Thanks for the reminder about road closures in Chesterfield. I live there and was aware of the closures, but hadn't put 2 and 2 together to realise it would affect traveling to Sheffield up the A61 ! I've looked at a map of roads that will be closed, and there probably is a way around it all to the west of Chesterfield, but I do agree the simplest option for anyone traveling up the A38 is just to go up the M1 at J28.

Like most people, I always read the results and don't always take 15 seconds to give appreciation, so thanks to all involved for the season long service.

Love the loons, but for the F1s' showcase meeting of the season, I believe it should be all F1. Can't imagine a loons WF meeting restricting bookings for loons just so those pesky F1's can gatecrash the party. Just saying like..... Edited to alter the apostrophe for plural possession.

Maybe this is the wrong thread, but these stupid pre race start times are regular occurrence. Whilst there's currently debate on the future of the sport, forums for fans and promoters etc, maybe this issue could be mentioned particularly as it's simple to address.

Thing is, if there was a booking list this at this point as offered by the promoters / brisca / bscda etc then Carl H would have included that info in the original post or any subsequent updates. So imo there's no point in asking for info that obviously isn't available at this stage and it's a safe bet that Carl will add that info as soon as it is available. ..

Not too early to post the information that is currently available, but I'm definitely with bm7921 on this one. His post sums it up perfectly.

As this has gone waaay off topic - I believe there is a cap on the fines. So if you are a high earner and earn £50k a week, you won't be fined £50k, you will only be fined the amount the cap is set as, which will equate to a small percentage of your weekly income. Low earners of course will have to pay the full amount in terms of percentages. But then again, should 2 people be fined different amounts for identical offences, regardless of what income? Wrong forum me thinks. ....

Why would they need to practice opening the pit gates? Surely they've been doing it long enough to know what to do by now.

Thanks for clarifying that. I had looked at the official website which did in fact state 6.30 so that made 6.30 stated twice and 5.00 stated once so there was still an element of doubt but I didn't want to overcomplicate things. Thanks again.

Just noticed the first advert on this thread says start time 6.30 and the second one says 5.00. Does anyone actually know when it starts? Getting beyond a joke are these conflicting start times...

I'd just like to add my thanks to the results team too along with the admin team for all their behind the scenes efforts. I always check the results thread and probably like most stoxnet users at worst take it for granted or at least rarely spend 20 seconds to let you all know your efforts are very much appreciated. So for every time I don't post my thanks just reread this!

Quick update - By Mon Dec 20th, everything that has been paid for AND name and address details sent via a seperate email will either have already been sent, or will be sent on Mon Dec 20th. Last posting day before Xmas is supposed to be Tue Dec 21st. There are still some payments which have been made which haven't given name and address details, despite reminder emails being sent. I can't send those orders without name and address details! If those details are sent asap, it's still possible i may be able to get all orders to date sent out by last pre Xmas posting date.

Ok, firstly big thanks to all those who've ordered these DVDs. Some should already have arrived over the last few days. I'm now at the stage where I can't guarantee any orders placed after this point (Dec 13) will be able to be sent before last posting before Xmas (Dec 21). I'll try and compile any further orders as fast as I can (as I have been doing with previous orders) and may be able to get a few more compliled and sent by the 21st, but can't give a cast iron guarantee. For those who have already placed orders but have not received the DVDs yet, things are on schedule to guarantee that orders placed on or before Dec 13 will be sent before Dec 21. So if that's you, don't panic - I'm on the case! Also a reminder that any orders (previous or future) will need to send a seperate email giving name and address, as these details aren't showing up on payment notifications at my end for some reason. There are still some payments received that didn't have a follow up name and address email and have not replied to my reminder emails. Thanks, Rich
