  1. Ha Ha - Didn't even notice i'd spelt Sarge's name wrong ! I am enjoying the banter to, they're great. They could expand the inbetween race stuff with text stuff . Have some fun with it. They could even have a little contest between each other, to predict the Top 3 in each race, with a points system for right predictions. But no text stuff whilst racing in progress .......................... Please Thanks again to ALL involved in producing this alternative to the real thing, and to the Drivers giving their all from home 👌
  2. Thanks for your responses JC to the issues you have, moving on This example from another thread (and i presume it uses the same template as yours) shows how simple one camera can make it easy to follow what's going on. It also uses zoom to get close to the action on the bends. And i agree Steve, The De Kock joke was funny 1st time. To expand on what i've already said, maybe Serge should have his mobile on Silent. Perhaps kept in his pocket in vibrator mode. There Serge, i'm feeding you another line to play with .........................
  3. To the Producers of the Stream who are clearly still experimenting I found week 2 much easier to watch than week 3 Week 2 was a huge improvement in following the racing continuity. Week 3 seemed to revert back to disjointed jumping about from one angle to another. Overall , still a treat though 👍 and Serge should try ignoring texts during a race ......................
  4. Ben that's brilliant. Thanks for posting. I love the way the cars react when they hit the tyres ! No 84 at the end, seemed to be having some kind of Fit on the tyres. I'm now looking forward to the Grand re-opening of Brandon. It's got to happen ..... And Steve, I expect Mr Sargent was using Graham Brown as his mentor . Wonder how many bottles / cans were necked !!
  5. I don't know who produced this (in the other thread) but this is what it should look like ....................................... in my opinion Overall it was a great escape from dreadful Saturday tv . One of the Commentators should maybe start drinking a little later .......................... perhaps ?
  6. 👍 He's an absolute Star He would be great to have on the roving microphone , interviewing Drivers before & after races. Naturally funny guy. We need more characters like him.
  7. The result of this was never in doubt Pointless holding back the winner as it's bloomin' obvious !
  8. A bit of factual information. Of the 39 cars that raced at the first meeting, 14 of them are not currently booked in to race this Saturday. And we have 16 drivers booked in or this Saturday that did not race at the first meeting. And 25 at both meetings. So, could this be a further 14 possible bookings (at least ) ? Brilliant if Stoke could get a huge send off Andy - Great snap of the scene from Airplane Do you like films about Gladiators ?
  9. Bryan It's getting to the stage on here where one has to deploy your pre-post declaration , before saying anything ! Well Done Totally agree with your observation. It's still early doors, so it wouldn't surprise me to see the number nearer to 50 by weekend. Looks like Dan has gone into hibernation for this year, which is a pity, as he goes well at Stoke.
  10. This end of season Pantomime has got my juices flowing to. No-one seems to be able to deal with Tom on track , so this off track entertainment will fill the gap. I'm guessing that race 12a is how to avoid having an unlucky race. If 'Tribute to Stoke' is a race of any kind, then i'll be bunkered. That's real cryptic. Now i must dash, I've got grass to cut, Brexit to prepare for, clinkers to riddle and pots to side Adios . Should be a great meeting btw , Count me in
  11. I had wondered if it was the Venray Ben Howerd car, but it looks so new ! Hope he bags loads of points as a reward for all the effort
  12. Will C meant that Sunday is a Shootout meeting, and not a WCQR as well Saturday is both !
  13. Casey has really impressed me this year (amongst others) One to keep an eye on this weekend. Nice to see Parking free. It wasn't at the previous meeting.
  14. Cheers for responses. I should've picked that up from the picture. Are ORCi mini drivers still youngsters & Could drivers race in both formula or is there strict rules that forbid it ? £36 for these two meetings seems like good value for money . Well done Rob
  15. Skegness always seem to deliver a great mixed bag of goodies to tempt the paying punters off their sofas. A weekend of Silver & Gold !! Not F1, but what's the difference between National Ministox (Saturday) and ORCi minis (Sunday) ?
