  1. Multi formula clip now uploaded - http://media.putfile.com/070512-13-Skg 12mb - check out that rainbow during the minis! Sorry, it was just me - Nick wasn't there. 2nd cam was back straight, but it's not on the DVDs. 2 main reasons, one - I've found if cars are coming at 2 cams from the same direction, it actually looks confusing and detracts from the continuity, and two, it's taken till now to get the DVDs finished without integrating any back straight footage. I know how Nick feels now !!!!!!
  2. A 2x DVD set of the F1 2007 UK Open Speed Weekend at Super Skeg is listed on ebay. Item no - 130115438820 Although I've virtually given away previous 'hobby' DVDs, I don't feel it's morally right to go undercutting Skeggy Stadium, so I've had to list this at a 'proper' price - £14.99 + £1.49 p&p for the two DVDs. It's also destined to appear for sale at Skeg Stadium in the near future. I'm hoping to add a video clip of some of the drier bits soon.
  3. Usual stuff. For those who've not seen these before, here's a few FAQ - What's on it? - 100s of multi formula clips, showing the best smashes, crashes & bashes captured over 27 meetings from late 2006 - May 2007. Running time? - 87 minutes. As the F1 season didn't commence till later than some formulas, F1s don't appear properly until 42 minutes. How much? - £3 £3? - Yes, and that includes UK delivery! Does it come with a pretty cover? - Nope, just a basic contents inlay. I'm trying to distribute this as cheap as possible. It's just not possible to put everything I've captured on the 'net. Will owning this disc make me a more attractive person? - No. Try reading the book How To Win Friends & Influence People. Should I get the disc anyway? - Yes. For postal payment details, either PM or email rich.griffATntlworld.com - replacing AT with @ - This keps the spambots away. For those who have paypal and can get it to work, click below (or copy and paste in to your address bar) http://digitalred.com/a/8076ce
  4. Firstly, thanks to all those who took delivery of the 2006 DVDs I churned out, and I hope they filled a few closed season hours. I'm not expecting any more interest (particularly as the original thread seems to have vanished), but the fact is I'm going to need to reclaim some hard drive space soon. So, just in case anyone was still considering it, the F2 set will be deleted after Fri 2nd March 2007 and the F1 set will be given the boot after Fri 23rd March 2007. The Brisca / Banger DVDs will still be available for the foreseeable future as they don't take up as much space. There may be some spare F1 / F2 copies left after the above dates, but I won't be making any additional ones. Hope this doesn't sound like a 'last chance' high pressure message - it's not intended to.
  5. Anything ordered yesterday is being sent today. I'm up to date as things stand. I have sent a PM though, to check who the girlfriend is, so I can match user names up to real names. I think last post before Christmas is Tuesday 19th Dec - don't put any orders off till then as that would make delivery before Christmas very unlikely, plus as the packages being sent out are quite big, they may not go via Royal Mail's normal 'small letter' procedure. Of course, if they have to go via Santa, that will take a bit longer too......
  6. A few more were posted today, which should mean that everything ordered to date has now been despatched. Anyone left waiting should expect delivery in a day or two. I'm finally on top of the job!
  7. Thanks for all the positive comments. Any outstanding F2 orders at this stage will definately be received before Xmas - early next week in fact. Outstanding F1 sets will also be received by Xmas, some more of which will be sent today and early next week. Sorry if anyone's being kept waiting, this has proved to be a bit more popular than I anticipated. If it's any consolation - the longer anyone has been waiting, the higher the chances are of them being next Have to say though, that as things stand, I'm really at the point where I can't promise any further orders will definately arrive by Xmas. I'll try my best, which is what I've been doing already, but really can't promise. I will of course continue to send every order asap, even though that may mean after Xmas for any further orders. One kind user has contacted me saying they're not in a rush, and don't mind dropping down the queue and waiting till after Xmas, so that will allow one more set to be squeezed in before Xmas.
