Ive got a dvd of some World of Sport coverage but unforuntly its only hotrods (Lee & Polley!) and GP midgets and some less than super looking super-stox ploding around Wimbo.

The 1000 racewas good, how close where Lund and Close to the fence on the bends at full speed and then the hits started, how they held there cars out of the fence I dont know! Both of Les's DVD's are great, well worth the few pennys hes asking. Why oh why wasnt I born a couple of decades earlier!

Here's one for you Les or anyone else, I see Les has the footage of Tiff in Des Chandlers F1 at Coventry which I saw on the fog box as a young lad but does anyone remember or have on tape the episode of Recorld breakers that had Andy Smith when he was champ racing some lad on a massive scalextrix track?? I think some 'Bazdad' tapped over my recording of it!

Yeah this is one of the problems hampering us from getting anywhere to start with, although Ive been told some very naughty people where spotted filming (the cheek) the WF and are thought to be of Westcountry origin. its just a case of tracking them down! So if you speak with a funny accent, like apples and happened to stand on turn 2 at Barford last September please get in touch!

Wanted 2004 Barford World Final video footage. Unfortunately problems with the Barford video mans equipment means that there was no official recording of last years World Final at Barford won by Bill Batten, In light of this I have taken it upon myself to hunt down F2 fans who filmed the race from the banks around the track in an attempt to put together a video of the WF race/meeting to keep my own collection (and possibly others) of F2 world final races in tact. Fellow race fan Stephen has is also keen to re-live the race once more so much so he has offered his services if people where to forward with footage. Stephen has recently started filming at meetings he attends and uploads clips to 'Stoxnets' video page see; http://www.stoxnet.com/videos/author.php?r=587 (Author Waz29) Stephen is wiling to edit together any footage that is passed his way, the more footage the better the end product would be. If you do happen to film the 2004 WF or meeting please get in touch with me, it was a good WF race with the likes of Batten,Moodie and Goldin mixing it from the start, Goldin loosing time and clawing his way back only to get into trouble again and again whilst Sworder, Thakra, Kitson, Farrell, Thompson battled away. Just as 167 looked to be home and dry a stoppage bunched the pack up with Batten nearly buried himself on the first bend of the restart Broach slipped by and lead the race despite starting on the back of the grid. Some Batten bumper work moved the local man aside to claim a forth gold on his 57th birthday! Its almost enough to bring a tear to your eye and nearly criminal that a video or DVD of the occasions isn't available/doesn't exist for future generations to see for themselves.
