire a car, rather than look after your own. NFR have a car that can be hired out for a meeting. Tel 0161 723 4012 Hope this helps.
  9. Of course it's official. It's a different product and is not made by Microsoft, but it will open and save most file formats used by Microsoft Office. It's also available for platforms other than Windows. The correct website is http://www.openoffice.org/
  10. You can get it here
  11. I might have, I'll have a look when I get home from work. Nice sig, but it's 21 years tomorrow since that Chernobyl thing went bang. April 26th 1986.
  12. Some people must have more money than sense.
  13. This might be a bit far for you to travel, unless you're prepared to move house, but have a look at this and let me know if there's anything there of interest.
  14. There doesn't appear to be a price list.
  15. You could reasonably expect to get at least £10-£15 for a print, if they are limited editions. I'd have thought that an original painting would go for much more than £15. I'd be interested too.
  16. I am in the process of resurrecting an article I wrote about the world finals that have been staged at Hednesford, and I could do with some photos. If anyone has got any that they'd like to contribute, please PM or email me with details. If you have actual prints (instead of digital pics) and don't have a scanner, or you've got loads and don't fancy scanning them all, then I'd be happy to scan the photos for you and provide you with a CD of them. I'll even pay the postage both ways! I have already plundered the galleries, with little success. If you've got some pics in there from these races, and haven't had a PM from me about them, please drop me a line. Please don't add your pics to this thread - otherwise, by the time I get my little piece online, everyone will have already seen the photos!
  17. I've got no idea how much he charges. But £250 a meeting doesn't seem extortionate, assuming that he doesn't charge more if/when you bend it.
  18. Daz Kitson hires cars out. Don't know any contact details for him though.
  19. Well, I do hope she wears a bit more clothes, or she'll catch her death of cold.
  20. You're absolutely right. He should have left the stock cars out of it.
  21. Must admit, I was pleasantly surprised when I saw a preview of "Colin's glamour shoot calendar". My first impression was that Colin scrubs up remarkably well, but then I realised that it's not actually Colin in the photos.
  22. You can get new ones for less than that.
  23. Over-charging for postage and packing is a common trick on ebay, though I think all of the stox stuff that I've bought has been reasonable for the P&P. Just shows that stox folk are usually nicer and more honest than the general public.
  24. The following items are now surplus to requirements and are free to a good home. 1. BT Voyager 105 USB ADSL Modem. As supplied by AOL. Includes USB lead and phone lead. 2. SanDisk 16Mb Compact Flash memory card (branded 'Nikon', it came with a camera). 3. 5.25" Multifuction bay, comprising :- card readers for Compact Flash I & II, Smart Media, Memory Stick, SD & MMC. 2x IEEE1394 (aka 'FireWire') repeaters. (connects to existing 1394 interface). 12V & 5V DC outputs 3 port USB2 hub (connects to internal USB). audio sockets (mic, line-in, line-out) - lets you mount them on the front of the PC for convenience. Includes instruction manual. I've lost the drivers disc, but you won't need it if you're using Windows XP. 4. 4 port USB1.1 hub and power supply. 5. Short cable with 9-pin D-type connector to stereo 3.5mm jack plug. Unused, still in wrapping. 6. Short cable with RCA phono plug to mono jack plug ('mini' jack? it's smaller than 3.5mm anyway) 7. Modem cable, approx 1m. 8. 2x USB sockets on a backplate, with flying leads to connect to USB headers on mobo. All free of charge to anyone that can use them, but if you want either item 3 or 4, then a small donation to the Trust Fund to cover the postage would be appreciated.
  25. I've just binned a 25 pack of Titanium-R discs as every PC I've tried them in spits them back out and complains that they are not the correct media. If it wasn't for the fact that I bought them 4 months ago from a place that's a 20 minute drive away, and they only cost a fiver, I'd have taken them back. I can probably fish them out if anybody wants to give them a try.