  8. Necessary update - sorry for bringing back to the top. All F2 and Incident vol 3 discs ordered to date have now been despatched. Anyone expcteing delivery of these and not receiving them within a couple of days, feel free to send me a stinking message! F1 sets are still being completed and sent as quickly as possible. If it's any consolation to those who are waiting, I spend my time pacing the floor, biting my fist and yelling "Come on, hurry up!! " And there I was, thinking now the season is over, I'd have more spare time.... Adam, it depends what colour mascara suits you...
  9. Answered via PM. No-one has been forgotten, but if anyone has any concerns don't be shy about sending a message. Also, the tooz sets will be sent out this week to those who have ordered.
  10. Whilst this it at the top etc..... Glad those who have received and watched them are happy with them. Adam - in reply to your suggestion, I'll offer student discount on production of a Uni card and a 5000 word thesis on why stock car racing is magic 4 discs in one day???????? Words like out and more spring to mind Long wait till Boxing Day for some - box clever and get the tooz set before then Now the covers are sorted, I can get more sent off and am treating outstanding deliveries on a 1st come 1st basis as stated earlier. It's only fair, and I'm banging them out as fast as possible. Trust me - Mrs. LER is going ape! Some overseas (Dutch) ones are due to be sent, but just someting I should mention about those - I sent something else to The Netherlands at the begining of September, which after a few weeks seemed it wasn't going to arrive. So, I made another despatch at the end of September. That didn't arrive either. I was in the process of making a 3rd attempt to send, when I received an email today, saying both items had arrived today (24th Nov) postmarked with the dates I sent them. I've sent other non stock car things overseas from my ebay (shameless plug for discount make-up & cosmetics if you're stuck for ideas for Xmas pressies) with no problems and reasonable delivery times though. Obviously delivery is beyond my control, and I will resolve anything that NEVER arrives, but it's just something the Dutch may want to be aware of.
  11. Sorry about the delay - DVDs ready, just waiting for delivery the posh covers.
  12. Yo Ho Ho. Absolutely before then. F1 sets are all but ready, F2 sets should be ready this week and the first few Brisca / Banger discs have already been sent. Even the Royal Mail should get them delivered before Christmas
  13. I never like replying to my own threads, as it seems like bumping, but as you ask - 18 hours after the end of season - here's the latest for all who have ordered.... Unsurprisingly, the most interest has been for the F1 set, so my intention is to give the F1 sets priority regarding completion and delivery. For those who have ordered the F1 set along with any of the other DVDs, I will send the F1 set first and then send anything else outstanding asap afterwards seperately. I think that's better than delaying till everything is done. The sets have been compiled as much possible throughout the season, so both the F1 & F2 sets just need the last DVD to be edited and compiled, and the final clips adding to the Incident DVD. I'm going to try and finish the F1 set today and run off the neccesary amount of copies from the 12th finished 'master'. This isn't something I intend to rush - I burn the discs at the slowest possible speed to minimise the chance of sending out dodgy discs. I've found Mrs. LER's PC does a better job than mine at burning, so I'm using hers. She is not a happy bunny - while I've taken over her PC, her eBay empire is crumbling as she can't use it I'm hoping by the time the required amount of sets are finished, I'll have taken delivery of the inlays / covers from our excellent graphic designer So..... if all goes to plan (does it ever?), the F1 sets will be finished and sent over the next few days, with the other titles sent a few days after that. I've just about enough sets almost completed to send to all those who pre-ordered. Please be aware that any more orders will have to be done on a first come, first served basis, as what with work, commitments, slow burning speed etc, it will only be possible to make one set per day from this stage. Finally, all the 'masters' have been checked from start to finsih. Obviously there are not enough hours in the day to completely check every disc I send out, but random checks are made. So, I'm not expecting any problem discs, but if anyone does receive a dodgy one, let me know along with which number disc, and I'll send out a checked replacement.
  14. I will do that, but for now, and for all those who have sent payment, I expect / hope to have these finished and sent during next week (as of date of posting).
