  2. There has been a problem in America with a harware issue on the main server which is unlikely to be fixed for a couple of days. Thanks to Nik Eastwood for working Christmas Day on moving the website on to a temporary server so it is currently available. Kids Club passes are accepted - The meetings on SUNDAY & MONDAY [ F1 SUNDAY] GO AHEAD AS SCHEDULED F1 212 Danny Wainman

I think Steph has put lists up [ around 20 F1's I believe - not had time to think ] - Danny W 212 is now added as a provisional if they can finish engine - picking parts up Christmas Eve!! If there is anything to tell you - ie 6 foot drifts, blizzards - I will personally update you BOXING DAY! Thanks to everyone for their support in 2009 and on behalf of Jackie and myself wish you all a very Happy Christmas and prosperous New Year.
  4. To answer a few questions - Yes we have had snow and Sundays programme now sees an added couple of formulae in Reindeer Rcaing and a SnowMobile Demolition Derby At the moment the track is in good order and the meeting/s definately goes ahead - There are currently 20 F1's booked in together with Bangers and the awesome Open Wheeler GrassTrack cars [ around 20 all in ]
  5. Startrax has two events on SUNDAY 27th and MONDAY 28th December at BELLE VUE MANCHESTER. Most will only be interested in Sunday which features F1's and GrassTrackers including `Specials' and Startrax Bangers. DISCOUNT TICKETS HAVE BEEN LEFT ON UNTIL LAST POST DATE FOR CHRISTMAS - Likewise, a few people have requested a bit longer for Season tickets so they remain on sale this week. We also have available ideal Christmas Gifts with `OPEN' GIFT VOUCHERS ' - YOU CHOOSE THE AMOUNT AND DECIDE WHEN YOU WANT TO COME AT THE TIME. Again, these will remain available this week, Drivers should refer to the excellent incentive package available at both BV and KL seperately and book in. Fuller info on www.startrax.info - Meeting Info/ Preview will be posted on 17th December.
  6. Despite the torrential rain the event raised £1710.00 - A full press release will be issued in due course. Thank you to everyone who supported this event in what was torrential rain until at least start time.
  7. As far as I know both are doing the event and Lundy booked in a couple of days ago - will ensure a drivers list goes up tomorrw [ if it has not already gone up ] catching up after two lengthy F1 meets yesterday and last night. Press Releases from The Management Board - As promised, I raised your points and this will be addressed by the end of the month. We do issue Releases to the sports magazines although proceeds from Gala Night may well not have been - There are a number of things to announce in the coming weeks once concluded including the forthcoming event so we will wrap them up together.
  8. Hopefully you will come along Waz as it is a quality entry. As previously stated, as a 1/6th member of the MB will apologise if we have not issued the information and will bring it up tonight - It may be that the info which is readily available has been only circulated to the BSCDA and BriSCA promoters and, as this is `for the good of the sport' as investors so to speak you have every right to know. Like all things they take time to grow and catch on - I can from memory say that the crowd levels a both events were mid 900's - and proceeds were around what I previously suggested. Adding the Grand National Championship to it this year hopefully will provide a boost. What I can assure you is every penny is ringfenced and accounted to and is strictly reserved to be only used for forwarding the sport - like NEC. We need to grow the pot to achieve and fund bigger things in the future.
  9. I believe the amounts raised have been publicised via MB Press Releases [ but I may be mistaken and it may have been an oversight ] - they have not been vast - but welcome - and partially funded / enabled, for example a much bigger presence at the NEC last January with an even better promotion planned for January 2010 which, hopefully, will be finalised in a planning meeting this Saturday. From little acorns grow - and all that! The funds raised are transparent and ring fenced and I think - and will double check, the two inaugural years raised around 7k in total, some of which has been invested into the NEC in '09 and planned for 2010. My personal `ideal' would be to see the fund grow over a few years to allow us as a sport to do something really `special' rather than spend it in dribs and drabs. At the same time you need some contingency in case of a disastrous event. You have raised a valid point however in terms of communication which I will bring up at tomorrows MB meeting.

Just 32 points split the top three moving into the pivotal rounds of the 2009 National Series for BriSCA Formula One Stock Cars at OWLERTON STADIUM - Sheffield this coming Sunday 25th October at 1.pm! For Horsepower followers Sunday's event is shaping up to a classic as 31 points splits Yorkshire man Frankie Wainman Junior from leader Stuart Smith with brother Andy just a single point behind Wainman, it is game on as the series for the coveted silver roof reaches it's climax and the penultimate weekend before the big shoot out a week later with DOUBLE POINTS on offer at the finale at Belle Vue, so every point at Owlerton will count.
