Yesterday it was announced that BriSCA would hold a forum to discuss the sport and invited Stoxnet to nominate three fans to take part. Read the announcement here. We now have to decide who the three are. If you wish to be considered, then nominate yourself by either posting a reply in this thread or PMing me. Please don't be nominating other people - what we need is volunteers! In a couple of weeks I will do a poll and the members can vote for their three fan representatives.

By 6.pm Monday already 31 entries have been received and several more are expected. 11 of the Shoot out stars are on the grid and the event features a boost for Whites & Yellows with their own race plus adding some sparkle is the opportunity to 'harvest' some perhaps vital points as the meeting is also a 2018 World Championship Qualifying Round. With still several rounds remaining, some on tarmac which will favour other drivers and the 'double point finale' whilst early stages SSJ enjoys a 40 points lead over FWJ that can be overturned quite quickly - it remains all to play for and Sunday may be pivotal for some including crowd favourites Dan Johnson, Riley, Hines, Finnikin and Davidson to keep in the hunt and, certainly in the game for a top three finish in the series. 445 Nigel Green is determined to add some silver to his multi coloured wing this season! New BriSCA Formula One world champion 445 Nigel Green now has his sights set on the silver roof, writes Mark Paulson. Winning the end-of-season Shootout was always his main target, as he believes it’s a more reliable measure of the year’s best driver. “The Shootout was plan A at the start of the season,” he says. “All the energy now is being put into that. The European and the World Final so far are just bonuses really.” “You’ve got Frankie [Wainman], myself and Stuart Smith all really wanting this Shootout so I think it’s going to be a good end to the season.” Only a “bonus” it may have been, but how did Green feel as he crossed the line to claim a maiden world title? “It was just a case of lighting the tyres up and enjoying the moment,” he says. “It’s a big achievement to win the World Final and we’re proud to have the gold roof.” Read more from Nigel Green, including how he won the World Final, in Saturday night’s programme for BriSCA F1 Shootout Round 3 at the Adrian Flux Arena, King’s Lynn. Also in action are the BriSCA Formula Two stock cars in the first meeting of their inaugural National Series. There are currently 46 F1 Stock Cars and 54 F2 Stock Cars booked in to race Please note that any driver who turns up unbooked will not receive any complimentary admissions that they may be entitled to and may also not be allowed to race if the event is still fully booked. Drivers should book in to race through their association. Drivers please note that the pits open at 2pm and your early arrival will be appreciated. Drivers turning up in the last hour could well find themselves missing their first race. The Big League entry is headed by the new world champion, 445 Nigel Green, who added the gold roof to his European title at Ipswich last weekend. Now Green is focussed on the Shootout for the silver roof which had always been his primary target. Can the Leicestershire man win a third major title in 2017? New F1 Stock Car World Champion 445 Nigel Green will be looking to score lots of shootout points at King's Lynn this weekend The two most likely challengers to Greens supremacy are outgoing world champion 515 Frankie Wainman Jr, who won the final at Kings Lynn at the start of the month, and 390 Stuart Smith Jr who tops the Shootout points at this early stage. Fourth in the Shootout standing is 212 Danny Wainman who has gone well at the track this year and would love to finally take his first Kings Lynn final win. Next up, 217 Lee Fairhurst is not generally known for his prowess on the loose, but Fairhurst was a heat winner at the track in July and both are in good form. 217 Lee Fairhurst knows how to get to the front at King's Lynn Worksop driver 4 Dan Johnsons huge last-bend lunge at the World Final might have been unsuccessful, but it certainly thrilled the crowd and was typical of the entertainers all-or-nothing approach to racing. A bit early for a preview thread, but I've just been informed that the start time of this meeting has been moved to 4pm. Turnstiles will open 2.30pm. This is due to Sheffield Wednesday vs Leeds being rearranged to the same day with a 12.15pm kick off. It's a Shoot Out Round, plus Ministox.
