I read on internet that John Jebson has passed away, thoughts and condolences to his family and friends. He built and raced the Untouchable, one of the iconic cars of our sport.

I can't remember what I did last week let alone 40 years ago! sometimes fine details can get a bit hazzy, I know Neil did a lot of checking and rechecking of facts and details, but sometimes memories play tricks on us. we were buying Rs5s in the late 70s early 80s, but from a tyre fitter not direct from Dunlop, maybe same for you? I think it is an excellent book and a great reflections of those times in our great sport

Sad news, always had a chat with Mike when I saw him at meetings. thoughts are with his family and friends

Strange times Chevy Power, no one knows what is going to happen with Covid, we just have to let things happen when they happen until the covid thing is under control.

2021 Stock car calendar on sale now: Looking back on some of the sports greats as well as focusing on the 2020 covid hit season action and drivers. Due to the current situation the calendar will be available by post, full details to come soon but to order and reserve a copy please message James Bowles or Colin Casserley. Normally the calendar is produced in association with Durk Osinga from ASF in Holland but due to logistics obtaining the calendar from the Dutch printers it has been decided for 2021 that we will both produce our own calendars at a reduced price. Had enough of 2020, plan a better 2021 with the F1 stock car calendar! It is double A4 size and costs £10 plus £2.50 P&P there are 12 pages, with 120 photos and around 100 different drivers covered from world champions to 2020 Rookie drivers. Each month has a different theme. Thanks as always to the promoters, staff and officials, drivers, families, crews and to all our sponsors who make this happen. and to Jonny Goss for great artwork.

Great read Carl, Crawfish Crider also wrote about his time in the UK in his Road to Daytona Book. Sadly Bobby Myers was killed in a race accident shortly after returning to the USA, his son Danny "Chocolate" Myers was on of the crew members for Dale Earnhardt, Sr, -
April 20th 1981 Ringwood, 2nd in Consolation, 176 C Casserley, missed a last bender on Lee Wilson, would have been good to have won on my birthday!

Sam W, Tom won 4 finals in 2010, Only Andy smith and Paul Hines won more, and with 8 wins in both 2011 and 2012 he was the highest final winner in each of those years, So his start to the decade wan't too bad! :-)