  16. Do you mean me Stox ? Very wrong if you do. I absolutely love Skegness. I was there at the last weekender and will be there for the next. I'm delighted that both days will be Shootout rounds That's an interesting theory about two rounds each Promoter. On further investigation it's Belle Vue Promotions get 4, Incarace - 3, Kings Lynn - 1 and Rob - 2 But maybe it is that Incarace get 3 (for whatever reason) and they chose Mildenall over Hednesford Perhaps the Promoters 'buy' Shootout rounds , in the same way that they buy dates ??
  17. Some great writing there Nealius I personally agree with everything Betwetter has put in his post. You have cleverly questioned every morcel of his post, But not many answers or opinions on his points. Then you've cleverly criticised my opinion without offering an opinion of your own. I'd really like to hear your opinion, in your unique style, on Incarace advertising this as a Shootout round for several weeks, when it wasn't. Similarly, your opinion please on the the fixture list. Skeggy getting two Shootouts and Hednesford not getting one at all. People campaigned for :- Votes for Women, LGBT rights, and currently, the environment, to name but a few. You don't get change where there are issues, without someone standing up and telling the world we need change. Ozzy (like myself) is very passionate about this Sport. He continuously campaigns for cost cutting measures to help stop the rot. That's all he can do until someone listens. Also you're making interpretations of people's posts as being fact. But not a major issue really. All in all though, Great stuff. Keep it up. Opinions are what foruming is all about. and Best of all, you didn't use the word 'moan' ................. extra Brownie points for that
  18. If anyone can't understand the negativity about this, they should actually look at it realistically to understand If you turned up at Kings Lynn World Final, and they said Oh, it's not the world final at all , I'm sure you would feel as i do about this. Hitting the keyboards to type 'moan' & 'moans' is not the answer. It's a favourite get out of jail card for quite a few on here. And Yes Paul, i agree, Luke Davidson is a great bloke. His cars, his team, him himself, are a credit to the Sport. I admire Nic's positivity especially, as he gave Hednesford a race rating of zero for the British. Glad he's forgiven the promoter. Time is a great healer. I'm sure it will be for me, and i'll do the same. I'm guessing the Incarace website is being updated and that's why it's not showing accurately at the moment. If you click the running order link, it shows two heats for F1's, Final & GN. 11 Races in total On a positive note, Hednesford is thee best track we have. Incarace do slick well run meetings and run them professionally. Great uniforms on the staff, and i love the Pace Car touch
  19. F1 and F2 are both support formulas on Sunday. The headline act is the Saloon Stock Car ORC Championship. In defence of F2s though, they do have a clashing meeting at St Day which will have taken some of the drivers that would normally travel up to Hednesford from the south west, and some drivers may be taking time out prior to the Shootout starting next week with a Taunton/Bristol double header. I had thought there must be another meeting for the f2's Precisely my thoughts I was looking forward to seeing my first shootout round at Hednesford ever Last time i looked on Incarace site, it definitely was a shootout round, as someone else has pointed out earlier. That is what niggles me. How they got that wrong is anyone's guess. It doesn't help that the two stars attending are also a team . Luke works as Tom's wing man, especially evident at Ipswich in June. No need for that here, as there will be no-one for Luke to hold back from challenging Tom. 30 odd cars all in at Hednesford would have been awesome
  20. Sadly Paul, I doubt whether anyone with my common sense approach to administration stands a chance of being on either committee. I know why some drivers aren't going, which is why there's an issue with car numbers and people are disappointed. In another thread, I'm trying to find out who decided that this wouldn't have shootout status, so that i can ask them why not. And I'll repeat, Car numbers is not a major issue for me personally.
  21. Agreed Carl, but I have been holding back on my traditional 'support formula' comment. 😉 If F1 are now the support formula with 20 cars, What are the F2's with 16 cars ? ! This meeting should have been given shootout status, and Skeggy only given one for it's speed weekend. That would have helped increase car numbers ( & therefore paying customers) Thanks for answering my 422 question by the way, only just seen it.
  22. I definitely read somewhere that this was a shootout meeting And it should be, especially with so few tarmac rounds. Are the powers that be not able to sign off a few papers to make it one ? They can ban a driver within 24 hours for whatever, but are unable to deploy common sense when the Sport needs all the help it can get. It's Bonkers. And if that's not bad enough, Kings Lynn is announced as World Final venue for 2nd year in succession. And it didn't take you long Bryan, as per usual, to moan about people having an opinion
