  1. You can drive at 16 if you have previously raced in Ministox. If you haven't, you have to be at least 18.

  3. The World 240's in January 2008 are being broadcast live on the internet. More details here.

It's the 365 Barry Stephen car. Link here
  5. Looks like she's popular.....
  6. Cheers Colin! Those are ace! You do realise that I'll now be pestering you for prints of them, don't you?
  7. How about some Knockhill pics, Colin?
  8. Let's hope it's 2/3rds and an all-in Final.
  9. I don't think that would be any use for a stock car?
  10. Let's hope the relevant authorities don't read this thread.
  11. Details of how to advertise in the various publications can be found in the magazines themselves.
  12. The first one! That's why I was asking. Well, actually, having once seen an 84 car banger race at Hednesford, which didn't last very long at all, I'd have to say that it is possible to have too many cars, yes.
  13. Does this mean we're on for 4 heats?
  14. Why don't you start with the driver that you mechanic for?
  15. The orange one might go a bit better this time, too.
  16. Looks like a decent turnout! Much better than the first Cowdie meeting in 2001 (I think?)
  17. Try this
  18. Do you have to order them in advance?
  19. Have you got any in a style that will fit me? I only have two arms and one head.
  20. Don't know, but I'm sure they'll tell you if you phone and ask. http://www.coventrymotorspeedway.com/contactsc.htm
  21. Right, well, if you're not going, then I'm not going either. Seriously, get a grip. It's a booking in list for drivers, not spectators, and don't forget that drivers have as much choice about going to meetings as spectators do.
  22. Most cars with FWJ Racing on them have been built and/or prepared by FWJ. He doesn't take them to the meetings or look after them, that's done by the team concerned. I presume that FWJ has some arrangement with Rob Whittaker (142) regarding transport to meetings and presumably storage of Rob's stock car, but you would have to speak him about the details. I believe Ray Witts also does a similar thing for John Walker. It sounds like you want to hire a car, rather than look after your own. NFR have a car that can be hired out for a meeting. Tel 0161 723 4012 Hope this helps.
  23. Of course it's official. It's a different product and is not made by Microsoft, but it will open and save most file formats used by Microsoft Office. It's also available for platforms other than Windows. The correct website is http://www.openoffice.org/
  24. I'd guess that Daniel's sense of humour is somewhere near Steve Rees', mine, and everyone else that 'got' the joke. Seems you're the only one that didn't.
  25. Did you actually read the whole thing, or just look at the list of drivers?
