382 Stuart Rolph has withdrawn. 24 Mark Adkins has booked back in. Big thanks to Lee Fairhurst for helping to sort the car. -
Paul has very kindly sent me his driver data for up to 2016, including who is related to who, which has saved me some work. Results and driver stats from this year can be found on my Points & Stats bit on f1stockcars.com I'll merge these into the archive site at some point. My ultimate aim is to have the points & stats calculator automatically update the data in the archive. I'll post updates in the website updates section.

From Steve Rees: I have been talking to higher authorities to pre arrange the weather, nearly there, few tweaks. I asked for it to be more ambient (not too hot!) and they have made it more pleasant temperature wise and Met Office today suggests light rain showers and sun in the afternoon and dry evening and dry Sunday - I have done my best in pre planning! -

Information from Cowdenbeath Racewall: A few helpful notes to make your visit to the Racewall as straight forward and hastle free this Saturday. Key Timings: Gates Open 12pm. MicroF2 races from 2.15pm Practice times TBA F1 Driver Parade 4.40pm. Race meeting commences 5pm. Race meeting finishes 10pm. Cowdenbeath Children’s Gala: This takes place on Saturday at 12pm with the parade route, including the High Street (and therefore access to the stadium), subject to a rolling road closure to allow the parade through the town. Any road closures will be lifted by 1pm at the latest. For full details see fifedirect.org.uk. You may wish to arrive early and watch the parade! Parking: There are a number of free car parks around the town (parkopedia.co.uk) Parking directly outside the stadium is likely to fill early. On street car parking is available but we ask you to ensure you do not block driveways or park on pavements blocking access for local residents. A reminder that Cowdenbeath Train Station is just a short walk from the stadium, and you can make use of the park and ride facilities at Dunfermline Queen Margaret or other stops should you want to. Admission System: Gates open at 12pm. Admission prices are available at startrax.info. Wristbands will be given to spectators on entry. For this meeting, Startrax are implementing a gated system between the pit area and Grandstand/Terracing. Spectators and Race team members will need to show their wristband to gain access into/back into the Grandstand/Terracing areas. Please follow the direction of the staff involved in supervising this entry/exit process. Stadium Health & Safety: There is no smoking (including the use of e-cigarettes) in either of our two grandstands. Grandstand patrons must remain seated whilst racing is in progress (you cannot enter or leave the grandstand when a race is in progress). You cannot stand at the front of the Grandstand. Around the terracing you are required to stay behind the blue barrier at all times. Please do not sit on the blue barrier. RaceMonitor app: The Racewall utilises the RaceMonitor app which provides direct to your smartphone a free results service and for a small annual subscription to the app provider, a live timing feed straight from the transponder system (this feed is also broadcast on the Racewall website). The app is available to download from your usual app store. Trackshop & Catering: A trackshop selling souveneirs including specific items for the F1 weekend is located at the top of the turnstile bends. The event will also be filmed by Malcolm Lumsden Videos. Catering outlets will be open around the raceway and the raceview bar will be open in the new grandstand for alcoholic drinks - be aware that the drink driving limits in Scotland are lower than in the rest of the UK so don't drink and drive! Spectators are permitted to bring their own food and drink into the stadium however NO glass containers are permitted. We hope you enjoy your visit to the Racewall. Let the Sparks Fly! -

For anyone attending Cowdenbeath on Saturday please be aware that it is Cowdenbeath's Gala Day. High Street (the main road next to the stadium) will be closed between 12pm and 1pm to allow the parade to pass. For people planning to get there around that time, there may be a delay in getting to the stadium but you can attend the festivities around the area. There are even a few stock cars in the parade. -

THE BIG BOYS ARE BACK IN SCOTLAND! Startrax & Spedeworth in co-operation with GMP & HRP proudly return to invade SCOTLAND ! Is it really 2 years since BriSCA F1 went North ? The Thunder returns when BriSCA hits the road for it's biennial trip North of the Border to demonstrate their prowess in front of perhaps the most passionate and demanding (and friendly) race fans in Europe - the Scots who painfully have to travel South regularly to get their 'fix'! BriSCA F1 is back and set to rock, roll, and bring the thunder to the RACEWALL - truly THE venue for SATURDAY NIGHT THUNDER! 2018 is unique as BriSCA F1 Stock Car Racings brings the thunder to them! DOES IT GET ANY BETTER THAN TWO GREAT VENUES A STONES THROW FROM EACH OTHER! The party starts Friday night for early arrivals with a fun event at Lochgelly featuring local race classes - perhaps even a few F1 early arrivals for the weekend to mix with in the late bar - you can camp and settle down for a great show! SATURDAY We kick off at the UK's most iconic 'RACEWALL' at Central Park, COWDENBEATH, Fife! This is the 'ultimate' ampitheatre for the Gladiators - and BriSCA F1 step ups to that mark with it's high terracing, atmospheric 1800 eater Grandstands and of course the revered Racewall that given the speeds, drivers literally use to get round! All that horsepower, adrenalin, colour and noise comes together to create an unbelievable and unrepeatable explosion of high speed full contact action. If it wasn't enough that time is running out on 2018 World Qualification and points on offer with this being a World Qualifier, the title they all want to win is the coveted SCOTTISH CHAMPIONSHIP! An evening of high drama, great facilities and where you can get up close with the cars, it really is one you MUST NOT miss. A cracking support programme includes High Speed BriSCA F2 Stock Cars, National Saloon Stock Cars - worth the admission alone! and a rare visit by National Ministox - And then- the show moves to the impressive LOCHGELLY RACEWAY just down the road and the PARTY CONTINUES SATURDAY NIGHT in the Huge Bar and high spirits, mix with the drivers and settle down to a vibrant night into the early hours! You can travel directly to Lochgelly from Cowdenbeath, park, camp and settle down! AND THEN DAY 2 The Lochgelly Race Park is a newly developed and impressive dedicated motorsport facility offering huge parking, a fantastically laid out venue with terracing licensed bars and an excellent cafeteria for a great Scottish breakfast! let the action begin at the sweeping Fife venue with a 'great' mix for race fans.
