  1. I did think it was good that number was staying in Rochdale Trimal, and I to have fond memories of racing round Morrisons car park, my favourite track, ahh well you're only 19 once
  2. Just a thought but do you think it might be something to do with planning, and advertised start times?, we might be best just shutting up and knowing the score, nudge nudge wink wink
  3. Because there isn't a F2 Stoxnet it makes you appreciate just how good and how much effort goes into the results thread for F1's on here..... But Sponge on FB does a good job for the F2's
  4. I am reliably in formed all four are seeded this year, for one reason or another, and also the four drivers are top drawer NZ super stocks drivers ok they might struggle in a one off tarmac race, ie the World final but I would love to see them do 2 or 3 shale meetings, as they don't race tarmac over there only clay, and even that's different to shale
  5. If anyone did can you direct me to where they are, please thanks
  6. Is the track really shorter?, I know it looks like it might have been longer at sometime on the first and second bends. I didn't go in '74, but have been going since '76 and it seems the same to me
  7. And I thought it was a long way to Cowdenbeath !! Top man
  8. Do a Bammy, semi final first race, 3 heats there after?
  9. Good another read, hope it's as in depth and behind the scenes as Overalls Off
  10. Stav I think you are right, taking F1's out I don't think would alter F2 numbers, Dave Wayne is talking about the '90s a lot has happened since then, especialy on tarmac
  11. Great service, thanks, don't wish to sound picky nic but I had 4 being spun by a train of cars headed by I think 338, not spinning himself
  12. Think you are right Graham at Sheffield, but the water cart at BV is terrible it just floods part of the track
  13. Is he sponsoring the next Sheffield as well ?
  14. Well Leigh, you were nearly right apparently DJ thought the yellows had already come out, ha ha nice one
  15. Leigh, I think your theory on the race caution is miles out, I ask ya waved yellows for slowing down what ever next?, I'm no where near the biggest DJ fan but something wound him up. In my book a stock car has 4 bumpers, one on each end and one down each side, fair play to him, I like a bit of blocking
  16. I agree Eddie 217 , but the tribute ceremony and doves of peace, release was very moving and the promotor and staff deserve credit for that. However the actual racing was only average, the minis dull and boring and the bangers rubbish. F2 OK. Someone noted that the F1 Grand National finished at 7:30. Surely that was the FINAL. It went on past that time , again well past 4hrs. DotD 217 Great final drive RR 5 David RA, I don't know if it's me or you being pedantic, but My Laps had the bonus W & Y race starting at 15.45 and HT 1 proper starting at 16.10, and the GN at 19.25. so that's 3 hours 15 mins in my book, not well over 4 hours. Credit where credits due Startrax
  17. Well bm7921, I don't usually agree with most things you say, and I have no probs with the moaning but I do agree the blasphemous start to the post was "completely out of order", I must be getting soft
  18. Good do, looks like we should be on for a ( my ) preferred proper 2 heat consi format
  19. Good to see some dual surface cars with good places in the final, well done
  20. Doh, short memory, cheers. Nelson 1972 no problem, last month no chance, ha ha
  21. I know there are lies, damn lies, and statistics, but which 11 car meeting got RR 9, or have I read it wrong?
  22. I like that Bernard, I didn't go so can't vote but I liked your summing up
  23. Chris24, it was Dick Zimmerman I think you are mixing him up with, a cracking name, almost as good as Jack Ollerenshaw and Marshal Winkley