  15. I hope it's ok to add this whilst this post is at the top, and not be accused of 'bouncing'. Re the F1 running time, it's probably more like 18 hours, and not 15 as originally stated (that'll be one long Boxing Day!) Also, with the previous season's set, it was only during mid season that it occured to me it was possible to do a highlights set, so it was a case of salvaging what earlier footage was still available, and some parts were a bit scrappy for that reason. I'm hoping those who receive this year's set(s) will find it / them more structured and complete compared to last time. Pre orders will be sent out asap on completion as promisied - unless I get enough orders to fund a one-way plane ticket to Brazil...... Only kidding!
  16. After posting numerous video clips throughout the season to the Stoxnet video gallery and others, it's almost time to put everything together at full quality on DVD. 3 seperate DVD compilations will be available mid November 2006 - advance orders can be accepted for priority despatch on completion. 17. Before you go spending or poking around just try this, as this has happened to me on a few occassions, and reading PC mags help columns etc, it seems to be a common quirk. Basically, during use, some application etc may have muted or turned down your sound. Bottom right of your screen, next to the clock is the system tray (?). There should be a loudspeaker icon there, if not, expand using the arrow to reveal all the icons. Double click the speaker icon to open the play control window. In the play control window, make sure all volume sliders are at a decent level (about half way up or so) and also make sure none of the boxes marked MUTE are ticked - if they are, untick them before closing the play control window. It might not solve your problem, but it's worth having a go for 10 seconds.
  18. I've sent a couple of these out with the wrong inlay / menu. Any discs arriving reading VOL 1 on the cover are probably VOL 2 with a VOL 1 cover. Disregard the cover and try the disc. Anyone receiving VOL 2 wanting the correct cover, PM or email and I will send one on. Obviously if any incorrect discs have been sent out, then I'll replace the disc with the proper cover.
  19. Paypal link now added - https://www.paypal.com/cgi-bin/webscr?cmd=_...charset=UTF%2d8
  20. Brisca & Banger Incident 2006 DVD vol 2 Enough video clips have been captured to fill another DVD to the brim, 74 minutes. Some have previously been posted on the Stoxnet Video Gallery and will be again when it rises from the ashes, but here on 1 DVD is 100s of previously unposted clips. Crashes, smashes & bashes from 21 meetings between May and August. Lots of different formulas, including F1s, F2s, Loons, Bangers, Legends, Rebels, Minis etc + a few offbeat moments. Parental Guidance - includes the Coventry streaker ! All this for a wild £3 inclusive of postage & packing. Hoping to add a paypal link, but payment details etc can also be provided via PM or email to rich.griff@ntlworld.com
  21. Not wishing to hijack another user's thread..... next 'incident' DVD nearly ready - contains above material
  22. As previously, it's not possible to share every DV camcorder captured incident via the video gallery, so here's every captured incident to date, squeezed on to a DVD. Full capacity 72 minutes of multi formula action - F1s, F2s, bangers, minis, loons, V8s, etc ranging from carnage to the plain silly. Footage from 22 meetings from the start of the year up to the UK open. Despatched in a slim plastic CD case for the silly price of £2.50 + 50p p&p = £3 total. (overseas £2.50 + £1.50 p&p = £4 total) Payment by paypal, cheque or postal order (cash at own risk). For postal payment details, either send a PM or email rich.griff@ntlworld.com Click here to buy via Paypal with UK postage Click here to buy via Paypal with Worldwide postage
  23. I think it's an unwritten agreement that postage on ebay actually covers stamps, envelopes/packaging, eBay listing fees and paypal's cut on any payment. On that basis, anything posted for under £1 or so would actually make a loss. Fees aren't charged on postage either, as they are on sales, so it's better to list something for £500 postage and 90p sale than it is 90p postage for a £500 sale. I hope you're all paying attention - I'll be asking questions later.
  24. Am I in ??? - #6 ?
