  1. 101 also raced at Birmingham, so this was his second appearance of 2017. Thanks for the results!
  2. It's not a nothing meeting to me. It's a chance to see F1's at my local track, and my dad's first meeting since the WF, he's been looking forward to this for weeks, so for a few reasons, I am looking forward to this. Hoping a few drivers that just like racing at Brafield turn up and put on a good show.
  3. Skegness Stadium Facebook page states that a booking list for this event will be posted mid way through next week.
  4. 337 is booked in for Belle Vue on Monday.
  5. For what it's worth, I'm looking forward to this meeting too. My first visit to Wimbledon for 10 years and I can't wait to see the Loons there. Expecting a lot of action. The Superstox I always enjoy on the occasions I get to see them, and the reality is, BriSCA F1 have only ever been a 'guest' formula at Spedeworth tracks since 1996, so for what amounts to an 'out of season' guest appearance, will be happy to see anyone that makes the effort to support the meeting. Glad it's a sell out, the stadium should be getting the respect it deserves from the 'stock car racing family'. As Colin mentions, the sport comes full circle in London, and I'm pleased as fans we have the chance to say our own farewell in a small way.
  6. Thanks to Jane and Nic for all the info throughout the season. Will often refer to the results thread even if I'm at the meeting. Invaluable service and would also like to thank Ricky Lee James for the shootout points updates and young Riggerman, Roy B, Anson and all the contributors to the gallery from the meetings too. Where would we be without Stoxnet? Long may it continue!
  7. You have to pay for quality Dave!
  8. Drivers Newsletter says start time 5.30pm PLEASE NOTE EARLY START TIME. Perhaps Jeremy could confirm whether it's 5.30pm or 6.15pm to prevent anyone from missing the first race due to conflicting info.
  9. Sworder was fenced in heat one (dnf), 12th in heat two, and flat tyre in the final (dnf).
  10. For what it's worth, I am quietly looking forward to this meeting. Last season, all the supposed 'low key' meetings at NIR were very good, plenty of action etc, so looking for more of the same. Saw the Hot Rods on Good Friday and they were ok, not amazing, not absolutely stultifying, just ok. Last time I saw the supers was on a Weds night at Eastbourne a few years back. At least I'll know Bradderz, oh and that bloke in 150 as well.
  11. Ex F2 driver John Lund. Had a go in Jimmy Wallace's car at an Aycliffe meeting in the 1980s I believe!
  12. Thanks Hary for all the results from Holland.
  13. Cheers Hary. Look forward to seeing Dave on track. Always gives 100%.
  14. Thanks for the results Hary. Good to see Dave Schaap back on track. Hope to see him at the World Cup
  15. Thanks for the results today Hary.
  16. LD Front and rear axles for sale, straight off of a wagon, never been raced. £200 ONO. Collection from Wakefield. Tel 07854950297 Graham Gascoigne.
  17. What is the expected lead/delivery time for the book please? Ordered mine 29th Nov. Thanks in advance. PS Well done Colin.
  18. Have tried emailing SCA Recordings and also DH videos (who have West Yorkshire TV tapes of Odsal) but no joy there either.
  19. Would anyone have kicking around, gathering dust, videos of the following meetings from the 1994 season that would be available to purchase? KL 5/6/94 - Odsal 25/6/94 - Skegness 17/7/94. Thanks.
  20. Oh Aye!! Think I raced at 4 Cov's in 1994 - need to try and get the May meeting too. Also tried to contact Jack Barber via email to order some other videos from that year but either I have the wrong email addy or he doesn't want to sell them to me!!!!
  21. Cheers Baz! Will do!!
  22. I am trying to track down a couple of videos/DVD's from Coventry 1994. 2nd July and 1st October meetings. I think JSD videos would have filmed these meetings. Does anyone know if these tapes would still be available to purchase?
  23. Just completed the purchase of 15 programmes from various 1980s meetings covering Blackburn, Rochdale, Belle Vue, Odsal, White City. All received promptly in A1 condition and at a good price too. Excellent.
  24. My copy arrived today (cheers Les) and I've just finished watching. Absolutely brilliant and a must for stock car fans old and new. Great to see Bradford when it was tarmac, and tracks I never visited such as White City and Rochdale. Tyne Tees coverage of the 1982 British at Hartlepool was very good as was the Coventry meeting and the Euros from Brafield. Even spotted 176 on the grid at the Coventry meeting!! 10 out of 10. More please.
  25. Just watched my copy too!! Great stuff Les, cheers!! I've seen some other stuff Screensport did and was excellent, how we could do with that sort of coverage now. The 1000 race at Belle Vue was brilliant and Sheffield was its old destructive self, but it was great to see drivers again who have long since retired from the sport. One thing made me smile - Glyn Daft and Wayne Handley being named as 'George' and 'Walter' respectively........
