  2. cheers Paul, looks interesting will give it a watch
  3. loved Len's A1 Kits car, great memories thankyou
  4. Is the grid walk open to anyone or is it a pre-booked thing? What time is this scheduled please?
  5. Could you elaborate a bit please on how the view is restricted?
  6. I recall a World Final in the 80's at the old Belle Vue stadium when Stu Bamforth was promoter raffling a modest, brand new hatchback car as a prize, I think it was linked to your entry ticket number or seat number if memory serves. It certainly created a buzz round the place when the number was drawn, not sure if it was a celebrity or not who drew the winning ticket? Maybe do a promotional link-up with a Norfolk dealership & stage a mock 'race' with brand new saloon cars & some of the Brisca F1's, non-contact naturally! One or two celebs to drive the saloons & a big name to do the draw itself.....
  7. My mother tells me that back in 1972 whilst heavily pregnant she couldn't fit through the turnstile at Nelson & had to go through a side gate much to her embarassment!
  8. Excellent preview Carl, that's really whet the appetite for the British for me, looking at the longer term forecast we are in for a dry spell hope that doesn't ruin the racing with dust issues, get the sprinklers on Mr.Rees!
  9. Nicely written Jordan, an interesting read & some well researched stats too

  11. Hi Chris, im interested in purchasing a copy, is there any possibility that you could upload a brief sample to youtube or similar for a preview please?
  12. This is known in the trade as "polishing a turd", bit like when Subway advertise for "Sandwich Artists" to add cucumber & mayonnaise to punters' sandwiches. Its a binary choice, you either pays your money & go along or you sit at home yearning for 60 car meetings which isnt going to happen at Belle Vue this weekend for reasons already explained.
  13. Thats a seriously underwhelming booking list..... never a good thing when you focus your attention more on who isnt racing rather than who is. I guess the Masters is no longer the draw it has been in previous years for some drivers.
  14. Neil Randon book 'The Sound & The Fury', good condition, free postage to anywhere in the UK. £20 PM me please if interested
