  2. LATEST GORDON MOODIE #7 ON HIS WAY TO BELLE VUE TONIGHT WEATHER AT SHEFFIELD DRY, track watered lightly at 9.am BELLE VUE currently DRY, little or no rain, showers forecast this afternoon
  3. I have posted additions and deletions for SHEFF / BVUE Around 42/43 at Sheffield, added 33 & 55 with at least two others expected 70 & 261 have cancelled - additions expected including 33 and others around 34 BV Excellent car turnouts all formulae - only one dissapointing V8'smid teens
  4. Add 33 Peter Falding for SHEFF & B VUE, At least 2 Other F1's are likely to be there taking the Sheffield car count into around 42 and BV around 34
  5. ADD 55 Craig Finnikin F1 for Sheffield, remove 70 John Walker TOTAL 39 ADD 223 Gary Townsend F1 Belle Vue remove 70 John Walker Delete 191 F2 Belle Vue blown engine
  6. F2 BOOKINGS NOW 63 - Bookings closed - ANYONE KNOW F2 DIFF SIZE FOR BELLE VUE - A wee lower grade Scottish driver would like to know F1's for both as stated, 18 V8's and 33 Minis [2/3rds]
  7. Unfortunately [for some ] Rob Bangers are a very big draw on a Bank Holiday - don't ask which formula would be dropped [ the answer is none in reality as all contribute to a great evening] if we were forced to make a choice, commercially it wouldn't be Bangers! However, we are starting a little earlier and DP is aiming to finish earlier at Buxton so hopefully the congestions and late arrivals that affected the opener will not be an issue. 39 BriSCA F1's at SHEFFIELD, 33 BriSCA F1's at BELLE VUE, 62 BriSCA F2's as of this morning. SHEFFIELD WILL 2 HEATS FORMAT, BELLE VUE 2/3RD FORMAT
  8. The booking lists will be published Friday, it's a fair bet that Sheffield will have more F1's than Belle Vue [slightly ] although that is a bit of a relief as BV is VERY full with it being an F2 QR! There are however `different' drivers booked for both meetings. 21 Has just also booked. We also anticipate late bookings Sunday/Monday after Coventry, the list will be updated again after Friday on Sunday evening. We decided to split the two F1 QR up this year with the inclusion of the F2 WCQR at the Vue. Traditionally May Day is the best audience of the year - and the Mike Parker Tribute is popular in this area.
  9. PLEASE REFER TO THE STARTRAX SITE FOR INFO ON DOUBLE HEADER TICKETS FOR MONDAY - ONLY AVAILABLE IN ADVANCE - CAN BE PREORDERED AND COLLECTED ON THE DAY -
  10. Just a note for F2 drivers - BOOKINGS FOR THIS MEETING CLOSE TONIGHT, it is virtually fully booked - IF you have booked and for any reason CANNOT RACE PLEASE CANCEL, drivers wanting to race - please book in today - it really would be most helpful, 59 F2's are booked as of AM today. F1 numbers are topping 30 already for Sheffield - Healthy grid of V8's and awaiting Ministox lists to come through. BOOKING LISTS WILL BE PUBLISHED FRIDAY AM FWJ is hoping to be back this weekend and 391 has already booked in for SHEFFIELD and 390 for SHEFF & BV
