I get on well with Dylan and of course appreciate he has held his hands up at the mistake.
Thinking from the official’s perspective though, he did fraudulently complete an official document; there is no escaping that unfortunately.
If Dylan competed again under the fake note; the insurance for ALL drivers will have been negated at that point; that is a huge risk.
I would expect this is the stance of the insurers now and why Dylan is unfortunately not permitted to race – from their view point the loss of trust has gone, you can’t expect any official form/ document to be genuine going forward; and it’s probably the insurers who are forcing the hand and saying “sorry no”.
I would love if Dylan raced an F1 and as he says he just wants to be on track, but I can understand the other side of the argument too.
