  3. Our Blauwhuis correspondent reports that neither 215 or 394 qualified for final, although 394 was going good at times.
  4. Final took about 45 mins to run. Total carnage. Possibly a bit of team racing going on? Think 515 fifth, 212 about 8th. 175 got a load of damage.
  5. Top 3 in Final. 440 453 38. 515 went for the lead but tangled and hit fence. (John B )
  6. Update from my Blauwhuis correspondent. 555 struggled in heat 1, 175 bent axle in his race 212 got 8th. 175 was leading Cons then yellows came out, then a car that been out for 3 laps took him out, he still qualified. 555 did a halfshaft.
  7. Cons: 17 152 38 22 228 Karl Hawkins had big lead but yellows with a few to go and he came 9th? (@John B )
  8. Heat 2: 332-143-47 (@f1stockcar) Can't see the full result anywhere, so apart from FWJ's 5th place in Heat 1, no news on how the Brits are doing.
  9. Results via John B on Twitter Heat1:53,61,151,337,UK515 Note that these are Dutch numbers - it wasn't Lundy that won!

  12. TrackStar have released the following:- Can 515 Frankie Wainman Jr achieve that rare feat of a maximum score, after so narrowly missing out in the season opener here last month? Wainman scorched to heat and final successes in his new car before carving his way through to third in the grand national, without the aid of a yellow flag. It’s a lot easier said than done, and Wainman will face strong competition from some of the sport’s biggest stars, including former World Champion 55 Craig Finnikin, the man acknowledged by his peers as being the benchmark on shale. National Points champion 4 Dan Johnson and King’s Lynn track champion 16 Mat Newson will also be among the favourites this weekend. Just as he threatened to do last season, 445 Nigel Green looks set to join the sport’s elite this year, with a concerted effort on both surfaces. He and fellow Leicestershire man 259 Paul Hines will be in contention for race wins. Alongside FWJ in the Wainman camp are his brother 212 Danny Wainman and son 555 Frankie Wainman Jr Jr. The latter scored his first ever F1 race win a couple of weeks ago and is riding the crest of a wave. His first win on shale is surely not far off. Other potential winners include former World Champion 2 Paul Harrison, 21 Mark Gilbank, 22 Will Yarrow and 94 John Dowson Jr. Starting nearer the front, 25 Bradley Harrison and 36 Jordan Falding will look to continue making progress in this, their first season on shale, after acquitting themselves well first time out on the Adrian Flux Arena shale last month. 463 James Morris will behoping to stay on all four wheels after performing a high speed rool at our last meeting. Indeed rolling over on turn one at King's Lynn has been a regular occurence for James at King's Lynn over the past 12 months but it is good to see that it hasn't dampened his enthusiasm or determination to get the chequered flag! 19. There have been some changes made to the Buxton track over the winter. The rumble strips have been removed, which makes the racing line a bit shorter.
  20. Mick has said on Twitter that he had some problems with his transporter on the way home from the last meeting he raced at (I've forgotten which one), and is unable to race his F1 until it's fixed.
  21. Mick Sworder racing a Superstox at this meeting was alluded to on here earlier, in this thread.
