Just come back to spectating after 12 years away from the sport. Looking to meet old friends and adversaries around the terraces for nostalgia...or maybe that pint you owe me
  1. oops...jumped the gun a bit there...full list of prizes etc posted today on another thread. Excellent effort from all and a really good feature of the gala night Well done everybody Here's till next year Cheers Richie
  2. Just out of interest. Is there a list of who won what from the prize list? Did every entrant in the U25 receive something?? Just curious Cheers Richie
  3. I was just looking at the driver list and noticed that car 217 is entered...so who's driving that then..Peter Pan??? I was wondering who should get my tyre prize and can now understand why Derek Fairhurst suggested I award it to the oldest finisher !!! Still undecided on who should get it....any suggestions anybody ??
  4. I've just emailed Dianne Abbott and she has confirmed there are 275 F1 cars booked in !!!!!
  5. I know I'm usually selling F1 tyres but in this instance I could do with some help Anyone out there can sell me a couple of solid tyres for my fork truck 7.00-12...I need 2-off preferably part used (cheap!) (If I said that my current tyres are so worn that the truck bottoms out when on tilt, you will understand !!!!) Cash awaiting Cheers Richie
  6. Hello LukeA You can buy the weekend ticket (wristband) at the gate welcome centre from Friday afternoon onwards. We usually have a drive down Friday evening to get the wrist bands and you can take the opportunity to walk around the stadium and track while its quiet...get a feel for the place and watch others arrive!...and then back into Venray town for some food (and drink!)
  7. P.S....sorry we hijacked Adam's thread !!!
  8. Yes Dave there is a camping area right next to the track. Not sure if you need to book in advance so check the Venray website. Venray is close to the German border so you could visit Dusseldorf (the Altstadt, old town, is good at night) and also there is a big interesting open-air military museum near the track at a place called Overloon.
  9. Don't know too much about the nitty gritty of car build but had an idea that transit back axles were used. Bloke next to me was scrapping a transit so I nicked the back axle..single wheeler. Any good to anybody? I'm located in Cheshire near to Northwich, Chester etc.
  10. A bit last minute but I'm leaving from my place - Mouldsworth, Chester - and go via Northwich and down M6 to Cov. Leaving aprox 3.30-4.00 in AudiTT so could take one plus maybe a small one...small bench seat in back!....A bit last minute but contact me if interested Cheers Madcap
  11. And in anticipation of the weekend weather the Buxton shops are stocked with latest fashions for the stock car ladies.
