  3. We had "Stevenage Insurance Services Ltd" painted on the wall for the meeting. I went to an Insurance conference yesterday and the first thing someone said to me was "I saw your name on TV yesterday, it was painted on the wall at a motor racing event" I know the person who said it has not been oval racing before and was just watching the programme by chance.... The Power of TV!!!!!

  5. The Calendar will be on Sale at Belle Vue on Eddie's model stock car stand and from the Dave Willis (337) transporter, a contribution from each calendar sold on Sunday will go towards the ladies race Charities.
  6. So Not sure what you mean Spike!! Not many meetings you go to where they tow both race transporters and spectators cars in and out of the car park! Was good fun though, and gave four Englishmen a great excuse for a day off work!

A blast from the not so distance past added, Hoogblokland 30th April 2002, heavy rain had caused all other meetings to be cancelled in Holland that day, but somehow they managed to run at Hoogblokland.   8. Great to read those reports, brings back some memories of a couple of great meetings. What a shame Stoke is off the fixture list, it was an action packed track. I can't beleive it was 7 years ago though, were those the last ever Stoke meetings?

  13. lol, sorry about that Spike! I heard West Ham had a couple of attempts at goal that missed the post by a couple of feet, surely that counts as a goal against Watford these days, so technically West Ham won! Yep, that is Jenny Lewis' new cd.. The single is the best thing on it! But she is playing in London soon, so may go down to that.
